First off i am rolling a trooper for 2.o and assault is out of the question on vanguard because it just is. But anyway any suggestions which to roll for 2.0 for pvp i will be going tactics or gunnery any suggestions? I am leaning to vanguard.

Hit 50 this weekend been in 50 pvp since Saturday mid day and i have won 4 games in 3 days i know i am in recruit but it just seems like rep has more premades and i am just getting stomped is this usual or is this due to double exp weekends?

Cross server in general would be nice to be honest.

This is similar to the "it's only a game" quote and yes it is but it uses my time and if i want to win and don't it is annoying whats the point in in objective pvp with a winner/loser if you don't want to win. Getting annoyed at losing is called competitiveness btw.

Two guys defending on a hypergate and somehow losing it to one while still alive. One guy not being sapped or anything on hypergate and stands and just watches them cap. These both happened last night to me. Hypergate is the most irritating everything comes down to the defender(s)

Its due to high ttk and most classes have hard counters to a warrior a sniper is op to a sniper a shadow is. Bottom line nerf operatives.

Every other class got a relative utility where as mara just got another damage ability along side pt so no they dont need a nerf if other classes are getting buffed.

Pre 50 pvp does not count for much but i did just have a voidstar where reps had 4 gs it wasnt fun being looked at and dying instantly but they still lost. Its not a class that can help with objectives on a level the others can.

Ironic how pt is the easiest class in the game pvp and pve and he is calling others bad and other classes op? The op is a moron if you talk about easy mode dps and op classes and you play a pt your points are invalid. I hope they break pyro i really do.

Agreed i don't like smashers but they require certain circumstances to be effective where as a pyro pt has no downtime doesn't have to stack anything and is one of if not the best dps in pvp. So what is more op a class that has downtime or a class that spams one button with a relativley hard hitting dot procs and hits hard with no downtime or reprocussions for their burst?

I know this is random but any tips on vs vanguard i am currently arsenal i will go pyro today i know some classes have odds in their favour but any tips for pyro vg?

So lets put it hyperthetically if you were f2p fresh 50 and enjoy pvp but all you got was 3 games in recruit do you think you would have a positive or negative view on pvp? Some servers complain about bad que times why not give possible players (subscribers) a better feel?

First off i am a subscriber and have been since launch. Pvp has always been on the side line for for and that is fine i can deal with it i like your pvp for the most part. What i think does not help grow the player base is a f2p player cannot pvp at 50 i personally cannot see how a f2p player can get a good feel when they get 3 warzones a week on a fresh 50 in recruit. By this i mean they will get stomped three times by ewh/wh players which has to be demotivating. This is just a suggestion but i think it would help pvp numbers if they got a week or two at 50 free or better/taster gear was introduced i am not after hand outs for anyone wh is easy to grind but a f2p players has no way to effectively. What do other pvpers think?

Vengance is viable also pyro pt is two buttons hardly enthralling game play.

Snipers are not the issue i was stating how the only ranged ac (pure dps) that does well has double the utility of mercs. Bottom line is in arsenal we have the damage but we have no way of getting it off.

I think their basis was mercs don't needs defensive cooldowns or oh snap buttons due to the healing and personally self healing in arsenal takes you out of the fight for a fair amount of time with little gained. Give us root or the unload slow having a root effect for the last like 1 second where it roots for 3 seconds unload has some nice talents but it isn't enough damage for the slow imo. Or maybe RP takes 10 seconds off your kb cd or something we need something to reset utility because as the tree stands a lot of dps abilities do string together relatively well but the utility doesn't for how little we have. P.S the range of stun would help A LOT.

Also we have a unload slow why do we need another and reducing our stun to 10m did not help i think we need in arsenal our rocket punch kb a melee root is pointless. Snipers have the same but a ranged root and a aoe cc we need gap openers or a better defencive cooldown.

I know of the bug currently in but my point is a sniper can do well *not stating they are op* but for a merc to be on a level playing field. It needs something better than just a slow as i put previously sniper needs all its utility to perform against melee how do they expect merc to do the same with half the utility. And with relatively the same damage but the rotation can just be locked down.

So people learned to pvp i guess its much harder to facetank spamming fb and railshot and pull 400k dps without think but you know mercs are ez compared to pressing one button till a proc appears.

I am wondering why snipers who have no problem keep warriors off them get a disengage and mercs get a slow im not saying nerf snipers but why did you give snipers a ability mercs need badly. In pvp as arsenal its difficult getting hard casts off but with 1 kb compared to unleapable uninterruptable cover with a stun a instant cc a ranged root a kb a aoe slow if spec'd (engineer) entrench and shield probe is far better than a free heat cost cast a instant cast when snipers get a free snipe anyway. And 0 defencive or offencive cooldowns. And the rocket punch 4s root is awful so i can root do 0 damage or time is halved and the melee class has closed the gap. Give rocket punch its kb.

Baring in mind this is pts footage the dps does not seem that bad to be honest his 4k unload ticks and it is 8k rail shots are nice to be fair. Also tip for re rolling roll a warrior i don't recall them ever being nerf'd same as tankassassin and the nerf to annih doesn't count anyway off topic what do you think of this footage?

Vanguard assault 2 button spamming death machine with little to no thought process you could cook and play it.

So i que with 1 irl friend so i deserve to be put only with premades and all it will be is ranked marked two until people stop queing in premades with friends due to getting stomped. Its a social game its a MMO be social its not hard to get into a guild and premade if you are getting owned. This gets posted frequently and i just think a lot of the people who agree either have no friends, are genuinely bad or dont understand the concept of a mmo. People don't complain about premades in other mmo's pvp so why should this be different? This game lacks community and banning/limiting people from playing with one another from the same guild is stupid. Get some friends join a guild and be social this isn't biowares fault you cannot be bothered to make friends. Also "they have communication" try typing snow for once when its got incoming. Blaming premades because half of puggers don't call is not the premade out playing its people blmaing communication then not typing in chat.
