  1. When is Bioware going to fix the horrible sound issues in 1.2? I'm constantly having convo going mute in FPs and sounds cutting out in Ops and Heroics is a major pain. You would think that after spending millions on developing top end convos and voice overs this is one aspect of the game that Bioware would be on top of. Please fix this Bioware.
  2. T5 HM full stop. Pull the boss outside to the hall to avoid turret aggro and make sure your healer cure dots and have your tank and dps are interrupting.
  3. T5 HM is small fry. Try D7 or Lost Island HM where the bosses dropped gear no one could use and it all went to companions. What a total waste of time.
  4. Why is it so hard for Bioware to design some end game armor that doesn't look like over the top garbage. This is Star Wars for crying out loud. Is it so hard to come up with decent Jedi gear? Have they not seen the source material??
  5. Most of the healers with huge heal totals are useless. They're just farming aoe heal instead of doing any real healing like keeping the ball carrier from dying. Notice how the OP's team lost. In a real PvP match with players who knows what they're doing the OP would be spending most of his time at the spawn point.
  6. Nope. It was 4% yesterday too and it's still dodgy as ever.
  7. The new sage/sorc mechanics is utterly garbage even after I adapted to and cleared content. Now there is a huge focus on riding the health/force roller coaster which can leave the group and raid vulnerable to random wipes.
  8. Being a healer in PVP is utterly pointless and punishingly unfun. My sage can not keep anyone up and dies constantly. I can't kill anyone, I can't heal anyone, and I die in seconds. What is the point of healing in PvP when my contribution is so utterly worthless? Which leaves PvE. Out of all the MMOs that I have played I have yet to see a healer that is so crippled. The 2.3 cast time of deliverance is pointless when the boss is throwing 7-12k downrange in HM. If the tank and DPS are taking damage during a critical phase then I'm screwed, the healing power just isn't there to recover. What this means is that every boss encounter must go perfectly as planned. A missed interrupt, lag, a random event, and it's a wipe. My ability to see my group through crisis situation is completely neutered. Sometimes I wonder if the group is better off with a buffed up ship droid because healing 1.2 is predictable and bland. Helpless and powerless. Thats what it feels like to be a healer in SWTOR 1.2.
  9. Before I can rapidly spam 2 5K heals (crits) in about 2 secs to deal with high damage situations where a party member would suddenly take 10K+ dmg in a HM or raid. Now that is impossible because deliverance takes roughly 2 secs for a single cast. In short my brust healing output has be reduced by half. To put out the same healing with deliverance now would take 4+ seconds. In HM and raid situations, by that time I would be healing a corpse. How are other sages dealing with this?
  10. So if I'm reading the charts right it seems that Sage/sorcs are still the best healers in the game? I'm also disappointed in operative healing numbers. I thought they're buffing ops and scound healers in 1.2? If they did then the numbers isn't there to back it up.
  11. Forget about the Cryengine. I just came back from the Tera close beta and if only SWTOR can look half as good as that game I'll die happy. The visual fidelity and silky smoothness of Tera's performance simply have to be seen to be believed. 30 people pvping in the open world with near impossible nextgen character texture detail and animations. No lag.
  12. I'm starting my new guardian and I'm curious as to how effective is this guide for leveling and FPs since for the most part the guide recommend going full Defense. From what I heard a hybird of Defense is preferable? If any experienced guardian can shed some light on this it would be most appreciated.
  13. This is brilliant. It would also fix the pop issue Harbinger and Swiftsure now that Roo lovers have left.
  14. Oh screw this then. I might as well save money by cancelling now, I did not plan on doing this but Bioware is basically forcing me to quit and play Tera (release at late April) at this point.
  15. I'm not asking for free transfers. I'm asking for an option to transfer, paid or otherwise.
  16. I'm a late night American player who specifically targeted Harbinger and Swiftsure for its Oceanic population at my playing hours. Now that those guys are moving I want the option of transferring with the people I play with or else get left behind or even worst, having to reroll, AGAIN. What is Bioware's stance on this issue?
  17. I don't see what's all the rage is about. So you want to roll on to the new servers with full T3 gear, 400 tradeskills and 10 mill creds? That will seriously unbalance the server and screw what ever pathetic economy there already is. The best thing to do is to not allow transfers period, the second best thing is to only allow naked transfers, no gear, no bank items no creds. What would pvp be like all these 50s in full BM gear running around? Even worst, what would pre 50 pvp be like with all the lvl 45 running around pwning everyone in WZ?
  18. I usually play from 10:30pm to 5am PST. That time slot dictates that I play in the unofficial Oceanic servers or deal with ghost town US servers. I think its only fair then that I should allowed to transfer and move with the people I play with. Its either that or merge other servers with these unofficial servers to make up for the pop lost.
  19. LMAO this noob just got killed by the worst class in the game and went into forums to cry about it.
  20. This. All day. Imps who are complaining about queues should really **** because you're the reason for this faction imbalance. In fact they should remove same faction PvP all together or give diminishing commends until the faction balance even out. Just by being an Imp you means that you hate PvP and prefers team stacking. Right now open world PvP in Ilum is like playing BF3 where one team have 30 players and the other team have 10.
  21. It is what it is. Sage and Sorcs are the best healers in the game. That is not to say I don't enjoy playing my scoundrel, but it doesn't change the fact he's the worst healer and content are being completed in spite of him instead of being because of him. There is absolutely NOTHING that this class does well, most of all his primary role.
  22. This class is subpar in all regards with zero upside in group situations. They are the barebones, the last option, when you can't find anyone else to fill the role.
  23. Maybe because they're used to be healed by a sage and were shocked your sawbone's lack of production. On my sage force armor allowed my group to mitigate huge amount of damage allowing me to patch heals with HoTs or a well placed AoE heal. This same group on my scound experienced massive spike damage and sent my sawbone into panic mode which blew all CDs and we still wiped.
  24. This. The problem with Scounds heals is that they are the worst at their role. It's not that they can't fill their role. They just suck at it and requires extreme skill and the correct group to succeed. The skill requirement isn't an issue, its the rewards, and the scound healer is the least rewarding class. I have to work my tail off to achieve the same result as my sage while having half of his tools. As a healer this class does absolutely nothing well and offer nothing in return. That is the thrust of this thread.
  25. This. Force users are usually demi gods of the Star Wars universe and unless they're a Padawan, they're usually leaders instead of followers.
