  1. I'm shocked. I would have declined too.
  2. Bounty Hunter gets no force using companions (I would assume the same for a trooper then too).
  3. ROFL, thanks............ I just had pepsi come out my nose. >Go North > You have been killed by a grue
  4. If these graphics are 1998, then WOW is a text based game.
  5. I like the Bayonet idea, especially if it gave the weapon a visual appearance of it on also.
  6. ^^^^^ This. I loved the video review I think Gamespot did, they played "extensively", but didn't even know the sides: Red Side Horde and Blue Side Alliance they called it.
  7. I heard he is going to be coming back, while riding on Onyxia!
  8. Maybe Bioware is taking a page from Blizzard's playbook and he really isn't dead!
  9. Very true, I do like getting the "follow up" mails from people though after a mission is completed though. Funny ready below for BH class:
  10. Ugh, I hate when people tried to tout this game as a "WOW Killer". It never could. Its a totally different genre. Some people like Swords, Shields, and Wizards over Space and Sci-fi. Heck, even GW2 isn't going to be a WOW killer.
  11. You didn't make any choices in Icecrown Citadel though that affected the area. You did a quest, flew to turn in quest, flew back to do the next quest and you were in a different phase in the area. You made no "choices" besides deciding to turn in the quest or not. I especially loved having mining nodes that were in a different phase than I was.
  12. I can see the same, with the same type of hangars based on Class too. I'd love to see a JTL type space game. Space PVP would be awesome too.
  13. I felt the same about WOW. Everyone has different opinions.
  14. Yes, it would be cool if Bioware made it so that you can sit in chairs (not every chair is "sittable" in WOW either). BG music in WOW is better than SWTOR. BUT, I was just talking about the comparison between SWTOR Cantinas and WOW Inn's. There's a lot more going on for the SWTOR side. Even for a 100 credits you could request a song from a list. WOW doesn't have any performers, musicians, etc inside there inns and bars. Heck, even SWTOR has people sitting at the bar drinking (granted, you can't click or do anything with them, but they are there). Heck, I would figure Ironforge would have bigger Inn's-Bars than SW, where's all the Dwarfs drinking? Sure, you could also click on NPC's in WOW and they say the same 7 things to cycle through. SWTOR - you can't even target them. But the NPC's in SWTOR do far more activities than the NPC's in WOW. WOW - birds flying overhead. SWTOR - starships, stardestroyers, dog fights, etc. I'd say both are equal. Dynamic weather and day/night - WOW wins. Non-existant in SWTOR (minus a blizzard on Hoth or rain on DK). Too say SWTOR is lifeless though, is pretty far fetched. Personally, I would have liked to see a different "hub" than the Fleet Locations. (the center cantina i love at least, love the music that has the sax in it too!).
  15. Blizzard introduced a voice speak program into there game, its complete garbage and nobody uses it. Same would happen here. i use Mumble, it was super easy to setup and sounds great too.
  16. If you look around in SWTOR, you will see things. There are far more NPC's doing things in game than in WOW. Inns, stores, etc ALL LOOK THE SAME IN WOW. every Inn has the same design. There is nothing in the Inns (well, besides being able to sit in a chair). Where's the Music, heck, they should at least do something like Skyrim and have a person playing an intrument. I walked into a Cantina in SWTOR, the bartender waved to me. There's people dancing. There's holo dancers. Whats going on in the Inns and Bars in WOW? NOT ONE THING. The Church in SW? NO ONE MOVES IN IT. You have the same 3 people standing up by the Altar, the same trainers standing around, etc. The Guards just stand around too, minus the 1 or 2 walking around patrolling. Heck, a single enemy mob can wreck the city. IF? Awesome, glad the gates rock! Otherwise its completely lifeless. Maybe a bot or 2 in the city because everyone is in SW. So, when I try GW2, I am going to stare at the ground for 30 minutes and say the world is lifeless .
  17. As much as I'd like to see that, I'm realistic and that will never happen. Its technically impossible to do now. Heck, I had hundreds of different stacks of materials with different stats when I was an Armorsmith in SWG.
  18. I saw a bunch of empty towns with villagers standing around doing nothing. Mobs standing around doing nothing. The scenery doesn't look any better or worse than SWTOR, the cut scenes with the ships, is that actual gameplay or cut scenes in the game? I didn't see any day/night or weather either. the game sounds cool though.
  19. I spent more time juggling my inventory around I think than questing. I got bored after 2 weeks in Skyrim.
  20. As a consumer, if something is bad, I stop buying it. I don't keep purchasing it in the hopes it will improve.
  21. It goes on in every MMO forum. The funny thing, all the people saying GW2 is going to amazing, are going to be let down and saying the same thing. The bars and Inns in WOW don't even have music in them. At least the little junk Cantinas at least have a jukebox in SWTOR.
  22. I'm actually the only objective one in the thread and who actually LOOKED around. NPC's in WOW all stand around, they all run through the same 6 sayings when you click them, There is NO ONE ANYWHERE except in the Capital Cities. Does the Inns and bars in WOW have customers even in them? Nope. If the day/night cycle and rain are what keeps you playing other games, more power to you. I personally don't really care, its an extremely minor issue to me.
