  1. Imperial credits are accepted everywhere Republic credits are.
  2. He does. Nothing direct, but Corso does flirt with the lady smuggler from very early on and [Flirt] prompts appear from the very first companion conversation with him up until 9k or so affection.
  3. They've been around in Star Wars a lot longer than that, actually. The first gay characters in Star Wars were a couple of happily married Mandalorian men in one of the old books, then Juhani and Belaya in Knights of the Old Republic.
  4. You're walking into a hornets nest that's already seen your argument, debated it at length, and seen Bioware say "No, a toggle to turn off same-sex romance is discrimination and we will not do it." I'm sure you'll manage to survive the whole four or five NPCs in the entire game who you can flirt with as the same sex. Go back to hiding under a bridge and menacing passing billy goats.
  5. You certainly can, just don't click the clearly labeled [Flirt] prompt. This is a game where you can torture innocents, rape women, slaughter thousands of civilians, and sell people into slavery. If homosexuality is what pushes the game over the line into unacceptable territory for you, then perhaps this game is not for you. Bioware has already addressed your suggestion at length in previous threads and has firmly stated that they will never add such a feature.
  6. Yes, you are trolling, and Bioware has already stated at length that there will never be such an option. You have the choice to not click the dialogue options labeled [Flirt].
  7. No, that was an exaggeration. The only times Corso has left the ship after I got Bowdaar were when I went to Tatooine and Balmorra for his personal quests, and hops on Yavin 4 and the fleet to give him presents. I'm just saying Corso feels like the kind of guy who posts a huge manifesto on the Star Wars equivalent of reddit or 4chan about how the most perfect woman in the galaxy keeps ignoring the most perfect guy for her.
  8. Finished Corso's affection arc on my lady smuggler this morning, and thankfully there aren't any flirt prompts in the last couple of conversations. Seriously, though, he feels like a Nice Guy who writes on the Star Wars version of reddit about how he's such a nice guy and a red pill and that ice cold queen bee refuses to see him for the great guy that he is the worthess whore and what could she possibly see in Lemda Avesta or Lana Beniko when the perfect guy is already on her ship and waiting for her.
  9. Yep, Corso's just standing out as very, very persistent about it. Doc is almost as bad about "Are you SURE you don't want to romance this guy?" Even Torian ended in "[flirt]" or "Screw off, you idiot loser." Some of the men take rejection gracefully, but Corso's gives me Nice Guy creeps. Going to dump him off without hesitation in the expansion if I can.
  10. Still, same-sex romances can't come fast enough. I'm working on the rest of my lady smugger's crew affection, and despite turning him down every single time my smuggler still gets flirt prompts with Corso at 8k affection.
  11. That's my theory. Vitiate/Valkorion doesn't want an empty galaxy, he wants an entire galaxy if not the entire universe remade in his image, and the first step is wiping the board clear of potential threats. The dude basically wants to be God.
  12. Meh. More powerful people than Nox have thought they could dispose of Cipher Nine. They were wrong, too, and it's not like Nox doesn't get chumped repeatedly in their class story. And now one of primary sources of deus ex machina is gone. Two for Darth Imperius, who's a far better character anyway.
  13. The "X number of slots, pick your companions" option is what I'm expecting, maybe with a quest attached to each choice. Say, Lana or Theron rescues you and gets you through the expansion intro, then says you need to rebuild your network of allies and contacts and gives you a bunch of dossiers. Worked well as a framing device in ME2 and could work well here.
  14. And probably the love interests. Every Skadge in existence is probably getting mighty nervous, though.
  15. In my opinion it's also meaningless in most cases, given that Catwoman is Batman's designated primary love interest most of the time and saying "she's actually bi" reeks of catering to young male readers. Same thing for the comics that give Harley Quinn an on-again off-again relationship with Poison Ivy: she's the Joker's love interest, and DC's not fooling anyone. It's a sweet scene that I like to imagine faded to black with Risha going "I never thought I'd ever feel attracted to a woman, but..." Akavi's max affection scene, on the other hand, ends in her going "Nothing will ever bring my clan back, but this? This is kinda close."
  16. Eh, let Nox find out. Wouldn't be the first Dark Council member Cipher Nine has defeated. Or even the second.
  17. If the latest datamining is accurate...
  18. Personally, in addition to Kaliyo I strongly suspect Risha will be a bisexual romance option in the expansion if they add that feature. People like to talk about Akaavi because she's butch, but she talks about an ex boyfriend a lot and more importantly Risha damn near gets on her knees and proposes to a lady smuggler who maxes her affection, talking about how the smuggler has become such an important part of her life and how whenever Risha tries to imagine the future the lady smuggler is always in it.
  19. It's what people call your PC in the expansion so they only have to record one voice line rather than a bunch of different ones for addressing your PC as Jedi, Sith, hunter, agent, soldier, etc.
  20. I'm guessing it means the current Dread Masters learned their abilities from someone else, either directly or through teachings an ancient master of fear left behind.
  21. Cracked.com did an article about this a few months ago, in fact. Sure, there are gay/bi people in Star Wars... but they're almost universally Sith (Lord Cytharat, Lana), work for Sith (The moff lady in the latest book, a male Mandalorian couple in an older book), have been/can become Sith (Juhani and her ex girlfriend in KOTOR), or are morally ambiguous spies (Theron). Lemda Avesta is the only gay/bi person in all of Star Wars to date who isn't generally considered a bad guy and can't become one. All of my ladies are LS as well, and so here's hoping for a like-minded chance at love for them.
  22. The Republic and Hutts probably adapted their tactics before then, and Pyron only told you about it on Rishi. Or his fleet was busy elsewhere and unavailable for Makeb or Ilum. Either way, the game was never going to go "Oh wait you're a Sith Inquisitor excuse us while we solve the problems of this major story arc in a cutscene." It isn't going to happen in the expansion, either. I think at most the Doombringer might make a brief cameo, but if a Silencer is ever employed in the expansion story it's either going to be made available to all classes or at most it will show up for Inquisitors and everyone else will enjoy the benefits of a comparable superweapon like the Desolator or Gauntlet.
  23. Specifically, the Silencer turns out to have not been that game-changing a weapon after all. Fleet-killing superweapons aren't a shocking new development for the Empire or Republic and after a few victories won by Silencers the Republic and other belligerents adapted their fleet tactics to negate the Silencers. You have a choice on Rishi between trying to make the Silencers more effective or accepting that that advantage is lost and not sink more resources into a weapon of marginal use. Either way, the Inquisitor's superweapon isn't super anymore and is unlikely to feature in the future. Pyron's fleet will probably be destroyed or otherwise negated in the expansion.
  24. Likewise for my bounty hunter, but... I really hope we get more options than Lana. Lana's nice and all, but I'd hate to be locked into one romance option for all my characters. Here's hoping some of the returning lady companions get their gaydar fixed, or there's at least one more bi or gay woman out there looking to join the Outlander. My trooper would likewise be satisfied with Theron, but he'd be interested to see what the options are first.
  25. Very minor. The one helps you out in a couple stories and offhandedly mentions her spouse as "she", and in one of the new missions she shows up again briefly with her wife. Also, don't bother. The game's gone completely to crap since Delta Rising turned it into a pay to win grindfest.
