  1. Drachehexe - A bastardization of drachenhexe which is German for dragonwitch. When I first went to use this nickname the two places I wanted only allowed for 10 letters so I had to drop one and stuck with it for sake of continuity. Uul-Ra-Shaan (male cyborg mercenary) - Though my memory failed and I slightly misspelled it, Uul-Rha-Shaan (correct spelling) was the name of an assassin/bodyguard that appeared in Han Solo at Star's End. Weilo (female Mirialan sentinel) - They say your Star Wars name is the first three letters of your last name plus the first two letters of your middle name. Since my combination makes no sense I used that of a friend of mine. V'el (male Miraluka shadow) - A shortened version of Velkyn, one of my oldest and most prominent D&D characters and main WoW character. Rha'nee (female human scoundrel) - A "fancy" spelling of a friends middle name. Tetelo (female Sith sorceress) - Taken from Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers main villain, she has a voodoo vibe. Xenthier (male Rattataki sniper) - I wanted a name starting with "X" and this is what I came up with. Pronounced zen-thee-ay, but you can call him "Agent X" Arunay (female human commando) - Named after a friends character from WoW. K'san'a (female Zabrak juggernaut) - Just started throwing different syllables together and then decided to throw in some apostrophes to break up the look a bit. She was my first SWTOR character. And just so y'all know Imma be stealing some of your names for other games
  2. It is true that it ultimately comes down to whether or not you feel you're getting your money's worth out of the game. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with continually playing the game if you feel the value of the game is worth your investment and we all, of course, will have different criteria by which we will measure that value. It's when the state of a game degrades such as SWTOR has and people still try to insist they're getting the same value now as they did before just because "it's Star Wars and it's the only SW mmo out there". If you're 15 bucks today isn't delivering as much quality as your 15 bucks was last month then you're getting screwed whether you want to admit it or not.
  3. As for DirectX 12 being overrated I don't know about that. Since Rise of the Tomb Raider went to Direct X 12 my performance in it increased by a very significant amount. Still, I don't see it as needed for SWTOR and more importantly I am not sure they should try. In all honesty I really don't even want them to even try to make a change to 64-bit or Direct X 12. The engine itself is freaking buggy as hell and they have proven time and again that they can't readily fix the bugs and graphical glitches that are already there. If they were to try to "upgrade" the game engine like that I can't imagine the disaster it would cause because I don't think the SWTOR crew has the talent or resources to pull it off.
  4. I am with OP on this one. It's time to step up or go home. Either this is no longer a Bioware quality game or Bioware is no longer a quality developer. Tthe quality of this game has degraded significantly over the years. It has got to stop. With a poorly optimized game engine, bugs still in the game that were there in beta, to failing to fix the legendary player bug twice now (seriously? I won't sub again just from this alone), it's time to for them to call it quits if they refuse to do better. Bugs and an unoptimized engine aren't the worst offense though. The worst offense is that this supposedly F2P game is now starting to require subscriptions for access to content. The subscriber only HK mission required you to have like a 6 month subscription leading up to it's release to be able to play it. How good it could possible be if it requires a 6 month sub to get access to it? I really like the story of KotFE but I can't seeing paying six months for a subscription for it when it only takes a few hours to go through the entire story available to this point. Either SWTOR is seriously hard up for cash or, as someone else suggested, the cash they are getting isn't being funneled back into the game. Either way this game isn't getting the attention it needs and it would be much better if they abandoned it now instead of continuing on letting it die the slow and painful death that's coming to claim it.
  5. Agreed, the seeker droid/macrobinocular heroics need to be scaled back, these missions exists unfinished in ALL of my toons except for 2 where I just decided not to pick them up. When The Shroud heroics first came out I tried to do it with one toon several times but the instance was completely bugged and couldn't be finished so I never went back to it ever again. It would be nice to finish them for the sake of completion.
  6. I just accidentally changed my body typo to on that looks completely awful. Not only did it cost me 100 CC but it was my LAST 100 CC meaning I can't change the god damn thing back and I think you should allow us refund on it anyway because the character modification window really does not give us any sense of the damn thing will look in the game world. It shouldn't cost real world money at all but if you insist on it then make it refundable of give us a better preview option.
  7. Something like this was being asked for from day one the moment it was discovered that the space "missions" were rail shooters. The star fighter PVP was the best they could came up with. Since I don't think they designed with true spaceflight in mind it is probably near impossible (without a major engine overhaul) to implement in the game. But yea, with KotFF the developers of the game have taken steps even further from the "star" aspects of Star Wars and it is definitely noticeable and disappointing.
  8. The new weapon we made in "Visions of the Dark" is no longer in my inventory anywhere. How do I get it back? It's not in my cargo hold, no vendor has it in the "buy back" tab. I find it completely stupid that they let a weapon that is needed for a boss fight be sold/deleted.
  9. LOL, there should be a Rachni Live Matter meme. #rachnilivesmatter
  10. Might I suggest avoiding such mistakes in the future? She doesn't seem to be happy about meeting herself. https://flic.kr/p/HCEqL5
  11. Oh man, I was so ticked when I saw Jorgan could no longer use an assault cannon.
  12. IDK about that, the taxis seem to move at an acceptable speed for racing.
  13. I literally just spent the last 30 minutes or so on fleet greatly entertained by the hilarious suggestions, jokes, and comments about this speeder and its overall awfulness. One person even suggested that it was designed by a guy who had his ********s burned in a freak motorcycle accident.
  14. I'll vote for this. Definitely will vote for this.
  15. 1) Too many of these mini boss fights where every 25% health or whatever the boss goes invulnerable and sends adds your way, forcing you to kill the adds before you can damage the boss again. You've done this A LOT. 2) Stop neutering stealth. I though it was great to finally get to KotFE with my shadow only to find that so many of the missions stealth is completely useless. In some missions every single fight is a forced event that cannot be avoided and most of them are just filler and not necessary. Why can't my shadow just sneak past these insignificant battles? Hell, even using force cloak to vanish doesn't work, the enemies ALWAYS can target me. This complete ruins the concept of the class. 3) Stop automatically launching the next chapter on me. I am so sick of finishing one chapter and getting ready to vend and upgrade gear and manage inventory and stuff only to be automatically forced into the next chapter. Let me get my crap straight beforehand ok? 4) These drop boxes, ya know, that literally drop outta the sky to deliver rewards and cartel market items? Yeah those. Stop it. JUST STOP IT! Just give them the gear already. I am so sick of having to hear 50 of those damn things every time I'm in the Odessen public area. Remove the visual and the sound effect and just put the damn items straight into their inventory.
  16. Oh I would almost guarantee it's not going to happen but it NEEDS to happen or the list of bugs is not only going to get longer, but the bugs will become more severe. Honestly I don't think this game will be around in a year or so. It's plainly obvious that Bioware doesn't have the resources to keep up the maintenance of this game (bugs from public beta still exist in this game).
  17. Seriously. Take 3-4 months (I'd even patiently wait 6 months if I had to for an unbroken game) off from content updates and do nothing but fix every single bug that exists. Both within the game and within the game engine (and its associated libraries). It is apparent that either you programmers are complete idiots or that there is something systemically wrong in your games core code that continually causes things to break or fixes to either never apply correctly or at all (not to mention failing to fix things at all that you said you we're going to with the next update. This is approaching the line of inexcusable failures. It's time you either get it right or give up and go home. You're Bioware for Christ's sake and you're dropping the ball. If you don't have the resources to get it right then get you reps over to Disney, they've brought in over 4 billion in movie receipts. Make them share some of that profit with you guys. If you can't, then shut down because you guys just aren't good enough anymore for Star Wars.
  18. There's a Hollywood whitewashing joke in here somewhere...something about actors full of dark side corruption or something.
  19. Funny how that works sometimes, ain't it?
  20. Are you sure the medallion is complete?
  21. Same issue with my jedi . I was told by customer service that a fix was coming with 4.5, but it is not listed in the patch notes so it's 50/50 to me on if we'll get it or not. I want my legendary player status dammit!
  22. I didn't see a fix listed for the legendary status not being awarded for completing all class stories.
  23. Oh, ok, bolster. Weird that it is affecting non-pvp play.
  24. I currently have all my gear (dps) rated at 190. Using data crystals I recently bought (and promptly refunded afterwards) one piece of 216 dps gear and 4 pieces of 208 dps gear. So swapping out 5 pieces of gear that all have positive bonuses should give me increased damage out put, higher critical, etc. However my damage actually dropped by several hundred poi9nts (I think about 350-400) and my critical and accuracy by a couple percent. I have even notice that a piece of equipment that, say, gives me a bonus of +135 endurance that when I equip the gear my endurance and health actually drop. It has happened with weapons, chest, helmet, gloves, leggings. It has happened from all the different vendors in the war room area. Exiting teh game and logging back it did not do anything. The bug/glitch seems to be permanent. I think this is a serious problem. ADDENDUM: The problem does not appear to affect the items sold by the droid that sells the ear pieces and implants. I have confirmed this with a second character.
