  1. Jnight apparently doesn't read the entire thread. The reason I believe the current space missions are a waste of resources is because it is a shallow repetitive gameplay experience. There is little to no substance behind them. As I said in my previous post, I did enjoy them initially, but I haven't touched them in months. Why? They aren't very fun to play over and over again for crappy rewards. Also 8 minutes is a little too long for such a simple mini game. 8 minutes is the length of the last imperial space mission which rewards you with a whopping 2 daily comms.
  2. I have seen multiple thread on here with multiple pages of players talking about how disappointed they are int he current space content. I'm not saying the on-rails is bad or that I never enjoyed them, because at one point I did enjoy them. They were a nice mini-game and break in the questing monotony. But since hitting 50 and especially since the introduction of Black Hole comms I haven't touched the on-rails missions. Can BW get me to play them again by offering Black Hole comms to do them? Sure. But I would rather them use those resources on providing a more in depth gaming experience or even better mini games such as Sabaac or pod racing.
  3. In the F2P Q&A Damion Schubert answered a question with this: I honestly don't see the point in producing more content for a feature that most players aren't satisfied with. Why not just use those resources to give is a more in depth and meaningful space feature? To me, creating more on-rails space missions is just a waste of valuable resources.
  4. I dont just want dual spec. I want multi spec with the ability to have 3 or 4 specs. I know on my merc I could have a DPS and Healing spec for PVP and for PVE for a total of 4 specs. Another benefit of dual or multi spec over respec is that when the specs are saved and you are able to switch between them it also saves the button layout for your abilities. Currently every time I respec I have to move abilities around. Finally it would be nice if they added a gear manager along with multi spec so that we can swap gear much faster.
  5. I like the custom gear modding system that SWTOR currently uses. It is original and is one of the things that sets the game apart from others in its genre. It isn't perfect but it has improved with every patch. They need to do the following to make the system more viable though: 1. Reduce or eliminate the cost of removing mods 2. Add more variety orange gear to wear, especially modable belts and bracers 3. Add a dye system which would allow players specify a piece of gear's primary, secondary, and maybe tertiary colors( If there is a tertiary color in their color match system) 4. Add the ability to have hoods up or down 5. Add a zoom feature to the dressing room 6. Add the ability for color matching and dying to companion gear as well as showing head slots and hoods up or down 7. Add modable off hands for all classes, not just dual wielding classes
  6. It sounds like they need to optimize their SQL queries pertaining to requesting this stuff from their server.
  7. That does suck but maybe you can sell them on the neutral GTN to try and make some credits?
  8. I had the same problem. I solved it by vaccinating myself and then removing the vaccination buff and then getting reinfected.
  9. I agree with All of the Above. A couple of points: 1) When it comes to Operations, only make the tool available for Story Mode 2) If the tool is cross server, let the pairing search within the server first and then expand to preset groups of servers (So that the same server populations are always being pulled together) 3) Allow items to be traded between players that were eligable for the roll when it dropped in the same instance even if it is BoP for a limited time. 4) Give players tools for vote kicking rude/obnoxious players. 5) Make sure thee is some kind of gear/stat checking involved (Example: Needs a minimum of X average gear rating and minimum of x for their primary stat)
  10. LOL at this. I was there for AoC launch. That game was so borked at launch it was barely playable. SWTOR is lightyears ahead of AoC. It's not even close. AoC had no quest content past level 45 when max level was 80. They also kept making so many changes to all of the different classes too quickly, and I mean like twice a week. I was playing a ToS and they kept nerfing it over and over and over to the point where I oculdn't solo grind mobs for XP.
  11. I am a bit confused by your post... From all of the videos and reports I have read/saw on the UI customization, you ARE able to stack all of the quickbars under eachother. Can someone please correct me if I am wrong?
  12. Every character on the same server will share the same legacy name but there are settings that let you decide if you want to display that legacy name and how you want to display it. For example if your character's name was "Jim" and your legacy name is "Smith" you can choose to display just "Jim" or you can display "Jim Smith" or you can display it as "Jim" with "The Smith Legacy" underneath. Also you don't have to link all or any of your characters in the new "Family Tree" interface if you don't want to.
  13. Wow this is the second whine post I saw from you today so I went ahead and checked out your post history. Big surprise that every one of your posts is negative and whiney. Take a chill pill and enjoy the positives every once in a while instead of harping on every little thing.
  14. Actually the Legacy system was the most hyped up part of this patch. I mean the Patch is called "Legacy" not "Ranked PVP: Preseason"
  15. I don't know if we will get LFG but I think I remember reading somewhere (maybe one of the Q&As) an allusion to Multi-spec and gear manager in 1.3.
