  1. Yup... They sure don't listen to the roleplayers. Those vendors had a ton of easily accessible items that we often grabbed for low prices... Guess they just want us to spend money on cartel items instead, and thus are removing non-cartel items to make sure that we turn to those kind of items. Money Grasp Alert!
  2. Thanks a lot mate. I had been scratching my beard, wondering how to best do this :-).
  3. I LOVE the alliance conversation and if you think about it it's really smart too. This way they can spend money on one voice actor rather than several, providing us with more content and deep companion conversations. Also it's very nostalgic for people who played Kotor. I'm all for it! The things I don't like are things like the Forced level sync, removing the planetary equipment vendors and so on.
  4. Good move Bioware... Good move... I down right LOVED the story content of this new expansion and I can't wait for the rest! But as for the other things you've done. Leveling sync and this... omg... What are you thinking?
  5. Oh trust me A LOT of players feel the exactly same way. In a couple of hours after the news about the level sync was announced there was so many threads complaining about it that they had to merge them into one thread. Then that thread grew so big that they just locked it without any explanation... More appeared, and more and more. PS: This thread should have been in the "General" section, not the Star Wars section.
  6. What crew skill do they originate from?
  7. I second this statement. Also if you're looking for heavy stat elements and PVE content, we all know WoW is probably better. Swtor is about story and immersing yourself into a setting, always has been. I for one is simply glad that they've finally come to realise this!
  8. As a roleplay I too would love this feature as a non-pvp option. Perhaps place a few quests on each of the planets allowing your access with the alliance system. Just make sure that you can't be flagged for PVP and can't kill npcs. Essentially, when you head to an opposing faction world auto flag a Sith Warrior as a Jedi Knight for gameplay purposes, and likewise for the other classes. Or simply flag them as non-hostile if that's easier. Also there are plenty of excellent areas on especially Corouscant and Ord Mantel that I would love to use when creating RP events for my Sith RP guild. Make this an option^^!
  9. Translation: New System: Forced Level Sync! Adventure with low level players on low level planets whether you like it or not! Do old content on old planets and forget everything about doing RP events in open world, because those mobs will aggro and attack you every few minutes! Oh yes, and guess what? We won't be removing your abilities go figure? Don't like it? Too bad because it's FORCED when it could be toggleable! PS: We do realize that our forum is filled with protest posts that we haven't responded to aside from locking the threads. But we don't care because we will enforce radical changes to the game you have played and supported and ignore your feedback. Also we are going to implement this immense change without even consulting the community before doing so! ... It saddens me that I have to sink to this level but you're clearly not listening to feedback and have no intention of doing so.
  10. It's called frustration, not arrogance. I'm not expecting them to listen to me only but to me and all the other's having voiced a similar opinion. You could just as easily turn your empty argument around and say you're arrogant if you think my opinion and the opinions of people feeling like me require your validation. I'm frustrated because I can see how this change is going to impact my enjoyment of the game and that of many others. I'm frustrated that they never reached out the community and asked whether anyone felt this was a good idea rather than just force it upon us. I'm frustrated that they choose to implement it like this rather than adding a toggle able system like seen in many other MMOs. So there you have it, don't be so quick to judge. I've presented several calm and collected arguments previously, but that description just made me lose my temper.

  12. Force Jump... Or if you're powerful enough Force Blast. Also with a Force User's keen precognition and speed enhancements this situation is unlikely to ever transpire.
  13. Yeah it's just not going to happen. It'll be quite the immersion break to see the non-force sensitives go up against Valkorion, Arkann and the like. But whatever, I'll be playing Sith regardless
  14. This is horrible. Take your levle sync and... Not going to drop to that level, but I think you can read my general frustration level from the start of the comment. If you are so set on giving the middle finger to the RP community, at least add servers where your expansion isn't going live. I for one no longer want any part in it.
  15. /signed And here are my two cents regarding the forced level sync: From a roleplayer's perspective the level synch is an absolute nuisance. I often host RP events with my guild on low level planets where we use the landscape to help built up the specific scenario or setting. This could of rinstance be the rakghoul tunnels on Taris. Here the Storyteller or Dungeon Master will be typing out the overall situation, whereas the players emote and describe the actions of their character. The actual in game npcs are not invovled in these scenarios and often just a source of annoyance when they aggro us and get in the way. Thankfuly, our high level players has just be able to one-shot them when they attack and refocus on our actual roleplay... Until now. This forced level sync will make it far harder for us roleplayers to set up RP events in the open world and thus it is not something we appreciate. The worst part is that this could be done in a much better way. Many games has a mentor system where a player can scale to the level of a specific plays or to the level of the player they are in a party with. However the key is that this feature is optional and toggle able. In conclusion I don't consider this to be just a bad decision, but the worst decision you've made since launch when it comes to annoying the RP community. Also seeming how many other people are concerned and displeased with this forced feature, please listen to your player base and prevent yourselves from committing this error.

  18. NO! Just NO! The RP community moves to plenty of the old planets in order to set up RP events. We don't want to be aggroed by every single low level mob. It will ruin so many event oppertunties and decrease our enjoyment of the game to a MASSIVE degreed! I don't rage easily but this is the WORST bloody idea you have ever had! Make it toggle able!
  19. Very much so. It would at a lot to immersion to have those places updated, or get a toggle option as to the background when in your strongholds.
