Same problem for me...it's lame.

I've been having a REALLY awful RNG with RE'ing barrels. Commando 22 and Reflex 22. I've made EASILY 20 to 30 OF EACH with no crit purple schem learned. I just stopped so as not to waste even more mats.... Swijr

Honesty, really? Come on guys, they didn't hide that were registered sex offenders. They just raised the price of some barter gear. It's not like you just lost your health care... Swijr

This change is GREAT! Why you say? Well, if you PVP regularly, you have something to shoot for. You also don't hit the 1000 merc and 1000 wz cap while you're waiting for 50. For example: I'm just into lvl 48 on my Trooper. I have 40 valour, full 40 pvp gear AND Full 40 on Elara Dorne AND Yuun. Why? Because I had a HUGE wz commendation overflow. I was getting more comms than I could spend. (We also have the corresponding lvl 46 pvp weapons.) So, it should cost more thus making the gear more of a reward and harder to get. But it's not THAT much harder guys, honestly. Now that the WZ are bracketed and a lot more fun, it's not depressing to play the matches to get the comms. This is a good change overall IMO. Swijr

I agree, getting violated by 500 exp 50s (without a kiss) is no fun. I'm looking forward to the brackets, but I'm not going to quit over them not being there yet. My lvl 47 trooper has 40 valour and I've done a good deal of the story line quests and a lot of PVP. I've been mugged and had my wallet stolen by the Sith quite a few times. I've also been part of a few gang land beat downs. W/e... Just deal with it and work your way up. If you KNOW pvp WZ are full of 50's... don' play in them. The Valour comes quickly, it's not hard to lvl up. Get to 50, pvp, get some gear, rinse and repeat. I still play with my 23 Shadow. In fact, he fares better (in terms of helping to win games) than my trooper does (he's just a path clearer/DPS whore). Am I unsubbing for the lack of brackets currently? No. It's at least acknowledged and will be fixed. Swijr

I never realized just HOW MANY stacks of mats I'd have to burn through to have ALL the variations of weapons for my Armstech. I'm barely able to type this through the tears of pain... You're doing the WZ anyway, I don't think that 3 are unreasonable at all. NOT GETTING CREDIT FOR THEM...that's unreasonable. Swijr

I just dropped 2 skills last night (170 range) on my 22 shadow and it hurt... I can't imagine doing it at 400 (like my trooper is at). Everything I've read makes biochem completely OP. End game PVP essential. Swijr

Hotkey meaning gaming keyboard? I'm guessing a macro'd mouse would be just as inefficient. Swijr

I got to 1000 Merc and 800 wz last night and just went ahead and got my lvl 46 gun (I'm a 44) and started getting the 40 pvp armor for Elara. I just don't want to waste the points. I might have to equip Aric the same way. Swijr

^^THIS is why I think Assault is the better "on the run" pvp option. I burn them with incendiary round, hit them on the run with Hammer Shot (get them slowed) and then High Impact Bolt, and then I lay into them with the big hits (Assault Plastique, Full Auto, (possible free HIB), Charged Bold (another possible free HIB), rinse, repeat. I was really handing it out last night and I'm only a 44. The 50's with expertise were still devastating, but I was holding my own and taking a few with me. Swijr

I'm a fan of the Assault tree in PVP. I find the free impact bolt (which can be shot on the run) is a great bonus from full impact or charged bolts. The slow from hammer shot and fire damage are great and not to mention the assault plastique at cap (also can be thrown on the run). I think both are powerful, but assault has been working out really well for me. Swijr

Yup, put your companions in pvp gear, get your lvl 42 and 46 weapon. Buy consumables, etc... Swijr

My problem is that at 40 I have full 40 pvp gear, 1000 merc comms and about 150 wz comms atm... do I just waste comms on stuff while I wait for 50? ( and yes, I have 1 purple bag already). Lame. Swijr

^ This At 40 I have Assault maxed and with Incendiary round, plastique and the other "on the run" shots (hammer and impact) I'm kiting the points very well. I plan to do either a 3/7/31 or 0/10/31 build for end game. I'll have to see how they pan out. While I'm not a DPS monster (because I'm not trying to be honest) I am a flag and bomb interrupter to the max. And delaying the capture of points wins matches honestly. Now, in an open PVP area, it'll probably be a different story. But I'm happy with my slows and stuns and think both Gunnery and Assault maximize the class for all environments (and it's just a personal pref at end game). However, I could be wrong. Swijr

I just hit 40 last night and got the capstone skill in Assault (Plastique) and it's awesome. Another on the run attack (even though it shares the cool down with the sticky grenade). Assault has a great DOT with Incendiary Round (fire dot) which is essential in PVP to stop people from capping points on Alderan and planting bombs on Voidstar. The slows that you get with hammershot when mixed with a burning target is great too. I'm definitely a fan. I just need to figure out what other skills I'll use at this point. Swijr
