Not all of us are die hard players. I have been playing since early access and I have yet a lvl 50. I imagine there are many people stranded out on the dying worlds. That would all continue to play given the chance to transfer characters. It should be free, and freely available. If the name exists on another server, just prompt to change the dang name. Losing your name is a lot easier to deal with than having to redo the all the content. And that IMO is what is going to kill this game. No server transfers. I have been playing for months now to get my toons to where they are. Sure it may seem simple to forum commandos and die hard players to just roll another server and grind it to 50 in no time. Me? Its going to take 3 months or more to get 35. I don't want to be doing the same content over. Again.

I want to stay. I have 5 characters with my highest at 36. I have played since early access, so I am rather casual. I liked the game until the population dropped rather quickly on my server. So now I am rerolling, but not really enthusiastic about redoing the content.

Er, no. Those patch notes only say that "Ignore Player" is now on by default. Not that the "Ignore Player" feature was finally implemented. Your Google-Fu is weak.

This is honestly something that should be there by default, possibly even added automatically once you flag LFG.

Its China. They block a lot. Not sure why one would assume its BW/EA blocking China Almost none of my games can I play in China without a VPN. If you are an expat in China, you should be familiar with VPN's. I was using Ace VPN, but for some reason it wouldnt work with SWTOR. So not I use Astrill in SSL mode. Works great. VPN to Seattle or LA and I get 200-300ms ping to West Coast servers.

I was barely about to buy the speeder skill on most my characters. One waited until 30. And each time I level and I buy skills, I cringe.

I like the game. I am just wondering when the multiplayer patch comes out. I can deal with bugs, and things that havent been added and all that. The Flashpoints are awesome. Too bad I can hardly ever find someone to do them with. Nothing gives a great impression like getting through the starting world, get a quest for Esseles and then spending the next hour trying to find someone to do it with... And its probably easily fixed, yet they obviously want this single player feeling as it was this way on launch day too

That is pretty much how in works in any MMO PvP. Not sure what the problem is? Your solution would be what? That PvP is done without gear?

The problem is you are assuming that content creation is impeding bug fixing.

I have a 30 Shadow, 28 Scoundrel, 25 Trooper. I like the stories, and reading/listening to the quests. So I got no problem not being 50. I am enjoying the game for what it is, instead of rushing to find out what the endgame is like so I can come QQ on the forums.

Well if you consider what reverse engineering is, even in real life the results are random. I like what it is so far. :/

I haven't watch the video, 'cause honestly I am playing. But my main is a sawbones scoundrel, and I am having no problems with delays from when I hit the key to when the activation time starts to when the heal lands.

Dang, I was just looking this up. It would be nice to have 4 Repub, 4 Empire. That way all the trade skills are covered, and the story lines from both side are covered. To cover all the trades, now I have to play the same class twice... at least they allow the space bar.

WoW didnt create gamers where they didn't exist. It just happened to be the top MMO game at the time of many more people discovering computers. Frankly I don't care if its impressive or the #1. Just as long as its profitable enough for them to continue development. I never played WoW, but I did EQ. So for me at least, they didn't pull me.

Even have a customizable speeder like the ship, can setup "PvP" races. Even put up some bookies.

One of the things I would like to see, is medium and heavy armor from the vendors. Like for instance on Taris at the cantina... that death claw stuff looks sweet. The CE Republic Officer stuff looks sweet... all of it is pretty sweet looking. Too bad its only of use to light armor wearers.
