  1. Does the purchased FP XP boost apply to tactical FPs as well as normal FPs?
  2. It'll be a great tool for folks leveling! But given that it doesn't drop commendations worth having at level cap, it really doesn't change much. I guess it'll give something for DPS to do while they wait for a HM FP to pop, but tanks and healers will just keep queuing for HM's.
  3. Question to anyone that has played GS: Under movement binds, what exactly do the "Z: Hold Mouse" and "<Shift> Z: Toggle Mouse Mode" exactly do? I'm not really getting the concept on those settings. Thanks in advance.
  4. The funny part is that I'll rarely ever notice what anyone is wearing unless there's an afk in group as my zoom is always way the heck back for maximum situation awareness (that and we speed space through dialog so fast that you only get a frame or two of your character there).
  5. While I certainly can't speak for Ops (and so, my following comment doesn't apply to them to the best of my knowledge), I would be tremendously embarrassed if I couldn't get enough threat on and/or disable 80% to 100% of the mobs on a given pull within the first 3 to 4 GCD's of going into combat to counteract a pre-HoT cast on me by the healer. A pre-hot thrown by a healer helps them with both resource and GCD management which can be intense on certain trash pulls. Furthermore, certain HoTs are of long duration and, unless manually removed by the tank, could simply still be on the tank from the previous pull. "Punishing" healers for "not following simple rules" is completely unjustified for when tanks have such fantastic tools to cement their threat in this game. I can understand a degree of frustration at dps that don't follow the weak, strong, elite, champ, boss approach of squishing mobs (since there is literally no better way that to lower incoming damage than following that kill order in most cases), but not making use of your toolset to keep your healer safe just seems odd to me.
  6. It's also faction specific as well. I'm also a Shadowlands resident, and I find I generally have to wait longer as a tank pub side versus as a healer imp side. My imp side healer has insta-queues for the most part and my pub tank has a wait of 0-5 minutes generally.
  7. The image is just the full Havoc Squad, so I'm gonna go with "no" on playable Gand based on that image.
  8. Your mileage will vary depending on players you're placed with via GF. Personally, I've only had one HMFP that I didn't finish as we simply did not have the DPS to get through the bonus/final boss. Every other HMFP I've run has been a breeze. I've seen a lot of fantastic DPS'er that know what to hit, when to move, and can pump out the hurt on bosses. I've seen healers keep me up when I'm unable to use my cooldowns at the proper time (my notebook video drive has a love/hate relationship with the TOR client and sometimes chooses to freeze up at the most inopportune times for a few agonizingly long seconds). The bulk of people are polite and courteous regarding loot rolls and everyone seems to have a pretty good time (even in the HMFP I didn't finish, the players were at least nice). The loot is fine overall. Two people per run will be getting something in the Black Market range and we're all coming out with commendations to help out when RNG has got you down. I started running HMFP as soon as I had full basic gear (sans relics) and in the two to three weeks I've been doing them, I've picked up four Black Market upgrades. So, basically, in a month and a half, I'll likely gear cap my character unless I choose to start trying operations. That seems about right to me. Just my 2 credits. Disclaimer: I realize that playing a competent tank goes a long way to making the experience more enjoyable as I control my destiny to a much larger degree (both in queue times and in run fluidity). But, that's the reward given for the responsibilities that come with the role.
  9. It's there. Just look around a bit. Once you know where they all are, you won't mind the change in the least.
  10. I'm going to go with "yes", but I have no such authority to back up that statement.
  11. Um, dude, relax. The person you quoted probably runs the HM FP on alts to get the daily comms out of the run. One to two weeks later, said alt then buys a piece of his main's gear, rips out the mods and ships them via legacy gear. Edit: it appears my assumption was correct.
  12. It's always good to continue to offer content to those who opted not to purchase RotHC. That being said, there's nothing stopping a high level character from running the content. It's just not overly challenging.
  13. While I don't disagree that the log should be a bit bigger, if you group with friends, you can work around this by having them start the conversation and you holo'ing into it. It goes into your log above the 25 cap.
  14. I guess a better question is, once early access ends, do you need to purchase RotHC to cap out at 450 (not that it matters to me; I'm purchasing the expansion, but the descriptions of what's included vs. what's not is vague at best around crew skills)?
  15. Same thing happened to my BH. Pretty sure that kolto missle went from a talent to a baseline merc skill which is why we had to train it.
