I Know. LOL What is it with these people that are flipping out over this. It cost a lousy 15 bucks a month. Are they devoting their lives to it? Its a game. Its here for our entertainment. It is an MMORPG. The ship with a shell, then build from there. You can't buy a pizza and a beer these days for 15. LOL

You are correct. They are going for the big demographic, not the hard core player. What you are seeking is a shooter, not a MMORPG. Games like Everquest and Wow attempted to bring the genre in that direction. Seems we are heading back to what these games were intended to be. I'm good with that.

This is incorrect. The poster that you are quoting is correct. This game is not in a poor state. It is quite the contrary. Any MMO that manages to launch with minor, or slightly annoying bugs is win.

So, it is their fault that you chose to spend five nights singularly focuses, staring at your screen spamming for a dungeon, and not doing anything else? How many people on your friends list? Are you in a guild? Have you been a good group-mate when running dungeons? have you been LFG in the who tab? I just find it hard to believe, that unless there is something that you are doing wrong (like being a jerk in groups), that one should not have such issues finding a group. This is exactly why I don't want a random LFD tool in here, especially a cross server one. It supports bad behavior and lack or responsibility on behalf of the player. That was the attitude that ended up rampant in wow, and I don't want to see it here.

You have just defined for us why you are "unhappy" with the game. You should have read up on what an MMO is before you played. MMO's are never finished. They never, ever, ship with more then a shell. The grown and continue to improve over time. If you came here expecting a completed game, like a single player game, then you set yourself up for your own disappointment. If you quit, you will miss the ride. If you stay, expect a ride. Its really that simple.

Please quantify this number with some hard facts. If not, please refrain from spamming this in every post.

Yes, they are paying for good reviews. They are also paying that 90% or so of players that are enjoying the game. My check came this morning. ....or, you could be in the vast minority of players that do not like it and rather then just move on feel the need to clog up our boards with anti-SW posts based on your personal misconception. Again, the mentality that accompanies the argument. I'd rather not see it. Do these people know that once recount and boss mods were placed in wow, the developers had to begin designing content around those, to where you had to have them? The mods determined the direction of the content, and the spiral began. SW without mods, geared to be played without mods will work just fine. Those arguing against are asking for mods to be placed in this game based on their assumptions about another game. They are not needed in this game, beyond our little friend's need to be able to yell, "You suck", or "you are a stupid arse", as we see him doing here. No thanks.

I am the best at what I do, there, skip. In real life. I play a game to relax and enjoy time with my friends, to take a break from the real challenges in life. That is my point. Life. You are doing it wrong if the need to be the ultimate best in a silly video game is your goal in that life.

Then perhaps it is time to expand your need for "challenge" beyond games to the real world? I mean, I've never heard a job interviewer ask to see your damage meters. ;p

So if you want to fly in your car, you should beat your head against the wall until you can? The point is not what YOU want, but the direction of the game, which is not in line with what YOU want. If you want to beat your head against the wall demanding that your car fly, that's up to you. Personally, I would just buy a plane. If I wanted Wow, I'd be back raiding in wow, not trying to make another game be wow.

Actually, it is those that believe there is a "suck or not suck" in MMO's that want meters. Again, this is a MMORPG, not a first person shooter. I tend to doubt that their goal will be to end up where Wow is now. If that is what you want, why are you not still in wow, which has all of that?

Again, you base you argument on logical fallacy, hyperbole and conjecture. The argument is beyond sophomoric to, well, silly.

This game is not about "being the best player in the world". That is first person shooter mentality where all that matters is "getting to fifty and beating the raid boss". Its an infestation not the basis. What part of that do you not understand?

I don't want this game to become what Wow became. That's why we are here. If you want a game based around the first person shooter mentality, then I suggest you go back to wow.

And yet another hysterical, exaggerated post. Do an analysis of game levels. Simply because your guild, or your few friends raced to 50 does not mean that "everyone" is to fifty. I called this about a month ago. We've seen it in every release, even Wow. Its standard for these games. The kids play non-stop for days on end to get to fifty, bypass the entire game, then complain that the game is not good. ;p

I bet you wish they would allow us to drive our cars right to the ticket check-in at airports, huh? ;p If you are in that much of a hurry that 6 additonal seconds running through a terminal with sprint on is game breaking, then you are in the wrong game. First person shooter may be more your style.

Exactly. A great deal of the "broken game" complaints I'm seeing are the result of problems on the players end, not the game. its taking second for my game to load....and I'm on a 5 year old system.
