  1. Also, with everyone running accuracy on their BM sets people actually have a 5% chance to land stuff on you through force shroud.... still makes them a bad player for trying it... or not noticing.

I agree with this, splitting between lethality and medicine is stupid (other than the +9% cunning) Slip away is better than Incisive action. and if you go the other way I "hear" they are better than t1 in lethatlity (however I think this splits our role focus *shrug*) which may suit your playstyle more. I run slip away as well, since that makes our 4s stun to be on a CD that is 1/2 of any other class giving us some kind of "niche" to fill.
  3. Just because a piece says war hero does not mean it will increase your damage more. A bunch of the enforcer pieces (as an example) will lower your overall damage due to the mods and enhancements that come with the piece. Also buy a war hero critical piece replacing a battlemaster power piece will also lower your "damage". Be careful with what you buy.

When you have teams of "hoperatives" laughing around you and healing while running it does upset people greatly, and given that they have measurable statistics that this makes people unsubscribe it is quite obvious that the "hops" should get the nerf. I'm thinking that everytime they buff or heal they give themselves a 2 second root, BRILLIANT!
  5. Well if you had stocked up on the previous tier of power mods you can still use those as the damage is still greater, but yes get all ze boots!
  6. Acid blade application self buff, and Acid Blade armor pen self buff both have the same icon. after you hit your target it becomes the armor penetration and will not re-apply/refresh the dot and armor pen buff. I was confused too as they are the exact same icon.
  7. I think I would hate it more if we didn't have the choice to apply it, my energy rotation would be so messed.

Armorings, 6x WH Power Surge Mods (41 pow, 53 surg, debating lowering this and taking acc/alac), 4x +39 Power mods, 2x +39 Crit Mods, Power Color Crystal, WH Barrel. Which should give the above mentioned stats with all datacrons founds. As I have said this is only a "tentative" idea and who knows, my numbers could be off due to a miscalc somewhere. Crit % from cunning is not linear at all, it uses a similar formula to what crit rating uses with different numbers. The theoretical cap from this is 30% contribution from Crit rating, and 30% from cunning with 5 base and 4 % from hard bonus' (then additions from specific skill +crit chance) which means you can theoretically get 69% crit, however this is not even going to happen due to how the formulas are set up. Basically what this means is that your contribution from cunning will actually give you over your estimates for 2k cunning (much more).   11. Look its the Rhakgoul Plague. But in all seriousness you should not see numbers like this often unless its a stalemate (and voidstar). I mostly see high numbers in PuGs due to premades ending that game at a much faster pace.
  12. My thoughts are that the catch determination for CC/Mez/etc is being taken at the wrong time, when the initial pass is made. I have the same experience with stuns, and have made this assumption.
  13. stats Currently my crit is slightly lower than I want it to be, however this is only because my gear is not optimized as I am transitioning from BM to WH. with one more augment it will most likely be "on the mark" or very close to it. If your argument is going to be "your crit is too high" or something similar to that, for ANY value of crit with that talent you will be able to gain an additional power mod. Fact is that it is still an important skill (I know people got upset that it used to be 6), even though it has been nerfed. I would be pleased if you could open my eyes about why your spec will increase burst damage (our class role) over the "tried and true" spec.
  14. I actually think we will get nerfed again, I hit a guy in full pve gear for 6.2k obviously this warrants a nerf as I am only in WH gear.
  15. Not going too in depth about it, but losing the 3% crit talent would mean the need to take 3% additional crit through gear. meaning one mod will transfer from power to crit (39 Power loss). This is significant loss to Bonus Damage (tech). Also spec'n into adrenaline probe for 16 additional energy every 2 mins can also be viewed as wasted points. which pretty much equates to an extra shiv. over two mins you can get 20 "shivs", damage wise this will still come up short for losing the shiv talent ... 20 attacks + 1 free shiv is "21", 20 shivs at a bonus of 8% dmg is 21.6. I'm not saying your spec is "wrong" but I wouldn't call the focus of your spec concealment DPS, as you are avoiding increasing it on purpose. Perhaps Concealment survival is more appropriate.
  16. the > sign means "greater than" no need to add another "then" but fixing the english is another thing. Now for "serious" things. Sins damage reduction for entering dark charge is 5% less damage... on melee abilities and since the tree focus' mainly on force abilities this does not affect them. I am also assuming you are talking about warzones only for higher damage numbers at the games end, simply put this is a combination between their survivability (being able to live longer) and aoe damage caused by wither. Their single target damage is horrible and drawn out, don't put much faith into the "damage done" category as there are more factors involved than are being advertised. *Sin used as an example, but pretty much tank dps has to do more with how much they live than how much they hit for, scroll over the damage done section and look at their "biggest hit" which will usually be around 2.5-3k.
  17. Wall sitting is closer and faster, or sitting on the drop down point up top... I think the only solution is teams of operatives stun locking the nodes, but that would lead to another nerf for the class so don't do it!
  18. Anything not human is good in my books. I chose a Rat... Bald white female body type 1.... maximum piercings + super scarred face. I think she fits the roll just fine. My Sniper is chiss though, Body type 4 male, mohawk with the sideburns I named him Winded and walk around with "the heartless" title.
  19. Pretty much this, I have a few alts still in the lowbie brackets and I cringe every time I get brave enough to enter a war zone on them. I have done the story lines too many times now and they are no longer engaging as they once were so I "try" to enter wz's for fun. However playing with people who don't have a clue how to play, run the wrong way in huttball, and do all sorts of other stupid things like leave a node "just because I was bored". These are things that ACTUALLY HAPPEN in the lowbie bracket. I have fun when there is an actual close competition that there feels like some sort of accomplishment for winning or losing. When you make rivalries with other guilds/players over time, this to me, is why war zones are fun. For some people this "rush" is from racing other people to kill raid bosses, my approach is just a little more direct to my opponent (right through the rib cage!).
  20. So... play for an extra day and you will have a new piece with the upgraded mods? Seriously this is such a minor issue its laughable, of all the things to quit over you chose something that could be remedied by just a little bit more effort on your part. Please just reword the thread and with "WH IZ TO HARD" or "Rateds not in game yet" for a better justification for your leaving.
  21. When people were saying "stop running around solo versus an operative and they wont own you" in the glory days this argument was invalid. But since marauder doesn't have stealth and can 1v2 this is a completely solid defense of the class.
  22. I created one of these the other day, however there are only two concealment operatives on my server. so I brought a tanksin and heallocking operative. Terrible terrible damage occurred. The most hilarious thing was on alderaan taking a node from 3 defenders only using sap abilities...

    Wait.. 3 sent/rauders on a single healer? and somehow the healer is allowed to get a heal off with 3 characters having a 6 sec CD interupt? what kind of bads are these?

Noticing this a lot on my Operative, Vanishing for a Hidden strike and then sitting there like and idiot only to be pulled out by the first aoe because ... the ability is tired and wants a break. Also found similar issues with backstab, and defensive cooldowns. Also noticing elongated times for leaving combat, also started paying attention to my radar and seeing no red dots to keep me in combat but still combat locked, and another way random people entering combat with me when I sit safely on the other side of the map (I think this one has to do with buffing). Also Vanish does not always remove you from combat so you leave sluggishly and if you drop stealth to use your regen "whoops" not going to work.
