  1. chat macro are not a problem as 99% of the people already ruin the "fair common ground" using ventrilo ventrilo is like macro honestly... If something is not "in game" whoever use it taking the "easy" way I dont see any difference in wanting the macro or using Ventrilo everybody can use ventrilo as everybody can use software macro so whoever say macro are lame and then use ventrilo is just as guilty of trying to cheat you should only be able to use what is in game they want us to chat to eachohter add an ingame voice chat they want us to do macro add an in game macro system I am so sad that people cannot understand the concept of "fair game" anymore nowday whatever give you an advantage and is not IN GAME is in my opinion a way or another to cheat I do use ventrilo and i am as guilty as everybody else but i do because 99% of the premade use it so actually it's more "fair game" to use it then don't if you meet a premade but i would be the first to stop using it if everybody would... part of the game is to deal with little comunication in my opinion strategy will became much more evident if people cannot real time talk to eachother. It's not easier or it's not harder it's just different like a marathon is different form a bicycle race using ventrilo is a different game then not using the complexity is different you get real time info and the game get a higher speed of execution more speed obvioulsy add complexity in a way (reflex-reaction time) and remove a part of complexity (strategy) why turn game are called strategy game as opposite to real time shooter that are more solo/reflex type of game because the slower the infomration you recive the more time u can reflect on them the more strategy the game involve Ventrilo/Macro is the FPS style MMO noVentrilo/noMacro is the strategy style MMO they are 2 game just different no one better then the other I personally like the strategy part more...but that's just my taste
  2. i decide to do a marathon but since i sux at running i go by bicycle (i am smarter i go faster and do get way less tired) i call the other lame because they could get a bicycle as well but they didn't my skill was to think about a bicycle and buy a bicycle (i still sux at running is not like i got any better) rule explicitly say bicycle are not allowed (bw said it over and over) but it's so much easier to win the marathon this way why shouldn't i do it plus my bicycle is invisible so nobody really notice running is tiring and difficult you need to train u sweat... no point in that I am all for macro in game and bicycle in marathon people is just stupid sport is based on equal condition to create challenge... obviously there are way to make thing easier why use a bow and arrow when there is a gun? People that use macro are people that are not good enough to play on fair field and need a boost to keep up sometimes the boost is so great that they win easy and they think they are good but take away the unfair advantage and they sux even worst because they got use to cheating and never actually learned to play
  3. i used to make an example with sage Rakata vs BM and honestly the concept deosnt change much with denova vs WH the idea is you need to have 1100-1200 expertise once u are in that range the delta between you and a 1300 expertise is so little and u probably would be better focusing on other stats specially if u have a stat that get a bonus from the skill tree but the main point is to be at least between 1100-1200 exp (honestly 1000 is a little too low in my opinion it was okey when WH came out because BM was maxed at 1200-1250 but now with WH more comon 1300-1350 i think it raised the confort zone from 1000 to 1100
  4. I would make a team based on 2-3-3 scouldrel(H)+shadow (team S) Commando(H)+Vanguard+Gunslinger (team A) Sage(H)+Mara+Guardian (team F) I like to divide them by force user and army and have a mixed team of invisible then you will work team S+A or F+A depending from situation
  5. armoring are bind to location where they are extrected at least PVP wise so i doubt u can put a armoring more the 22 in any belt/gloves ops guy above me already stated it.

Rakata has hands down better stats overall even including recruit expertise in the calculation BUT this last as long as u are full heal because if u add an healer in the calculation the healer will heal you for 3000 his 3000 heal will be worth 15/20% more on Recruit then Rakata because you will get 15% less damage so put Rakata & Recruit at same HP after like 5 second of fight when they both are low and they both receive an heal same if someone dare to guard you... you will be getting 23% more damamge (yep a WH has 1300exp that is 23% more damage) so you in ur rakata are getting hit for 5000 instead of 4000 and the guarding guy is getting 2500 (500 more then he should) honestly speaking i think overall Recruit is better but if u have rakata is not a big deal for the first week in 1 week u can replace AT LEAST half of it with BM and BM is WAY BETTER
  7. dear lord they still dont get it... human race is doomed pvp gear to pvp pve gear to pve is not rocket science and yes Rakata is a lil better then recruit but BM is better then Rakata hands down and it really take 1 week to get BM so you are excused in rakata only the first week
  8. macro is the tool for people that lack skill to catch up... what is skill in a videogame game: a) reflex and understanding of what to push when to push b) a little of strategy c) beeing able to paly in group that's is no other skill is involved people that is physically limited and have lame reflax or hard time memorizing what to do... they need a device to help them otherwise they would perform poorly (fail in point A) it's like to say lets run from here to there since i run slow and i know i will lose i put wheels under my shoes and skate and call it skill I call it cheating but honestly nobody care that much if u sux so bad that u need a program to help you click 2 button fast enough or in the right sequence because without the program u are not capable of... I almost feel sorry for you use ur macro for all i care at least u are a bit more of a challenge and I enjoy it slightly more because without ur macro i bet u wouldnt be capable of entratain me
  9. it's not true that 900-1000 is enough... is okey but not enough especially now where full WH are more and more comon the true is that the difference between u and ur enemeny is better to be LESS then 200 exp so when people used to have 1150/1200 expertise yes 950-1000 made sense now people is running with 1250-1300 expt and i would advice to have at least 1050-1100 obviously recruit give you 900 and that's still the starting point u cannot do much if u dont have commendation ur only way is going recruit but you are still a dead weight in a group no matter what some DPS (and some healer too) look at the scoreboard read a big number in DPS a big number in HEAL and they think they did awesome with 300 expertise but the big number of heal is 90% on themselves and the DPS just sucked 30% more heal from the helaer that could have been spent better on other person and both made it hard for anybody to guard them (in one match i reach 160K in guarding because of one of those guys) since who is guarding them is getting an extra 5%-10% (sometimes 15%) damage from guard. solo minded people that only look at scoreboard and understand nothing of group PVP think they can do awesome in PVE gear because of the cool number they read in scoreboard but the true is that their result weigth a lot on the rest of the group that had to sacrify 5% 10% or more in order for them to make a useless big number
  10. other problem i think the system tend to favor 2 premade to group up then random player i could be wrong but if 13 people are in que - 2 group of 4 - 1 gorup of 2 and 3 single 1+1+1 obviously the system will put togehter the 2 group of 4 more easily so usually a premade get mix up with another premade and that make things worst most of the time make a line in the code that in a similar case of premade first u match it with 4 pug then if there aren't the next smallest group and the PUG to fill up and you will see already a better balance
  11. voidstart is terrible not matter what really because the objective is the smallest of all civil u can circle around u have 360 degree and a small distance range novare u have a big range void u have 180 degree small distance range AND proximity to respaw (that is bad in civil war too with that dumb bike 1 step away but at least is 3 second for everybody void is random some people just get lucky STUPID IDEA) make the bike land a little further away from stair and remove the ugly voidstar to fix that non-sense of the AOE blind zergfest
  12. true it's easier to defend if you know the people but certain class can hold it long enough that if u are on voice chat u dont need the best i wouldnt put my best dps defending a 1vs1 turret if u have a shadow warrior tank spec put him in defence and u can be almost sure even if you dont know him and u are in voice chat that he will be able to handle it long enough obviously if 3 stealthed attach him they can chain stun him but in that case even ur strongest person even if u know exactly who is the best in 1vs1 doesnt make any difference.

I dont agree well perhaps because i play on a RP server i tend to meet people that do always what they have been told maturity check shouldnt be a factor to play a role in this discussion the disparity we see between PUG and PREMADE is all about VOICE chat maturity play a 10% role at max gear a 30% role and comunication a 60% I know geared sentinel in full WH augmented that still cannot defend a turret alone because their silly tunnel vision
  14. is really not about premade is about bad player and unfair advantage of voice chat if a pug happen to be in ventrilo vs a pug that is not it will be exactly the same as premade/pug the problem is Voicechat group (that happen to be usually 99% of the time premade) vs not voice chat group that's why we identify the problem with premade vs pug but we focus on the wrong problem if u form a premade without voice chat u can lose with any PUG that is half decent because the speed of comunication between the group is equal sometimes for people that play a lot togheter some sinergy are automatic and u dont need to write them out but the advantage is not that great to create a real unbalance because sinergy are automatic in good player what is missing is instant precise comunication "i need help 2 people" "ME(say A)" "ME(say B)" and this is not something u can have in automatic even if u know the person from age because is a in game situation that change everytime it's really not about premade as is not about pug it's about comunication... in a pug sometimes you write something and someone is too lazy to write back and sometimes nobody write back u have no clue if they are coming how many are coming to support you and sometimes only one come sometimes 5 and u needed only 1. Voice chat should be INSIDE the game end of story till the game doesnt support voice chat "in game" we cannot even start the discussion pug/premade Comunication is the real OP in war is always been and it will always be who have better info win the war not who have better army

Rakata VS Recruit in 1vs1 pvp they are almost on par (with a little edge of rakata, rakata is 1 step under BM and half step over Recruit) but if at the equation we add an healer 2vs2 (with healer) each healer will heal 3000 to you and your enemy but your 3000 will be 15% less effective then the recruit guy because the STARTING PULL is that a STARTING PULL when people refill it they refill it not in percentage but with a fix number so if u are at 2000/20000 or 2000/14000 doesnt make any difference if he heal you for 3000 you both go to 5000 but the one with RECRUIT will mitigate 15% of ur damamge so his 3000 are worth 15% more and dont let me start if someone is guarding you... you get bigger nummber and half of that bigger damamge go to the person guarding u end of story STOP FIGHTING IN PVE GEAR IN PVP (on the positive side if u waste commendation for PVP healing thing that one work in % of max heal that why in 1vs1 rakata is half step ahede)

  17. obviously if then people like this bring only 1 healer i understand why they sux 1 healer alone cannot do much in my server every decent premade has 3 sometimes 4 depend from the type of healer some OPS are more DPS but still can heal... i guess if u fight with a team with only one healer i understand why you think u can 1vs1 him.

  20. they hit less hard anyway and for whoever think that removing dps adrenaline or healing adrenaline is the same has no clue healer have to be faced in 2 or 3... so you are removing 3 DPS adrenaline and 1 healing adrenalin so the 3 dps will do tree time less damage then the lost of heal... since healer can only cast 1 adrenaline healer God mod is coming this means only longer fight ergo an extra heal to cast because damage is always over time the shorter the better here lowering DPS will raise the TTK and healer will have MORE TIME to heal so 2 advantage more time and only lose 1 adrenaline vs 2/3 adrenaline of attackers

  23. you have to look it at the complexity of the change they removed relic/adrenaline they removed the highest peak damage... (as the operative was whining) so our heal was OBVIOUSLY out of place as it was our armor.... without the combo relic/adrenaline there is no way someone can kill a tanksin so looking at the change to tanksin without looking at the change in the way damage is applied is wrong TTK was highly dependent from RELIC+ADRENALINE with relics lasting 20 second (not 3 or 5 second) once you remove the capacity for the DPS class to make big number (and this nerf go to ALL dps class not only Operative but MARAUDER/SENTINEL and PYRO too) you cannot have a tanksin healing so damn much with so much armor so the 2 are connceted i dont think the tanksin nerf is a tanksin nerf but a shift in DPS numbers of course the class untouched are the one Buffed
