well, this is **** for me, and any other HM/NIM progression raider been a sub since launch, so have no interest in going back to EV/KP/EC progression, even if they made them 'harder' its not new content, and the story line will be new, but that will take all of a week at most. as for the 'new' tier of gear, there is 45 bosses, so you could just get 8 people, do all ops in 1 day, and half the raid could be min/maxed inside of 1 day im guessing the top end pve group isn't a high overal % of the player base, but good job pissing us all off, 5 of 8 my raid team have unsubbed just going to let sub run out the current content is easy on sm and yet alot of puggs fail at it, cleared tos/rav 8man sm with 5 people, 1 tank, 1 healer 3 dps, only real issues was m&b. (guild group ofc) but been in tos puggs on my tank and dps have been so **** that underluker enraged at 42% and that was with every1 alive, as tank was only pulling 2.3k at best as for the flashpoints, can easily 2 man the HM now, well, up to the last 2, not tryed to 2 man them, yes the first boss in manaan did take over 20 mins, but is possible to 2 man but, rant over cba with a game will no new end game for this amount of time

lil late to the party, not sure if any1 asked this, and cant be arsed to look though all this tread, lol but what is BW going to do if sum1 does this exploit to the 500 million extent and then buy a s*** ton of items off the GTN, from just random players, then sell or use the items, they might not have the credits for BW to remove by the time they get around to fix this issue, so if sum1 is selling an expensive item, and gets credits from sum1 else doing the exploit, does that mean they get the item back and they get the credits removed? whats stopping sum1 creating a new account, doing this exploit then posting "normal" sales on the GTN on main account, then doing mass buying off the gtn with the exploited credits, to "hind" the true aim of the sales. in my opinion, this is way worse exploit then any of the past PVE ones, who cares about getting a 204MH a week b4 you were meant to, chances are, it wouldnt help people kill raven. if raid teams couldn't meet the dps/heals checks, then they werent good enough, increase gear wont help that much with that. only a small % of the community even do the top tier content, credits is somthing we all use. the way i see it, BW can either; hot fix the issues which would have p***** off the euro pvers for having the servers down for standard eu raiding times, and the rest of the player base for the servers being down for 14 hours, or more, or they can roll back the servers once they fix it, again this will p*** people off or remove credits and ban people that use the exploit and keep the credits or track every sale off the gtn from accounts that have used the exploit, and return all items back to the sellers and credits back to the exploiters, then remove the credits, but again, with the about of days thats passed, this could have affected a large % of the player base or, last one, do nothing feel free the reply to tihs and answer any of the questions posted here, or point me in the direction of the answer if the questions have already been asked, thanks

no, plz DONT bring back ultimate comms, you dont need them if you dont have any of the 180 or 186 set bonus items, then; you can do the new SM ops with the gear you get from lvling up to 60 you can then, by following class guides to get the right stats, do HM with the 192 SM gear once you kill boss in HM you get 198 gear so you don't need ultimate comms at all why not just get better at the game and join a raiding guild so you can get better versions of the top tier gear ofc, if you want the ultimate gear for its looks, thats a different story, just w8 till 3.2 if you want that if ofc you are not good enough to kill boss on HM, then why the hell should you get the same lvl gear from a vendor as from the hardest content in game( not counting world boss on Yavin, the new one, not the walker) just be happy with the highest tier of gear your ability can get, if thats just elite comms gear, just be happy with it, if this desnt sound like its for you, read your classes guide and get better or, do a load of dailys and buy a gearing run

yea, only done ranked in the last 1.5 seasons but i find it funny when people start raging at me for dieing in 4 secs, when they do nothing to help out. too often i see tank able classes not using taunts sorcs/sages that dont even bubble themselves, let alone any1 else or classes with aoe stuns not using them to help outteam m8s, onlt using them once the sniper/sligner is dead and the other team is on them and then for people like that to turn round and start raging ad saying L2P, just lol

if we are talking 8v8 randoms Vs randoms (no premades) then sniper/sligners are very very good 8v8 no premades highest damage plus highest heals i did spend the whole match running to thier side killing the guy defending, kill 1 of his backup, then dieing to the next as sum1 said, auto crit aimed shot, not posting numbers as people might start saying OP diversion if a gr8 ability, and i dont see many other people using it, unless its on a sniper/signer if your in an 8v8 and your against a good premade, it doesnt matter what class your playing, you will probs loose. in 4v4's ill say it depends on how good the rest of your team is, if people know how to defend their sniper/sligner then you might have a chance. But, if you have 4 dps Vs 4 dps and the other 3 are standing behind the sniper/sligner then its not looking good for you. if you are allowed to free cast, then you should be able to take almost every1 down we are not the best class for pvp, but we are not the worst, apart from people L2P and know when to use DCD correctly ofc, if your against 3 stealthers, there is nothing you can do, same with other classes

old dread master gear or even dread forged gear is better that the 198 comms only go for 3 items max from comms vendor 1, offhand, just the hilt/barrel/armoring 2. ear 3. when you have 6/7 of the new set bonus, get the 7th item from comms vendor and just use the armoring as for the comms themselves, puggs shouldnt get top tier gear, even bad top tier gear from doing LOWER tier content you can still get comms from DF/DP nim if you dont have a group that can clear the new ops

i find your lack of faith disturbing. solo 8v8 there was a couple of guides in the same match, but we didnt talk about going sides etc

1 . very hard to do, even using all DCD can still mean you die, ive tested with a VG in same guild, in 1v1 i get him to about 30% b4 i die. 2. can only tell from my server, but unless there is a guy in pve gear, its focus the sniper/sligner 3. if you can kite there team fast enough to let your team kill 1 of theres, your doing good 4. depends on spec, i play ss/mm so im not moving that much, im more trying to keep people away from me. 5. depends on the player, ill say the PT/VG should win that 100% of the time, but it depends on so much, slow on DCD's better RNG with numbers having good players on your team is very very good, if a mdps can stop the other team getting near you. or pulling you away from 4 assassins, or tank able classes taunting the people on you yes, sniper is easy to play

im still liking my sligner in PVP quite often in 8v8 im within the top 3 damage, unless there is 3 sorcs on other team just spamming storm. sniper/sligner has very good damage, and good DCD if used correctly. at the moment, sligners have the highest single hit in a pvp match, on my server anyway. in 4v4 we will always be the first target, unless there is a pve geared guy runing around even if PT/VG are easier to take down if people leave us to free cast then we can easily take down almost all spec's. only real issue i have atm is diversion, the acc reduction in nice on targets, very nice DCD. but the "cant enter cover" is annoying. easy way to kill a sniper/sligner, have another 1 throw diversion on them. both throw it at each other, and 4v4 turns to 3v3, unless 1 team is better at protection the sniper/sligner if we have extra DCD we will be GOD's in 8v8 there is a lot wrong with class balance in pvp atm but overal we are in a good place, until BW buff every other class and leave is with nerf after nerf again

S&V worked fine for us, only issues was 6th boss with the armor debuff on the tanks, every 5 secs and cleanse is now on a longer cd, still doable tho as for olok, are you sure you take the right droids? TFB and DF worked fine aswell, we havnt gone back to dp nim yet

first off, let me say that the comms gear is c***, only half useful item is the offhand, maybe ear aswell. secondly, the change is very very nice, people shouldnt get top tier gear(comms version) so easierly, if you know how to play your class, you can do the sm versions of the new ops in the blue 178 gear you get from lvling up(done that as tank, with no augments, 47k hp and to be fair, i forgot to add colour crystals, lol) i feel that the top tier gear, should only be gettable by people that can clear top tier content, now that might seem elitist, but if people cant clear old 55 content as a lvl60, then its not a question of needing gear, its an issue of people not knowing how to play there class or (more likly) not knowing how each boss fight works. yes, tfb hm 3rd boss is very hard for some people, "must kill all red" for S&V 5th boss can be painful if people take the wrong droids, "all blue works on sm so it must work on HM and NIM" DF HM 4th boss lag is annoying and last boss's orbs, "ive got an orb on me, but im a mdps so must stay on boss and let the orb explode at 5stacks in the middle of the boss" DP HM 3rd boss, you sort of need people to talk about the crystals locations, and agree ahead of time which is top/bottom lef/right as for the new ops, ive not done them on 16man sm, only 8 man and mostly with guildes to gear them up for hm. as said above, if people know how to play, they can clear content with the story line gear. there is nothing stoppping people doing the old content, just beacuse there isnt any top tier comms any more, isnt a good reason. another good thing aboutit, it might stop people going into pvp with comms pve gear(atleast top tier comms gear) you still get lots of people in 186 comms gear in pvp overal this post of just to give another point of view, it is not posted as a dig to puggs or in anyway to seem eiletist

press ESC, click pref, goto social(i think), then there should be a nameplates section and in there you can turn it off

not sure if this is intended, but yesterday while switching chars for my guildes alt run of df nim. i had left my alt in my stronghold. so while i was in there i decided to click on the resource nodes i had placed in there. the loots rules in the ops group was master looter. so when i clicked them, i got access denind and coundln't collect them, ofc its only a few low level mats so no big deal, but was odd that coundn't collect while the only person in my stronghold
