Finding roleplay can be difficult now that the RP-server tags have been removed. But thankfully there are third-party sites out there dedicated to gathering roleplayers in one place, thus making it easier to find like-minded RPers, share guides, stories and organize events. Static combat stance emotes that break when you move like the /chair emotes. Many NPCs in-game already have these stances, such as this. We in the roleplaying community would love you for it!

I can confirm this. I have tried every single hood up helmet / mask in the game and they all clip with BT3 males. Every single one... Don't get me started on the chestplate that ruins the outfit...

Annnd the chestplate ruined the outfit... Also did I mention that the hood clips with EVERY hood up mask available in the game on a BT3 male? I've literarily checked all of them.

I would love an Acina companion as well but that might just be because I took a liking to her character. In either case I really liked the design of her robes and would love to add it to my collection with a black dye.

The fact that you can't turn the DvL pop up off.

I don't know about you guys, but I find the DvL pop up to be really annoying. As a roleplayer my experience is all about immersion and this pop up continues to slap me in the face, reminding me that I'm playing a game. Perhaps Bioware could add an option to turn those pop ups off? It would be much appreciated :-).

This is already in-game but only for Rep side! The Initiate set or something like it for both Imp and Rep side. Keep in mind, I know we already have sets like this but the key here is that the hood is down. This should be very easy to add!

I've been playing since open beta as well, and honestly I don't see the issue with the Dark / Light Side event. Did you honestly expect to be handed all the rewards for free? And if you did where would the fun be in that? Besides, we subs veterans has several advantages when leveling a new character regardless. Completing most of these achievements will be a piece of cake, but a tasty one we can complete with friends.

So. Me and a friend just bought plane tickets and hostel stays in London. Now we see that the Star Wars Celebration is on the same day and the same place, requiring tickets for entry that has been sold out for months... Why did you not mention this in your announcement? Please tell me I'm wrong and that you don't require a Star Wars Celebration entry ticket to attend the Cantina Tour? EDIT: Or tell me I'm right so that we can attempt having our plane tickets refounded. EDIT AGAIN: Tait replied to my PM, confirming that you don't need tickets for the celebration to attend the cantina tour. Thanks for the swift reply!

^this pretty much. RP is active, alive and well on both Ebon Hawk and the Prog. A lot of it simply take place in hubs or strongholds when RP events are not scheduled. Besides the RP Community is simply asking for a tag besides a server name saying "RP" so that potential new players know what servers to join if they're looking to RP. Otherwise you end up having people split across several servers and thus you'll end up with several small communities instead of a few big and diverse ones.

RP is a totally different approach to the game and it requires two things to work: 1. Other roleplayers. 2. That the RP isn't being disrupted. If you add server - or even worse megaservers - without RP designations roleplayers are going to have a damn hard time finding each other, and this will result in RPers being spread thin and the RP Community suffering in return. The swtor RP community is very dedicated and have gone so far to have have their very own, very used, enjin site to organise RP: Swtor-rp.com Then there is the fact that several RPers, myself included, outright stay subscripted to this game because of roleplay. We don't need constant content updates we just need this platform to make up our own stories in and interact with each other. Aside from that, you find a lot of RPers spending plenty of money on the cartel market due to wanting specific outfits for their characters or decorations for their RP stronghold. Make no mistake, RPers might not be as outspoken or visible as certain other players, but they are there and they're usually very loyal. It's unfortunate that you insist on alienating us when we ask so little....

You don't understand what RP is... It's not a case of going through in-game content and play make belief that's just called immersing yourself in the game experience. No, roleplaying is to actually make a character and life in the world you're apart of, making up a background story, a believable character and interact with other characters as well. Removing the server specification means that roleplayers won't know where to find fellow roleplayers, and that is a problem. Unlike PVE and PVP players roleplayers don't need much from the game developers. We just need a platform and a way to find each other, and then we will create our own content together.

^This I am running a large roleplaying guild on the Prognaitor. and have been doing so for more than a year. The RP community is alive and well and we don't complain when you don't release content, we create our own. Only to do that we need other people and your senseless decision will invetiable result in a drop in RP activiety because roleplayers can't find each other. You haven't even left any indication of where to look. What are you thinking!?
