At this same time, WoW had huge server queues. The game crashed like crazy too. That is what happens at the release of an MMO. The've already explained that, and we've gotten up to 7 days free play time. Its not that big a deal, they said they are correcting it and they are. There will be new servers going up, there will be transfers, just as every other MMO has done to fix this.

This is pretty much it. I play. My wife does not. She has been gone for three days, but I had things to get done. The reason that I'm in queue right now instead of 10 hours ago is because I set my priorities, get things done and then play the game. Spend time with her, then play the game. When I've picked a guild, I've checked their raiding times to insure they would work with my schedule, with her schedule, with our schedule, and then play accordingly. This is not hard to do, but one has to be willing to put the game second to your marriage. many do not.

It's early entry. It's free time just for per-ordering. This is what happens at early entry. This is part of the prepping process. I'm in queue right now. I'm thinking great, I still got 6 days ahead of release. Half hour wait? Hour? Who cares.

Not true at all. Not even close to the wait times for even Wow. Not close to Rift either.

No you have not. Ulitma, Wow, DAoC, Rift, Anarchy on line, Asheron's call and on down the line, all had far more issues then this at launch. Wow was a disaster with extreme queues, world crashes, and instability. My guild has experience one lag spike since we have gotten in on the first day. Smooth as silk. You are whining over nothing, and now you are lying.

Last night my Wow server had 200 people on it. I'd call that dead.

Only problem I've seen with the game so far is people like this posting idiotic statements like this with zero knowledge or understanding. After being there for the beta and release of just about ever major game in the last 12 to 14 years, this, so far, has been the smoothest I've seen. There will be no catastrophy, there will only be the usual rants and whining that seem to come with every release.

They are making up for it be cheating people that ordered on dec 10th and expected to get in on day one of the Early access.*snicker*.

No, you are seeing it that way because you are all about you. You want to go to the head of the line when you showed up last. It is reward, you are acting selfish.

Somehow I believe that if they did just open the servers wide and had issues this guy would be on the boards yelling, "worst release evah". This is early access, not release. It is not a penalty to you, but a reward to those that ordered early. We all paid for what we got. Those that ordered early were rewarded for our investment. Those that ordered late are rewarded less. I got 6 days, you'll get less, but you chose your place in the queue, not them, and now you are attempting to blame them for your poor choice.

Yes, but in this case YOU chose your place in the queue, and are now complaining that they will not alter the entire plan, short change those that did order early, just because you feel entitled to special treatment. You ordered late, you get in late. There is not issue here, beyond "me, me, me". People amaze me.

Then you will be happy to know that they are being fair. They are slowly bringing their population up, and promised us that the sooner we per-ordered the sooner we would get in. It would not be "fair" to those of us that took the initiative to buy early if they let later purchasers on before us. You should have purchased earlier. Not seeing a problem with them, but your logic.
