  1. Nope, they're just that good. I actually prefer playing a non-Force class in this expansion for that reason. No Force sensitivity, yet you blow a gaping hole in Valkorion's sternum, almost take Arcann's arm off with one shot, and Arcann himself addresses the Imperial Agent with more respect than he does any other class in Chapter 1: the Agent is a master of subterfuge who has found and broken powers that thought themselves invisible and invulnerable, particularly to mere mundanes. Arcann notes that he'd be a fool not to be wary of bringing such a person into Zakuul. He doesn't have the same respect for any other class. I'd say go Imperial Agent.
  2. Nope. You're thinking of Lemda, who is bisexual. Lord Cytharat is the one and only gay person of either gender in all of The Old Republic.
  3. And in any event, there are four people in KOTFE you can flirt with. Two of each gender.
  4. Also, one new bi character is hardly "everyone is bi." Koth is bisexual, and that is it. Women can flirt with Senya, but it's very, very mild and she doesn't react to it like flirtation at all. Beyond that, Vaylin accuses you of having a crush on her regardless of your gender, but she's a complete lunatic and is more than likely just messing with the PC and taunting them.
  5. She's not a companion. And by the way, "females" are called "women."
  6. I think you can have a fling with Theron in SoR, you just can't pick it back up in KOTFE.
  7. Yes. Women can flirt with Senya at one point, but it leads nowhere.
  8. I'm being dead serious. The only new companions who aren't cardboard cut-outs are the ones we've seen before. KOTFE is not bad, but it isn't very good either.
  9. Correct. Locking in the Theron, Lana, or Koth (new guy) romances - and the game warns you when you're about to do so - terminates any existing romance you've previously had.
  10. If you romance someone new in KOTFE, you'll get an email from your jilted ex confirming the breakup.
  11. For good and for ill, notably the very rushed pace leading to shallow characterization. I've been through KOTFE's story twice now and I still can't tell you more than one or two things about any character or setting element because that's all the story has time to show.
  12. Story and characters are good, but it's far too rushed. You're barely given time to think about any plot development or character before you're whisked off to the next event. The ending and current present of KOTFE after completion of the story is interesting, but there's no sense of earning it. KOTFE isn't bad at all, but the pacing is awful.
  13. Ran across a random gay NPC in the story. If you're LS and spare a certain guy's life, he sends you an email that he's thankful you let him go home to his husband.
  14. The Zakuul are from the Rishi Maze, a dwarf galaxy above the plane of the ecliptic for the Star Wars galaxy. Point is, they're a mysterious force from outside known space with fantastical technology that attacks without warning, ruins everyone's day, conquers much of the galaxy, and you have to slowly work to break their hold on the galaxy and throw them back out beyond the galaxy's horizon. Which is pretty much your suggestion.
  15. That's pretty much what Zakuul does in KOTFE: appear from outside the known galaxy with technology far more advanced than anything the rest of the galaxy has, wrecks everyone's business for giggles, occupies a handful of random planets, and sits back to laugh about it.
  16. Notes about SGR in my experience so far with KOTFE. I'm not done with the story yet, though. * Lana was only present for two LS/DS choices so far (the story switches which companion is mandatory very frequently) and both LS choices met with her disapproval. There have been a few opportunities to flirt with her again, one late in the story leading to a kiss. * There is a new story-mandated female companion I had one opportunity to flirt with. I didn't take it as my warrior was remaining faithful to Lana, and I have a hunch it wouldn't lead anywhere due to who the character in question is, but it was present. * There's a new male companion I also had repeated opportunities to flirt with. Was playing a female character so I don't know if male PCs also get the option. I've only run into three old companions in the story so far, none were romanceable by either gender before and no chance to flirt with them now.
  17. Mercy and compassion are far more dangerous weapons than some would admit. Lana in game terms does seem to be full-bore DS in KOTFE, which is a significant disappointment.
  18. Which is well and good except in the streams on Zakuul she's strongly in favor of killing thousands of innocent people, murdering people who attacked you for understandable reasons and then surrendered, etc.
  19. I know what you're talking about, but at every other turn seen so far, she's firmly DS.
  20. Like she was on Ziost. Personally, I suspect either her writer changed or someone upstairs at Bioware went "A reasonable, level-headed Sith?! Can't have that!" See also the strong probability that Darth Marr dies in this expansion's opening.
  21. I'm in favor of more OGR romances. And more SGR romances (and SGR romances, period). Here's hoping there's at least one or two same-sex only romances, though, like Talos or LS Jaesa.
  22. None as I recall. I think it was just "Oh btw you can flirt with these characters regardless of gender." As it is, I really hope we have more options than just Lana and Theron in KOTFE given that in all the streams Lana's been full-bore DS.
  23. None of mine are in relationships at present due to lack of people with compatible orientation. Here's hoping KOTFE will reveal it's just a case of faulty gaydar rather than sticking them with one option that's the same for them all.
  24. Considering some of the races and groups that are allied with the Empire, even odds Ravage being an arrogant jerk wins him points as a diplomat. Mandalore and a bunch of the warlike aliens probably appreciate someone they can talk straight with. I don't blame him for being impatient with Darth Imperius, either, given how short most tenures on the Dark Council are. Marr, Vowrawn, and Ravage are supposed to be notable oddities for how they've lasted decades on the Council, long enough to be considered fixed and reliable leadership.
