  3. Thanks all. Looks like I will have to take a look @ what I thought was a shield and make sure I didn't go noob and equip a generator.
  4. After rolling toons as the other tank classes I decided to try my hand with the Sin Tank for PvE. I have done a lot of reading on rotations and stat priorities, but I am still having issues with the Dark Ward. Following established rotation that I have p/u on though the forums, dulfy etc.. , I cast DW and get my 15 stacks. Now, according to what I read, I am supposed to keep DW up hovering around 8 stacks if possible. My issue is that I don't seem to consume any stacks @ all. I cast and carry 15 through to expiration. I am currently @ 53 now and equipped with the Makeb 53 relic mods focusing on defensive stats and set up to tank. I am sure it is something I am doing wrong, but I just can't figure it out. I know it is somewhat of a fishing expedition without going into all the minutia stats on my toon and sec by sec accounts of my rotations in fights. But is there a pre-requisite skill that I need to have in the tree? Do I just need to keep practicing the rotations and work on timing? Any insight would go a long way.
  5. I would love to see expansion on the Companion stories as well. After maxing out most of my toons, I feel a little cheated with the companions on all of them. The companions where a primary focus on SWTOR's pre-launch promos and I feel as if they have been relegated to be nothing more than another ability bar and some gears slots. I would love to see the next update be the update of the companion. If not expanding on the current storylines, then perhaps a daily series of quests. Perhaps one for each companion culminated by a big one that includes all of them (excluding HK and the Ewok) in the ilk of the trooper's 'Gauntlet' quest. I mean, by lvl 50 all toons have the same basic companions, ranged/melee tank/DPS and a healer. I can't see this as being something that would be too difficult to put in place. Course, I am just a simple warehouse guy, what do I know about programing...
  6. At some point there was mention of implementing a guild icon or insignia that can be placed on player armor. Is this still something that is in the works?
  7. I believe that these 'Heroic' abilities are only available w/ a companion present, which would make it PvE only.

  9. This. My buddy and I do this on a regular basis. Sentinels are easy targets w/ dual glow sticks and their DPS outputs. He leaps in the fray and gets in the middle of a melee mess and the baddies often don't realize that he is guarded and that I am just spamming my AOE and single target taunts. Mutually beneficial, he racks up DPS and kills and I rack up protection.
  10. Actually, i do believe there are moddable techblades. I jut picked up the schematic from the armstech trainer on Corellia along w/ the staff for the Yunn character. In truth, I haven't actually looked at them, but the proc orange bordered weapons.
  11. I just popped 400 on my armstech and associated gathering lines. I went to my trainer and got the schematics for Modable weapons. When I looked @ the ingredient list, it calls for one labeled as something like 'special crafting component'. How does one go about getting these ingredients? Thanks in advance.
  12. Are there any plans to implement more Companion content? Perhaps conversations/story, quest lines and hopefully more epic quests that involve your entire crew (ie Trooper Gauntlet).
  13. Is there any plans to add more content/missions involving multiple companions? Something much like the Trooper's "Gauntlet" instance.
