  1. I can't tell if this was an attempt at humor or serious. If humor...meh,if serious, /facepalm.
  2. Dark Council Member of Ancient Knowledge is bloody well too long and Lord Kallig could cause confusion between the original and SI, referring to him as Nox seems to be the easier thing and is the accepted term on these forums as well as others like Darthhater and Wookieepedia. While it's true that DS stories for the Sith being canon is just an assumption and not a fact as of yet, at the very least the SI story being canonically DS makes the most sense.
  3. Actually, it's Nox, Occulus or Imperius; not Tyrannus(that's Dooku's Sith name)
  4. Since Imperial stories are thought to be canonically DS, Nox does fit for the SI. Official title for JC would be Barsen'thor, Trooper would be the top rank of Major of Havoc Squad, Smuggler is either Captain or Voidhound and just to nitpick, BH is Grand Champion of the Great Hunt.
  5. She is in command of the Ascendant Spear, 'nuff said. We didn't say personal power, we just said power, and that is one hell of a superweapon.
  6. I think you are correct with a small twist, Malak would have done all this until he ran into the Sith Emperor then Vitiate would have eaten Malak as a light snack, taken the StarForge and burned the Republic to ashes. Even with the immense power of the Star Forge at his disposal, Malak could not withstand Revan and Revan is no match for the Emperor
  7. EDIT: Toned down everything. You missed my point entirely..again. I'll let you go back and see if you can get it. If you don't agree with my analogies then feel free to say so, but please quit telling me they are inappropriate. They are neither irrelevant nor going against social mores or cultural taboos, so either English is not your cradle tongue and that was a word you were taught and favor, you don't understand the definition of the word and it's application or just use it to try and get a rise out of people.
  8. Damnit, I forgot The Entity aka Even taking the Dread Masters as individuals, I don't believe them as anything to sneeze at, I didn't want to take up spots as individuals. Collectively, i think they rival The Emperor in terms of power and separately they seem to rival those on our lists; I thought for sure if someone had an issue with my personal list, even though everyone is entitled to an opinion, it would be with Karrid.
  9. PC's stories are considerd canon, their game mechanics aren't but ok I get it. You left the Dread Masters off your list though. Mine: 1. The Emperor 2. collective Dread Masters 3. Darth Jadus 4.Wrath 5.Darth Karrid 6.Darth Nox 7.Darth Marr 8. Darth Ravage 9. Darth Mortis 10. Darth Vowrawn
  10. OP, no Wrath or Nox in your top 10? Odd, very odd.
  11. The only Tier 1 NiMM that had BH drops in it was KP and I think that may have changed. NiMM EV is a cakewalk and if it dropped BH comms guilds would be wholesale farming it weekly, NiMM KP isn't exactly the toughest out there but a few fights can get intense at moments for even the best geared people.
  12. Wookieepedia is a nice site for basic information or finding out information on obscure SWU facts, books, comics out there but I wouldn't take what it says, word for word, as gospel. Sometimes the information within an entry is flat out wrong or made up.(SEE: Darth Malgus; if you have any doubts about blatant incorrect or made up parts to an entry) Remember its a wiki page and can be edited by practically anyone as well as the initial entry sometimes being heavily influenced or biased by the author of the entry's perception of the character/events. For example, if you and I both wrote Revan pages for Wookieepedia, the facts would remain the same but the pages would look vastly different from each other.
  13. Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait what? The LS ending of KOTOR is canon so isn't Revan redeemed and later goes on to become a Jedi Master, impregnate Bastila and then goes off to find the Sith Empire? I never considered Revan a true Sith Lord in my understanding of them, but I was under the impression that he had become a Jedi again before leaving.
  14. You are a bit wrong here, storylines are canon, our characters are just ambiguously unnamed people of said class in the canon. Game mechanics are not. Read all the standards of the canon and you'll see.
  15. Any agent regardless of their specialty will have had combat training, I get your point, but you are making it sound like they are sending out the lambs to slaughter which isn't the case. I'm a former US Marine and all Marines are rifleman first and foremost regardless of MOS, at anytime a Marine can be rotated into a combat element even if he was a cook, paralegal etc. They might not have as much experience as those of us with combat designations but they have the training and have seen guys like this excel and survive in combat. The Sith probably did send the agents in hoping some would get slaughtered but knowing the Sith philosophy I think it was less about wiping them out and more about culling the weak from the strong for when the new Intelligence is rebuilt.
  16. Eternity Forgiven 8 Man SM TFB 08 October 2012 http://tinypic.com/r/2cxg5ra/6 Thank you
  17. Wrong forum, PvP forums are that way ------>
  18. Imperial Intelligence as we knew it is not being rebuilt, but the DS and "Batman" ending both seem to indicate a new Intelligence is coming into being with the DS IA being in charge of it. The game may not say that the combat re-assignment i's not temporary, but it doesn't say that it is permanent either. You know what they say about assuming. If you choose to perceive it as permanent, well that's up to you. Sending Intelligence agents in combat situations isn't a death sentence nor is it unheard of, all major Intelligence agencies have paramilitary units that operate in wartime conditions and NOCs and other field agents aren't exactly sitting in cushy offices, eating ice cream and playing hopscotch.
  19. Forgive me oh great and powerful one, I'll be in the corner with the rest of the meager mortal SWU fandom taking part in the canon universe while you prance about in your Super Mega Awesome Alternate Timeline SWU that apparently puts ours to shame. Your whole post is dripping with arrogance like I haven't seen in quite some time, one wonders why you took the time to come down off the Holy mountain to grace us with your presence and post in our little forums. Btw, some of the greatest Sith Lords were former Jedi like Vader, Exar Kun, Darth Ruin,Desolus, Ajunta Pall, Caedus,Revan,XoXaan,Ulic Qel-Droma, so your point on that is moot.
  20. In the first part of your super paragraph(use the space bar and paragraphs man) I believe you are referring to the Lost Tribe of the Sith. They were Sith from the Empire during the Great Hyperspace War who crashed on the planet and were stranded for some time until reemerging on the scene during Luke's New Jedi Order era. The writers could get lazy and say this is what happens to our Imperial characters but as I said before, large pockets of Sith from this era seem to survive and help to form Ruin's Sith Empire. I'd find it incredibly awful writing if millions of Sith crash landed on different unknown planets throughout the universe and then we discovered by Ruin and convinced to join him.
  21. I like the " I would be LS/mostly LS" comments from some of the people, optimists all of them. Unfortunately, given human nature and how the chemical reactions of emotions work in our bodies, even the best of us would be slightly into the DS.
  22. Sidious was a Sith Swordmaster and master lightsaber duelist( he mastered of all the forms) so he was pretty handy in melee and I don't know where you got "not seen using it" to "clearly not liking that kind of weapon". By the original trilogy he was so powerful and had Vader as his muscle that he rarely used it. If memory serves, in EU novels and comics that took place during the OT time period he used his lightsaber more than a few times and we saw how capable with a lightsaber he was in the PT.
  23. The OP is a bit off when he said that all the Sith in the Empire have to die to fit with the canon. Darth Ruin's forces begin with the 50 Knights that fall with him and pockets of Sith that are leftover from this Empire. As it's been brought up earlier, all we know is this current Sith Empire is gone by the time Ruin comes around, what we don't know is if it is defeated, wiped out, absorbed by the Republic, defeats the Republic and overthrows the Emperor and DC and becomes a new Republic or some other crazy scenario. The time period just hasn't been fully developed and there is a lot of wiggle room.
