I'd love that. I join pvp to actually PVP, not to spend 15 minutes on a node guarding it. The maps are very bad because if you want to win you gotta avoid pvp, that's really stupid.

You assume I'm crazy, you assume my arguments are bullcrap. I don't know why you're so aggressive but if you build your PC's since 1995, you'd know that "I play fine" or "I'm having an excellent experience" doesn't matter when someone is asking for a CPU advice. That's why NUMBERS are the main factor here. Also you have the FPS counter turned off, so your game may be running at 20 fps and you'd not know.. Imagine if the person trusts you and buy the CPU you told him to, then that person gonna run the game at 20 fps and have a horrible experience. Again, that's why I asked for numbers. The game's performance is terrible, 32bit dx9. It requires a fast single-core CPU. Some people here will tell you the very basic things, update drivers, format windows bla bla bla. Your CPU is not bad but the game's engine is the problem here, you won't have a decent fps with that CPU even turning everything to Minecraft graphics.

Numbers please, saying that your experience is excellent means nothing because it's 100% subjective. Some people can't even notice the difference between 15 and 60fps, then they say "my game runs fine". What's your minimum fps inside a level 75 warzone in the middle of players using skills altogether? What's your minimum fps while doing operations?

Ok so your minimum fps was 63 inside level 75 in the middle of all the players using skills. Ok, I believe you that's very impressive results for this ****** 32bit engine. I'll take a look at some pci 4.0 results because as far as I know HDD or the fastest SSD improves only loading times, not the raw performance fps. BUT if you're saying your game had fps increase from pcie 4.0 ok, i'll believe that.

Supressive Fire - Reduce the damage by 50% or reduce the amount of hits by half to be equal to Sorcs and Mercs AoE's. Diversion - Increase the cooldown to 1:30 minutes. Make it affect tech and force only and reduce the accuracy debuff to 20 or 25%. The way it is it's just too much, it's unbalanced. Force Bound already got changed to affect only force and tech, Diversion needs to be changed too. "BuT iN RaNkEd 4x4 DPS Snipers DiE FasT". You simply can't balance the game based on ranked all dps. Anyone should die fast if 4 good dps are focusing a target.

Everyone jumps to avoid LOS and other strategies, what you're saying it's not new. I'm not talking about these certain situations, you know what i'm talking about, the Sorcs jumping for literally no reason other than just being a kangaroo.

Ok, nice information. But what is your game's fps in the middle of 16 players in level 75 warzone? What's the minimum fps? Another question, how is moving your HDD to pci-e 4.0 related to Swtor performance? I'm not talking about loading time, but actually performance, did your fps increased because of pcie 4.0?

Short and fast answer: i9 9900K overclocked to 5Ghz + 16gb DDR 3600mhz + SSD + Z490 motherboard. This game uses 2 cores of CPU at max, it has a terrible engine. It needs a very strong single core performance. Some people here will say "hey I play FINE with my i3 from 10 years ago", but in reality they play at 15fps and thinks that's fine. Do not listen to those people in here. Other people will say "I play at 100fps with my i7 4770k", that's another lie unless they stay at their ship 100% of the time. Even with the most expensive computer this game can't keep 60fps+ inside warzone pvp.

Remove Force Bound from the game!! But also remove more than half of roots and slows. Balanced.

I'm one of them. I used to play obj's and try hard to win, i'd get mad and pissed after 2 or 3 matches and rage quit. In my team I was the only one trying to win the game while the rest would deathmatch at mid. Nowadays I couldn't care less about obj, my objective is to farm the enemy team, to kill them as much times as I can. Now I play 4 to 5 hours of pvp and have zero stress. Another thing that made me stop playing obj in Huttball is the Operative roll, it's impossible to counter-play because of de-sync.

Swtor still runs 32bit dx9. I have an i7 7700 + GTX1070 + SSD + 16gb + clean Win10 installation with all up to date drivers (win 2004 updated, Nvidia 451.67 WHQL, latest motherboard BIOS), I even optimized my win10 for gaming (google Debloat win10). I run games at 1080p 60hz monitor. Swtor is the only game that drops fps to 20-25 inside level 75 warzones when there's 12+ players using skills. My fps is 150-200 in Fleet but once inside warzones it suffers badly. I tried literally EVERYTHING you can imagine throughout these 8 years to try to make this game run decently. Do you remember the Ilum lag fest when the game released? I was there. I won't upgrade to an i9 because the problem is not my system. On my machine: FFXIV runs at 85-105fps 100% of the time on ultra settings using extrenal shaders to improve graphics (Reshade) Gw2 runs at 60-75fps 100% of the time on mixed settings (reduced player model limit, no reflections) ESO runs at 70-90fps 100% of the time on all High. WoW runs at 100fps 100% of the time. Black Desert Online runs at 60-75fps 100% of time on Remastered with High textures. All new titles I'm running above 60fps, not on Ultra, but a mix of High/medium. Just installed Horizon New Dawn, running it at minimum 65fps on medium/high settings. Tera just released today a 64bit client, the difference is absurd, 30+fps gains inside the same dungeons with same graphics settings. Swtor is my beloved game, I won't quit but it's tiring to play with such low fps. Some people here will say "I run the game fine with my i3 + gtx460". What is "fine"? For me fine = 60fps. Please go to a level 75 warzone in the middle of all clutter and tell me whats the FPS. Some people with the exact same config as me will say they run at 60+fps 100% of the time, I beg you to share the magic. I know this may not happen, because we know that EA is just an extremely greedy company that couldn't care less about its playerbase. Bioware seems to not have the money to invest on a 64bit client, but I have hope the new influx of players would change their minds.

No it's not fine, my subscription run out in 2 days and I won't re-sub until 2 things: 1 - deserter debuff is gone 2 - option to disable Huttball. Even having alts I don't want to deal with the INCONVENIENCE of putting all my gear on the bank, log on my alt to get all the gear then re-join the party and re-queue. Can you see the bigger picture here instead of just saying "people have alts"?

You can disable most of the companion's attack abilities. Check the companion skill bar and uncheck the damaging abilities.
