  1. That's what I mean. OP should have hit 65 by Corellia without any of those.
  2. The real question is how are you only level 50 after completing the storyline?
  3. I highly doubt anyone is using lag switch programs or switches to gain an advantage in SWTOR. there is really no benefit other than bragging rights in a pvp match. Not to mention there are ways for Bioware's servers to counter the loss from using a lag switch and if they are using a program instead of a switch the server will usually boot them as they will eventually appear to have lost connection. Physically unplugging the connection seems like more work than benefit to a lot of these lazy yahoos.
  4. What? The prequel movies are definitely still canon. The very site you are directing people to visit to showcase the lack of Zabrak has species, creatures and characters from the prequels.
  5. Valkorian wins. Why? Because Disney is going to throw a massive curveball at us in which Snoke turns out to be Valkorian/Vitate and thus SWTOR becomes canon. I kid,I kid.
  6. Same deal here. Beta tester, Founder title and here on Launch Day, my number isn't that low. None of this entitles me to a special opinion over someone who just joined the game nor should it add any weight to my opinion. It just means I have seen a lot more than someone who just downloaded it for the first time yesterday.
  7. Lore adds depth and strengthens the story. Lore isn't necessary but it is incredibly helpful if the writer is worldbuilding or writing more than simply one book set in that universe.
  8. You're forgetting someone. No real details about his chracter but he bears a resemblence to a young Mark Hammil
  9. Haven't gotten a "heavy hint" vibe that she is a Skywalker at all.The. specualtion of Skywalker progeny on the spoiler sites is pointing to a different character all together,a male on in fact
  10. Fido is a well known troll, he slides in something a dev said(in this case a dev teased that maybe Vitiate's true form is not a Pureblood), adds some crazy ideaa loosely based on what a dev said and then tops of his troll with something unbelievable about the movies or games. (do a quick search with keywords "revenant trilogy" to see what I am talking about)
  11. Back in 2013 or so they said this: Stephen Reid (Senior Community Manager): When the Timeline series was begun we weren’t entirely sure how many timelines would be needed to detail relevant backstory for The Old Republic and left ‘blank spaces’ on the Timeline that, we thought, would all be filled in with Timeline entries. Ultimately, we feel we’ve detailed all the relevant backstory required, so no more Timeline entries going back into earlier history are planned. However, we know how much players enjoyed the lore details, style and presentation of Timelines, so we’re planning to continue that with a different series (currently unscheduled!) which will detail other aspects of the lore of The Old Republic. So, nope.
  12. If you actually think all or a good sized chunk of the profits generated from subs/Cartel Market goes right back into the game then I envy your wide eyed innocence. They pump enough money into the game to keep it afloat, retain subs and attract new F2P people, thats it. Now if SWTOR had stayed pure sub based and was as widely played as say, WoW, and we weren't provided more class story driven content then I could see the community getting up in arms. Welcome to the world of F2P/B2P MMOs, you get as much content as the team can produce with a limited budget.
  13. 12x exp is coming next patch for subscribers, takes about 9 hours to do class quest from start to finish so you could always roll a sorc when the patch hits.
  14. I doubt you'll ever see that option. Since beta, people have been asking if it were possible and BW has stuck to it's guns and said no. First, it's pretty tough to make a "mistake" when choosing your AC the big AC selection menu is pretty easy to understand and gives you an out or two before you select it with no turning back. Second, it only takes 10 levels to be able to select your AC, if you really did make a mistake it will take you an hour or two to level up a new toon and not make a mistake this time. Third, it prevents people from switching their AC willy nilly. They don't want people running around doing AC switches and not knowing how to play the class, or switching ACs to hop on the FOTM bandwagon etc. Theoretically, they could put in an NPC that allows you to switch your AC for say a monetary penalty, but as they have been saying no since beta; i doubt it.
  15. I appreciate the creativity and effort, but sight genetics ruined by a lightsaber and it becomes hereditary? It's a stretch, at best. The only thing genes determine with the eyes is color and if you will have poor or excellent eyesight. I can't see how trauma would become hereditary for the life of me.
  16. All those characters specifically?Aryn Leener is in exile on Dantooine, Ax is an apprentice of Darth Howl could possibly see them. Everyone else is dead so that would make it tough, unless they would be in holocrons or ghosts. Could possibly see Zeerid Korr turn up if Aryn does.
  17. Correction: they got tossed against a wall by Yoda before he fought Palps and also stood there and looked pretty. i was hoping they would show up in Clone wars and be shown in their proper light, guess I will have to hope for a Rebels appearance. If I were the Op, I'd pick Carnor Jax. But I am biased as CE is my favorite of the EU/Legends.
  18. Jax was Lumiya's Apprentice, technically he was a Sith. He even claimed the title of Dark Lord of the Sith and had control and support of the Imperial Ruling Council as Emperor. True, we never saw him using a lightsaber pike, only a Imperial Guardsman pike but with some creative interpretation it could work. He could have constructed it "off screen" and never used it "on screen". I'd even wager if the Shadow Guard had been created and established before Crimson Empire had been written we would have seen Jax using a lightsaber pike at some point. The movies made the Imperial Guardsmen seem like just more fodder to be easily mowed down by the heroes, Crimson Empire showed just how ****** they all were.
  19. It's hypocritical because saying "Only the Sith deal in absolutes", is an absolute. Knock the "only" from that sentence and it is no longer hypocritical nor an absolute. You're overthinking this one.
  20. Jedi Temple Guards used the Lightsaber Pike and they were Jedi, could play it off as a fallen Temple Guard. That's canon as they were in Clone Wars. If you really want to scrape the bottom of the SW barrel, X1 used a force pike, as well as other weapons, before he went all Sith lord and used a lightsaber. It's a bit silly and complicated but he was an Adept before he became "Sith"
  21. Pretty good. My one issue with it: isn't Revan violating his own Rule of Two by having both Bastila and Meetra as Apprentices?
  22. Yup, she's a very tall. One of the reason's she got the Brienne part was due to her height.
  23. Funny, and I get you are making a joke; but Gwendoline Christie is 6'3(1.91m), a little short to be a Stormtrooper seems off as I never got the sense of Stormtroopers being 7 feet tall. Toss in the fact that Carrie Fisher is 5'1"(1.55m) and the joke falls flat...unless it's delivered in an ironic sense.
