  2. Some choice quotes: "There is a faction of meatbags called the Sith. They want what any rational meatbag would want – the power to assassinate anyone they choose at any time." "Droids tend to blend into the background, like a bench or a card table. Mockery: Droid, fetch this. Droid, translate that. Droid, clean out the trash compactor. Part of the love of my function comes when the ‘furnishings’ pull out tibanna-powered rifles and point them at the owners' heads." "As a meatbag would say: 'I have a bad feeling about this.'"
  3. Eh wouldn't have said anything but you did said technically
  4. d'oh didn't see the developer tracking! Damn, wonder how much i can get when they fix this then...
  5. My average return on lockboxes are +200+1000 credits on a 20 minute return. Usually run moderate level 5s and 6s or abundant 5s. That plus nodes plus selling the missions and schematics I get (usually get one per pass) means in the last two weeks from slicing alone (not counting mats sold on the GTN for bio and scav as I'm a pure crafter, pvp, and missions) usually nets me 200-300k profit on the weekends. So not really seeing an overnerf here. In fact going pure gathering this is the first time I've actually had profit on one of my PCs, since as a crafter I'd go broke just keeping myself equipped.
  6. I saw this on the Taris World Boss pre-1.2.
  7. Technically you'd be completely incorrect. Social Armor is armor that requires a social rank pre-req to wear (Social 1 or higher). I don't remember offhand if the containment armor requires a social rank. If it does, it's social armor, if it doesn't it's just light orange armor (Event Armor)?
  8. I know. Sorta like what would happen if a *real* plague hit. Makes it fun.
  9. Hmmm... Nope. Patently untrue. I play a Shadow infiltration/off tank when doing WZs (Tanking if needed for objectives and medal farming in the beginning of the WZ). I used WSAD. I'm consistently in the top 3 for both medals and Damage Done. Sometimes even near the top for protection if we don't have dedicated tanks. And most groups I'm in usually win. So yeah. You don't have have HAVE to mouse turn.
  10. Or you can do about 50 quick runs through Boarding Party and make a few million (9-11 minute runs) in 9 hours. Or you can do both, and make double the cash as they aren't mutually exclusive. Either way, the QQs about this astound me since it's a viable enough way to make quick cash.
  11. Weird. I just MADE 6000 in 8 hours time. Personal anecdotes are personal, wot?
  12. Fixed that for you in underlined. Note: I use slicing. Post nerf? I still use it. And have no problems whatsoever.
  13. 12.15.2011 Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Early Game Access: Ready to play 11.02.2011 Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Early Game Access: Ready to patch 10.24.2011 Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Collector's Edition Pre-Order So it looks like Wave 1 has almost all of October in it!
  14. Same here on the "in process". Course I did a store pickup, so as long as it's THERE on Tuesday it'll be fine. I wouldn't be able to play before the time I'd be picking it up regardless...
  15. Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades
  16. Nope. Can't quite say I'm envious. Just saying I find it to be wasteful. To which, again, your money. At least the OP pointed out valid potential concerns rather than get testy when asked why they were doing something which could easily be considered a waste of money.
  17. No I believe it. Though I can see the second point more, since I'm currently planning to run through all the storylines eventually... Good thing we don't have to do that for this game.
  18. So instead of... getting friends, you decided to pay more money to do it all yourself? I see. hrm, thanks.
  19. What the heck is World first? Wait, I don't think I want to know...
  20. Such as? Sorry, still new to the genre. Don't see how having 10 pc's on a single server makes it worthwhile to pay an extra 15 bucks or more a month, plus the initial game fees. I'm not trolling, I'm actually curious as to the thought process behind it.
  21. One COULD. But there's also a counterargument to it, to wit the entertainment value over a single game vs. no games. Two copies of what amounts to the same game? That seems a waste. But I mean it's your money, and thanks for stimulating the economy and all, I guess.
  22. Yeah because we give a crap how good some mouth breather's macros are set in WoW make him knowledgeable about all mmorpgs
