  1. People fail to realize that as many people send hate tells then put you on ignore. There are countless others that see you and the person sending the tells and realize you're a troll and ignore you as well. In a guild surpassing 200 people everyone blacklists you so that's quite a bit of people that can be in group finder and youll never get a pop, on top of not receiving any heals/shield support when you are PVPing. Play how you like, The ramifications extend beyond that match. Frankly im sure most anyone that happened to put together a raid and remembered you as a troll they'd blacklist you on the spot as well.
  2. I started using a generator when the tanking nerf hit. I'll probably be situational once I hit 50. Generator for defending, focus for attacking.
  3. I like 3-2-3 in CW, force speed capable go to their natural. 1sin tank at mid, to hold the longest, once you see the swing you adjust accordingly. It's sad how often the other team only sends 1-2 to their natural. When they send 1 the extra peels off to go where needed. Speeder make east and west the most desirable IMO. Send in a stealth tank every now and them to make sure they keep 2 mid. Keep force speed capable on the swing under mid.

  6. Irregardless of how far youll get, if you dont have access to a healer the adrenals and packs are the only thing you can rely on to not get even more worked. All ranked are hardcore players. It creates a need for Biochem which they are slowly making useless. You don't have to have them, you dont have to use TS. But it gives you the advantage over the other team. Though if WZ adrenals are a must to compete, so are healers,tanks, dps etc depending on what side of the looking glass your in. Pretty much every PUG I see in general wants BM gear or better as it is.
  7. And remove all defensive cooldowns and the adrenal. Because reduced dmg is still increasing TTK. Preventing 5k dmg or healing 5k, same thing. And good luck getting combat to drop more than once every 5 mins without running away or wasting a vanish. And punish the guilds that can't always run with a healer. Yay elitism.
  8. Granted its the Sub50 bracket but I noticed myself going from almost 100% to dead in less than 1 GCD in expertise modded 40 gear. Sniper both times iirc. But as buggy/laggy pvp ha been since 1.3 it may have been more than one GCD. The change made us more squishy. I started running with a shield to get some tanking back. Works pretty decent of you can blow your defensive stuff while they waste all their energy and get into a bad regen situation=auto shot.

  10. When I put myself into tank stance I go from 2090 armor to 4094, only a 100% increase and not 115% like its supposed to be. Correlates to a 313.5(15% of 2090) armor rating loss, or equal to me removing my leg armor and a 4% mitigation loss@lvl 46 in 40pvp gear w/expertise mods. I stated it in general chat and a few other sins noticed it as well. Most people haven't realized as they rarely take off tank stance. I put in a bug ticket but no response yet. I'm curious as to whether it's game wide or isolated incidents.
  11. Went with the Balmorran pants to go with that sleeveless hooded top, name escapes me ATM. I'd really love to be able to get the elegant dress to pvp in. That would be so awesome.
  12. Anything but the dress/robe option. Obviously the higher level the better since I don't know how much the armor rating will hurt endgame pvp. What, if anything, are my options? About to ding 46 if that helps.
  13. Yes, lets make tanks even harder to find, theyll already be a lot less Sins with the upcoming nerfbat. And theyll be the least desired statistically as the changes stand.
  14. SWG space was awesome, until you had to take 4 shuttles to get back to where you left your ship. Having a full crew YT-1300 was awesome, though for PvP I saw more than a fair share of other people on Tempest, but they always outgeared me and I went down in flames. The way the Hero Engine tends to get real laggy when a bunch of people start fighting up close, I dont know if it could handle a 20v20 dogfight. Though it wouldnt be as gfx intense since there would be fewer skills being used/particle effects. Being able to take a guild capital ship into battle with a fighter escort would definitely get me back in space.

If we get steamrolled I wont feed them medals, but if youre more than 50% down in Civil war and you can barely hold 1 node much less 3, sometimes its just best to take the horse to pasture and put it out of its misery. Now when people do it if things go south in the first 60 secs we should be allowed to vote kick em.

Pretty close to what ill run for Ranked, I dont currently use a Generator though I may try that out tomorrow. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#200McMskrckZhGrZfM.1 See how it works with the nerfs, but tank stance will still be the must if you want to run the ball or keep a node long enough to let your team swing. Unless youre gonna DPS all the time I think its better to use the point for Surging Charge somewhere else.
  17. Ill have to play with the changes. With TTK going up I think anything to keep Force up will be golden. I dont use Surging Charge much running with a premade as I always want to be able guard my healer/stay alive long enough for the team to swing, and stay alive running the ball. Force Pull is just too useful to pass up when ranked WZs come in youll want those fire and acid pits to handle those healers. Im looking at something like this http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#200rfMs0MckZhGr0kZf.1 less armor/burst but all the utility. Without Obfuscation you wont stay hidden in an endzone long, or be able to stealth past people to set up a pass. And that movement speed is the difference between stopping that node/door cap and missing out. Though for straight Surging Charge DPS, ill use something like. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#200bcMs0MZhGrRkh0bzZf.1 Chain shock would give more DPS, but Premonition is so useful finding those stealths and hitting em with a CC before they can even jump anyone. And that totally wrecks an Op/Smugs burst cycle.
  18. My smuggler was supposedly OP and beat with the nerfbat twice, and can still own people. Sin is supposedly OP and will be nerfed and I will still own people. Though I dont rely on tank spec as much. Other classes will have their day and the skilled players will still own people. Bioware is at least moving things away from the Tracer Missile days.
  19. If you just want to level and hold the team back/provide cannon fodder to buff the others teams stats... ASAP. If you want to start getting some of your core abilities and be able to contribute to winning, at least 20-25.

  21. It was stated zerg right stealthers left. So about 2 doors into Voidstar this Op from Ruin keep beating her head against the left side against impossible odds. When someone states that to swing with the team she states "you told me to go left!"

  23. My smug healing spec makes me a god(with a guard, burst nerfed and adrenal change it'll be super ez mode), my dps spec (aka Biowares whipping spec) needs some love. Not another whack with the nerfbat to survivability. Im not 50 yet on my Sin, so I can't say how much the hit will effect PvE. Dps spec is more fun in pvp anyway.
  24. Chased a smug around for a whole ACW last night in the sub50 bracket, swear I heard the instant heal go off 10 times in less than 30 seconds. Even with decreased interrupt talents and my other sin stuff he stayed right above death. Granted he wasn't healing anyone else either. I just hit 40 think he was in the mid 40s. With increased TTK coming and adrenal changes you will need 3-4 people to burst one down fast enough. And hope he doesn't get his vanish off.
