  1. The whole Lightning vs. Rocks debate is balanced out by the Dark Side making you stupid. Just think. Slaughter Jedi children you could train into force-sensitive enforcers in order to help better establish the Empire? Dark Side. Kill man who is still very useful to you? Dark Side. Disobey direct orders from a higher-up and kill a man you were not supposed to? Dark Side.
  2. Except it was society pressuring Lucas to have the good guys win in the end... It was his story that he wanted to make... Hence, other SW authors and storymakers followed said tradition. My question is, why so butthurt about it? Sith, if they were in reality, would have been wiped out purely on account of backstabbing one another... Huh?
  3. Behold Star Wars tradition for good to triumph over Evil that basically sends the Sith to the loser's circle each time. Want evil to be in charge? Here's um... Uh... Other fictional universes...
  4. Let's just call them People. That'll tick them off.
  5. We make our own fun. We are used to not having teh game developer make our games for us, and so, we are better with keeping on-track with Bioware's apparent "slowness" with new content. Hence, we are much more contented with the game. Bioware was trolling us in that case... That and the two Casinos on Nar Shadaa with minimal usage...
  6. Actually no, reverse. The male Zabrak says that revenge is not in line with Jedi teachings, while the girl says, "Let's get back at them." Winner: Female
  7. I think the reason is for this is that for Dark - Republic and Light - Empire, they need a reason to the right thing. "Why would a Sith do this?" "Well, it's in the interests of the Empire." and on the Republic needs a reason to do the wrong thing. "Why would a Trooper do this?" "Well, it's pragmatic and gets the job done faster/better/easier."
  8. Your point is valid about the emotes, but a lot of your list is in game. I believe you can do this. Sadly Mirilian-only... My Smuggler must be breaking his back with as much as I've had him doing this... I use this all the time. Kid of wish we did have multiple sitting positions. The lounging position we have now is a bit silly. Silly oversight on Bioware's point. But yeah. Wait, flip as in flip off, or flip as in flipping in the air? This would be cool. Well, Smugglers can do this. I just use /flex for this. /ponder does this, you scratch your beard/chin when you do it too. (epic. ) How would this be represented in the game? We do have this, they are different between Republic and Empire.
  9. Okay. So I have been wondering something. I've found that when playing my Smuggler to 50, I enjoyed the Light-Dark system immensely despite being Light III a little ways into 50. I have found that doing Light Side vs. Dark Side decisions is a very tough deal in some cases Republic side, especially if you actually try to make your character DS. For example... Ord Mantell story spoiler Coruscant Gree Series spoiler Tython spoiler Meanwhile... In the Empire... Revanite Story Spoiler Black Talon spoiler Taris world arc spoiler
  10. And... Only real argument that holds ground.
  11. Only one I've done to 50: Smuggler. 8/10 - Had fun with it. I believe that it could have been done better, but it was an interesting and overall pretty funny story. It was solid all the way through, and had moments when the story, particularly the humor aspect, shined. It really does give off that "reluctant hero" feel, even if you do go lightside as a Smuggler. Chapter 1 was fun, going around on my personal vendetta, killing plenty of people along the way... Skavak was the perfect enemy for the Smuggler. Chapter 2 was a bit lamer, like I was kind of forced into a plot that some Smugglers would have no reason to have joined into. Chapter 3 makes up for it though, with a twist I didn't expect, and the Voidwolf, once you actually meet him, is a pretty good foil for a Smuggler. Currently finishing up Chapter 2 on my BH... 8/10 - Also a good story, I'd say overall, especially with companions, it's more well-done than the Smuggler. But there were points were the people who wrote it really dropped the ball. However, the story itself is interesting enough, even if Chapter 1's ending was predictable. So far, wrapping up Chapter 2 and I really do not like it all that much... Doesn't seem to have a point beyond "run around and kill people". I am hoping Chapter 3 is better.
  12. Have you done the initial Black Hole questline starting at the Fleet? I believe that's required for the dailies.
  13. People dream of exploring the Amazon because of what they may find, new plants, animals, ancient civilizations... Last I checked, not very many people have dreamed of exploring the Sahara Desert.
  14. I can't say I would be opposed to some of the artifacts from SWG being implemented into SWTOR, just a lot of it does not sound very feasible and/or meant for this type of game.
  15. Pretty much. It's why I tend to not get too involved in the PVE/PVP communities all that much, the sheer amount of, "Do this Bioware!" "To that Bioware!" "We must rise up against the evil Bioware monarchic-communist-dictator-fascists and make them give in to our demands!" Okay... Maybe it's not that big a deal, but I think I got my point across.
  16. So, the Republic wins in its own backyard? Whew. If the Empire had won on Corellia, that would basically spell D-O-O-M for the Republic in the next few xpacs. Why? Just think... 1. So many Corellian ships at their disposal 2. Many of the galaxy's best spacers/outlaws on one planet... 3. An easy launching point that would allow the Empire to seize the Coreward Worlds, and dismantle the Republic. By letting the Republic win, Bioware gives the Republic that, "Hey! We just pushed back Evil!" feel that Star Wars needs, while making the Empire feel, "Eh... We lost one offensive. It ain't the end of the Galaxy." in the war on Corellia, the Republic had a ton more at stake than the Empire did.
  17. Chapter 3 Smuggler Spolier. The Voidwolf was also a good villain. Gave my Smuggler that "reluctant hero" feel that I was looking for.
  18. So did Obi Wan's little "These are not the droids you are looking for" stunt in ANH give him +50 DS points?
  19. Which is good. They are more focused on fixing stuff and making real content instead of making "for teh lulz" events.
  20. I would have to bring an Ewok. If they are able to bring down an entire Imperial Legion while losing only one Ewok, I am sure he could do some damage in a bar fight. Obi Wan didn't die, he became One with the Beard. Here's how the dialogue went... Obi Wan: Strike me down, and I will become more powerful than you could ever imagine. Darth Vader: ****! I KEEL U RAWWWWRR! LIGHTSAVER TO DA FAAAAASE! Obi Wan: *Disappears* Vader: *Swings his blade at an empty robe.* Obi Wan: Trololololololololololololololol, one with the beard n00by n00by n00blet lolz. ps, im nekkid Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  21. Have you watched the most recent ones? Like the Cathar Slavers story arc? There was one scene, a slave tried to kill the queen-type-lady of the Cathar with a knife, but failed, and instead of being taken back into custody, she committed suicide by jumping off of a balcony. It's aimed at kids, but I will say that it has gotten better in the whole "Saturday Morning Cartoon" regard (which.. Isn't it technically?)
  22. "Dying wasn't on my agenda for today" is one of my favorite lines. Especially when followed by, "eh, I wasn't planning on living forever anyways." /Smuggler
  23. Yeah... Wait, it got screw- Oh, you mean FORUM RP... Right...
