  1. Oh, I see. So you're happy then since GSH is providing crafters many more things to do, right? Or is your real complaint "I want to be able to have everything without investing the requisite time and effort."?
  2. They're making a whole digital expansion for you! What more do you want?! The entitlement you have is astounding.
  3. I'm more and more convinced you don't understand the game. I'd be ecstatic if we didn't have to use augments or stims in operations because then they wouldn't be tuned expecting them. This whole proposal is just, as mentioned before, petulant entitled generation nonsense. "I don't want to spend the effort but I want the reward!" You're entire premise is rooted that the only thing to do in the game is get new gear and that's a false assumption. Complete your achievements, play GSF, level a new alt. None of those things require you to be able to craft high level gear. "But what about the non-raiding crafters?! Won't anyone think of the non-raiding crafters?!" Guess what? You can start crafting end tables and couches with GSH so you can craft something other than gear. Apologies for any typos, mobile yadda yadda.
  4. Why do you need the top end gear if you're not doing the top end content?
  5. I'll reiterate what I've said before: I don't buy it. If this was the case, how could he have ever even signed up for a SWTOR account? He wouldn't have been able to read the website to do so. All browsers let you change the size of text and anyone who is truly disabled would be fully versed in Windows accessibility features. Also, why do you think that...what? 3 pixels makes a difference in readability? I'm convinced its a troll or someone who just wanted to devise a way to deflect criticism. I mean, look at how his posts have changed since he first started posting.
  6. What happens when someone who is level 20 queues up for an operation as a tank or healer who doesn't have the vast majority of their threat generating abilities/healing abilities? What about even before the tanks have a taunt? Obviously this just doesn't work...you can't let someone tank or heal an operation until later on just due to the differences in the toolsets needed for ops vs. flashpoints.
  7. Parsec would be fine, IF the game was setup to allow you to see logs that weren't just your own. As it is now, setup with the explicit goal of not making people who are bad at the game feel bad, its really a half solution to the problem of trying to lead a raid.
  8. At the Denver cantina event they said this won't happen. Well...the joystick part.
  9. Really? The ability to dedicate more time and patience than another player is "skill"? You don't really understand that word, do you? Afraid? No, because its a game and it would be stupid to be afraid of your pixels. Annoyed and likely to leave them game? Probably. If there were people running around in "alpha" classes that I didn't stand a chance against, yeah, I would probably quit this game because it wouldn't be fun anymore. The fun, the challenge, comes from competing with people on a level playing field, not beating up someone smaller than you. Honestly, this sounds like the mentality of a high school bully. "Its fun to beat up people weaker than me!". I don't want that in a game I play.
  10. Well you certainly will get your point across by insulting people...good tactic, captain. Call people names and everyone else will surely start to agree with you. This conversation is so weird. You keep acting like this game should be catered to you. That you and your friends should be able to have these incredibly powerful characters that can then ruin the fun of other people playing this game. Its like you don't really understand that there are other people in the world...that you believe this game was made just for you. You know what doesn't show skill? Killing someone who is massively underpowered compared to you. There is no skill in that and the only skill, as alluded to in an above post, to get an "alpha" class would simply be patience and time. So what? That isn't skill, that's just a lack of other things to do. You show skill by competing in arenas against people who are on a level playing field to you. There isn't an olympic event where an adult wrestles a child because there is no competition in that...no skill. There is no honor in that. You really need to just play a single player game...you'll be much happier.
  11. Oooooohhhh...I get it now. This is just another "I WANT SWTOR TO BE SWG!" thread. SWG is dead and buried.
  12. Dude, he just wants to fully load up two skill trees. He's a spoiled little kid that wants an "I WIN" button because he got camped by a sniper. I hate bumping this thread again...blah. Just let it die because its such a ridiculous suggestion it will never happen.
  13. You're simply not playing the same game as the rest of us, and further arguing with you is pointless because you're living in a fantasy world where you get to be better than everyone else. Edit: Expanding on that thought...you don't really understand that other people play this game, do you? You seem to be coming with a single-player game mentality where you want to be more powerful than everything else in the game. You seem to lack general empathy in being able to understand that other human being play this game too and that you are not, in fact, the center of it as you would be with a single-player game. You saw the WoW episode of South Park and decided you wanted to be like the guy with no life.
  14. They basically mean that defensively, which is what you specified. You said: Its possible I'm extrapolating a bit too much based on the WoW correlation, but for WoW bosses they are three levels higher than you defensively, which is why you need higher than 100% accuracy. Maybe its not three levels exactly, but its somewhere in there. The real trick in them is that they have their health and attack power tuned individually, but their defensive stats are always the same (per expansion). Well actually a little but ago you said this: You didn't say that "not many" had them, you seemed to be implying that it was commonplace. In any event, I'm asking for one example. The burden of proof is on you. This is like saying you know how game theory works but when I ask you say "psh...I shouldn't have to tell you...". You're attempting to shift the burden of proof off yourself because you realize you're in an untenable position. Again, it's a terrible idea that smacks of egotism born of entitlement, and you are under no obligation to write coherently, but its a pretty valuable skill to have and will put more grativas behind your suggestions as opposed to being dismissed out of hand. If you can't write in a coherent way, you're going to have some issues down the line.
  15. You've made the claim that this is common-place in other MMO's and I asked for you to specify one mainstream MMO that has this feature. You haven't done so. Do you know what the silver and gold borders actually mean? In terms of raid boss it just means that its three (I think) levels above max level. So...you just want to be a higher level than everyone else so you can be the bully. You got kicked around in PVP and now you want BW to implement a feature that lets you do the kicking. Its ridiculous. Edit: Also, I don't know if you're just a teenager, but come on with the text speak. You're not using any paragraphs, idiotic "txt speak" ("u" for "you"), disjointed punctuation, and an arbitrary use of capital letters. I can barely make it through one of your rants, I generally just skim it because its so painful to read. I guess my premise that you are young then really sheds some light on your sense of entitlement. This idea is a bad one, but if you want your ideas actually considered in the future, convey them in a way that doesn't immediately make someone cringe and not want to read what you wrote.
  16. The game already presents you with plenty of challenges. Complete all your achievements instead of trying to justify your desire for a god-mode cheat code.
  17. This is the POINT. How are you still missing it? No one should be substantially more powerful than anyone else. Its an MMO, I pay the same amount of money a month as you...why should you be 100x more powerful than me? You're just an egotist that has gotten camped so now you want to come back with a bigger stick, except the only way to do that in an MMO is by playing better and you just can't. You're sad that sent/mara aren't the flavour of the month anymore. Get over it.
  18. Oh...so you want a class that can one-shot everything and you get to decide who can roll this class? Neat. Maybe you need to build your own MMO where you can just be the powerful character you want to be. Stop complaining about snipers because you can't figure out how to beat them...maybe they aren't the problem...maybe you need to look inward. Also, name a mainstream MMO that has a class like that.
  19. I've said it before in other threads, but what I'd love to see would be something PowerAuras-ish. In lieu of that, perhaps something that provides some functionality akin to Aura Frames. In essence, it could be an action bar with buffs and/or debuffs that you can add simple filtering to, apply to yourself or your target or your ToT (etc.), and size appropriately.
  20. I mean, there are kind of three possible responses here, right? Roll on a PVE server. Learn to PVP better. If anyone in the game gets the drop on you, you're likely in for a bad time, you just seem to single out snipers I guess because one camped you. TROLOLOLOL Edit: If there was an "Alpha" class, why would anyone in the game be playing anything else? You'd just be killed by the Alpha class and then complain about how there should be a double-alpha class so you can have the advantage. Its an MMO, balance is the name of the game. A class that is meant to destroy balance would simply not fly.
  21. Because it costs money and I'm betting the share of Windows phone users doesn't justify the cost. Edit: When the tokens were first released, there was not support for Windows phones so when they bought licenses and configured the IOS and Android versions they could not do the same for Windows phones.
  22. Hello, Vegas? Where are my winnings?!
  23. Why do the field respec people think that dual/multiple spec and field respec are mutually exclusive? No one is saying to remove field respec.
  24. I was making the point that exclusivity is inherent in the game. The game...pretty much any MMO...wouldn't work without exclusivity, the feeling that you got something that isn't common, that you accomplished something whether it be financial savvy, raiding prowess, or PVP ability. You're asking to make the Revan set common. You're asking for it to be handed to you so you don't have to work for it like the rest of us did and that doesn't sit well. Also, you're not asking a question, you're making a suggestion and this forum allows people to spitball ideas and others to present their opinions on those ideas. If you can't take a counterpoint to your idea then you are going to have a real hard time in life.
  25. They were SUPER cheap (everything but the helmet) in the early days of that cartel pack. Just because you weren't around to get it doesn't mean you should just be given it now because you want it.
