  1. Hello I have recently returned to SWTOR and decided to level a dps merc for pvp I am finding myself in most games getting focused down hard and unable to get much damage off am I just bad or is this normal? Also any links to revelvant merc pvp info would be great.
  2. ESO has the hero engine with no de sync issues. So it would seem its a swtor exclusive issue.
  3. Funny thing is I came here from BFA and De sync is the only reaon I am leaving, everything about this game I enjoy but when im queing hoping for an arena on unranked and wanting to avoid a bunch of maps theres a huge issue.

As a returning player I was looking forward to come pvp but the lastest huttball map just shows the core fundamental issue this game has where players are rubber banding and falling through floors then being teleported back up. Every match is decided in huttball by who has the most operatives and whether it will register if you will see them on the map. I am leaving sadly because of this its a massive issue that has been here since release I find it odd that they have to know about it by now and keep adding these rediculous mobility effects. Also the issue where someone has the ball but it hasnt highlighted them is hilarious btw. You need to fix the desync.

Hello I am a returning player and wanting to play a ranged class I have been doing some warzones etc and asking around but I can't find any snipers in pvp and when i ask people I dont get much information on them. What is the state of sniper in pvp? and is there a reason that they are under represented?
  7. Versus a merc and versus and sniper could some experienced player walk me through Should we be winning against them in a fight? And could someone tell me what specs beat them consistently?
  8. From playing gw2 there was a function with ctrl+T that would mark a target and if players pressed T they would target that enemy. I would like to see this mechanic added as many ops leaders don't mark and its a lot of work to do in fights with how fast paced it is can we please get something like this put into pvp or even the game? If anyone disagrees I am open to why this is a bad idea but I cant see any cons espeically with language barriers being prevelent in pvp.

    If you don't want to balance at all can you please limit classes per bg I think class stacking is a real issue I'm getting games with 6 juggs or 4 scoundrels and on maps like odessen juggs stacking on a point is a real issue and don't even get me started on mobility in huttball. Do people feel the same or am i a outlier? I don't have a issue with a specific class but certain ones are a lot more common and it does lead to very one sided game moves when they are stacked.
  10. I agree it is early but from the notes it looks like the best classes get better and the worse classes still stay at the bottom.

  14. I would like to see something with a healing aspect in pvp every class bar sniper actually has a heal maybe not a new ability but a new passive or a revisit to a old one would be appreciated.

  16. Am I shooting myself in the foot going rep for pvp or are they decent? Recently returned I don't want to bandwagon but i don't want to find myself playing with lemmings and being que less at cap. Any information is appreciated
  17. I think maybe something like subterfuge from wow where they open and attack but get like 2-4 seconds of combat stealth adding flavour to the class would be pretty awesome.
  18. I played a op from early release and to be honest since 4.0 i havent touched mine at all the burst is gone,every class can do it better and node harassment is better on other ac's. The self healing is awful and their burst downtime is the worst among ac's I think. Play a assassin if you want to stealth you also get a viable tank build and two viable dps lethality operative is even worse than conealment little variation and if you don't kill in your rotation you have a lul on damage. Regs sure if you want to node cap and defend no team fight potential at all i'd rather have a merc on my team they give out some decent burst at least.
  19. Sorry was doing it on a phone. Overall it's the lack of pressure you can put on them they have a lot more answers a pressured merc or op can melt a pressured sage/sorc can reset the fight as i have said it's their stalling potential especially in voidstar.

I do duo with a friend but the matter of the fact is compared to other healers a sage has instant casts and resets to fights if you compare phase walk and barrier to a merc healers kit one is a lot easier to shut down one has to energy manage and has no real way of stopping burst a sage has two means and if they have half a brain and are running with another sage it makes it more difficult. Such as if a side has two sages and you go on one or a dps the sages are either free casting or you or are being burst then when you get 1 healer down they phase walk or barrier blocking your dps so then you switch? Then the sage you were bursting is back on full health the issue is a sage healer can stall for a long duration and the more sages in the game the longer the stall and people do just get bored I don't see how this kind of play can be supported by any kind of player it is not fun and sure focusing one works after they've reset twice which is a large amount of time long enough for team mates to respond. But what do i know clearly its clearly a l2p option should listen to the people who main sorc heals no bias there honestly i think other healing classes are find however merc needs another defensive.

Also certain classes are better at capping sides walking to a side on a jugg is hardly unnoticable and makes cc capping very difficult but yeah i mean all classes can go in stealth cc and cap a side? Some classes don't have the luxury of cc and stealth this is where the issue comes in also shoulder cannon vanguard is a thing which often buys enough time for the sorcs to move across.
  23. So you advice is premade or you can't beat a certain healer class and if you are against any kind of logical person defending the other side all of your tactics are useless? Also the overall premise just end with people hitting each other with no real result. Seeing 2-3 sorc/sage healers makes a lot of pugs just give up.

Calling someone bad when you cant organise a pug match isn't a valid response a sorc can los and bubble the bubble used with other sorcs or any healer gives them a second health bar reseting their speed as they run away. You can focus a class that can reset a fight twice as the number of sages increase that increases the amount of resets but what do i know i mean the assumption is if sorcs are the most popular class and there are 2-3 of them all in healer spec a game it means they're balanced? People roll whats broken pt's were everywhere now? not so much.
  25. I cant beat 3 healers as they respawn to fast. i just don't think its engaging pvp.
