  1. I bought one pack off the gtn... and got two decorations.... but only bronze ones.... going for circa 50k each on the gtn.
  2. I don't think I have ever actually watched the cutscenes in a Flashpoint because of people hurrying me. So - I agree - it sucks.
  3. Hmmmm - someone names computer game characters in a made-up universe after some other made-up beings that are not even copyrighted (how lax of the religious patriarchy). What is the cause for offence?
  4. I am completely enjoying playing my assassin tank at the moment. I have changed about half of my enhancements/mods for endurance/power so far. I find that I am not doing crazy amounts of damage - but reasonable amounts, and can do plenty of protection (almost 1 million in a wz the other day). I do notice, however, some situations where I get taken down so quickly it is crazy. But that just makes it fun somehow. As a stealth tank you can do so much in warzones... I win far more often than I lose - and I think that there is a reason for that...
  5. I am going to do several photoshoots with hot models... oh you mean what are we going to do 'in game'.... PVP.
  6. Just do some PVP - as soon as I hit lvl 10 with a new character I queued (yeh - makes me popular) and hit level 20 in 30 mins or so - really far too fast.... crazy fast. I think I'll hit vlv 65 without having finished chapter one at this rate
  7. Maybe give PVEers an alternative difficult route to achieve this - but leave it open to PVPers to aquire the companions this way - It is great with Major Pierce (I think that is his name) Every time I win a WZ he loves me that bit more... and I tend to be on the winning side more often than not (a reasonably good tank makes a difference). At this rate he'll max out his affection without any extra effort on my part :-)
  8. Yes yes and once more yes! Best Cartel Market idea in a long time!
  9. As we haven't insulted the OPs parentage yet, I'd like to add this in the name of all reactionary PVP trolls: Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!
  10. Funny - I feel that with more critical hits and stuff, that 2-3 good dpsers can burst through any healing tank combo. I rather think that the problem is that a lot of DPS players don't think the same way as tanks and healers think - keeping an eye on everyone and switching guard or healing everyone. They focus on one victim and give chase. Come on - how often do you hear in warzones - "the healer is marked - attack him ffs!" (or something similar). When you do get 2-3 (good) DPS attacking one target - ouch.....
  11. PVP is awesome because (I firmly believe) it is not just about gear - but about skill. It is about being adaptive, having situational awareness, about thinking whilst constantly moving, doing your rotations etc, but also keeping your team-mates in mind, what they are doing, what their strengths and weaknesses are etc... noble sacrifices, ninja capping, throwing the huttball at the last moment (before you are beaten to a pulp) to someone who scores... etc etc etc... I humby suggest it is harder than PVE. And all the PVP hate is because people are scared of it... On the downside - nobody appreciates tanks. I hold whole teams together and keep objectives in mind - MVP? You must be kidding.... Also, whilst being positive, studies have shown that regular PVPers are better in bed and more fragrant. Fact!
  12. Yup - I got the pop up too. There is nothing that I can see afterwards that indicates she is 'in a relationship' with my character though (like a little sparkly heart next to her name or something).
  13. I have never used movement keys... I started with the mouse and wasn't aware that you could even use keys for qutie a while. I certainly wasn't aware that moving backwards marks you as a 'noob' in PVP. I'll try that now to confuse the enemy and let them think they can have an easy kill... muah ha ha ha haaaaa (evil Sith laugh of doom!).
  14. Much worse than bad PVE players in Warzones are 'experienced' PVPers having hissy fits, insulting and finding a hidden corner to stand in and afk the match away. I am intentionally going to lead the enemy to their little hide-outs next time. I welcome more players doing PVP - even if it is only 5% who realise how much fun it can be. And I hope there is a circle of hell reserved for people who scream insults at nubs, noobs, newbs etc... I tried a couple of lvl 55 flashpoints in PVP gear back when lvl 55 was the top level - and got angry insults for my gear (and for not knowing the tactics) in one - and voted out before the flashpoint had even started in the second.... I gave up. It left such a bad taste in my mouth I do not do PVE. I have no idea what a raid is, no idea what an operation is... in the flashpoints I have done at lower levels all you hear is 'skip the cut-scenes..... SKIP THEM YOU TARDS!!' - I don't think I have every seen all the cutscenes to any one flashpoint. Why have I digressed? Well because I am FULL OF RAGE obviously But no - because the point I am making is - the PVE world lost a snazzily-dressed, charming toon with a controller (moi) who has excellent personal hygiene and most of his own teeth... And that is how it works in reverse. Insult people, be *****y to the PVEers who are dipping their toe into the waters of PVP for the first time, and lose them forever (and also lose the chance at new Warzones maps etc... because not enought people PVP).
  15. You wait until they put a walk-in wardrobe on the CM (Only 3000 CC folks - get three now!). Hah - then it will be my turn to laugh when I can hang up my hundred of virtual outfits...
