  1. I just reactivated my account. I feel the shame in letting all my skill points not grow during this time.
  2. It's actually a bit less then 200 mil. No where near 500. Misinformation is misinformation.
  3. I completely agree. 10/10 in nightmare/hardmode in operations takes our goup 3 1/2 hours to do. Hardmode flashpoints? we did them one time only to see them. Why would I do them over and over and over again? to see the same thing over and over? Rated warzones is a start. Arena would be another good idea, but those are pvp answers. PVE answers are tricky. First off, you actually need to make hard content. Nightmare operations are so easy they are not working. So once you have hard content that is very hard, you need to maybe do what age of conan did with guild cities. Have your guild participate in the long process of 'building your city' over the course of a few months. This city should be in an instance with 2 other plots for cities belonging to other guilds. The resources are in this instance, but it's a free for all zone, meaning anyone not in your guild can be attacked. You get to fight for the resources. Each building (that takes a ton of resrouces) you build gives a very small passive buff. like 2% more HP, 2% more power, etc... This gives us content. This is just one idea. There are a million others. This game as it stands is currently empty. I am full rakata minus chest and weapon. I am full battlemaster gear. I did this without effort. Without thought. I'm no superman, the 'game' is just that mindless. Bad mmo design.
  4. Server pop is dropping for one reason only. There is nothing to do. There is no sense of accomplishment in this game at all. Raiding is all fine and dandy except nightmare mode is a joke and you can clear 10/10 in less then 4 hours. Flashpoints are nice except you only ever need to do them 1 time because you don't need gear from them. Operations are easier and provide a plathora of loot with everyone getting 4 biometrics each in the time it takes to do 2-3 flashpoints where you are lucky to get one. PVP ... well.. enough said. Mindless warzone queuing with a premade or not, is boring and no sense of accomplishment. There is nothing to do. I am full battlemaster without any thought or effort. I did not play 20 hours a day either. You can literally afk to rank 60 and you can literally afk to full battlemaster gear. This is an mmo but it feels like a glorified chatroom/lobby. Give us something to do. Make us farm and fight to enhance our guild. Age of conan might have it's flaws, but it's guild cities is a good idea to take to increase the life of this game. Let us fight for mats to make enhancements for our guild. Let us choose are warzones. Give the open world (oh wait, what open world) some reason to be in it. Bioware spends all it's time talking about voice acting, Do you know my spacebar is almost broken? I've pressed it so many times. Crafting is stupid. You level up armor/synth to get your 2 rakata then you drop it for biochem. Even the comming nerf to biochem won't stop it. It's still what you need to do. My sub runs out on the 18th, and I'm not renewing it. This doesn't feel like a game at all. It does not feel like an mmo. There is just not enough flavor. Stepping foot in Ilum makes me long for the days of wintergrasp (and no, I am not going back to play wow). Half my raiding guild is leaving also. Probably more to follow. The game could have been so much better if there was only stuff to do with reason and goals. As of now, it's raid for less then a handful of hours (more raids wont fix this) and then log off. You only need to do daily's for 15 days before you get your 3 rakata pieces from daily comms. It's not about lack of raiding even though they are way to easy even on nightmare, It's about other things to do during the downtime of raids. Group based stuff that NEEDS to be done to enhance your guild. Enough with this afk to victory non-sense that is in this game.
  5. On my assault vanguard, I get 9k hits all the time. Now, it's not a single 9k hit. It's 2 4k+ hits and a dot that crits for 900 that is happening at the exact same time. So in a split second, there is 9k+ damage happening to the target (if the damage is critting) Assault vanguard is the pyrotech. I start with 'assault plastique', while running up I hit ion which slows and puts the high damage dot, stockstrike as I enter melee range, and now I high impact bolt. When High impact bolt hits, assault plastique blows up, and the dot ticks. Assault plastique if using consumbles hits for 4k, high impact bolts hits for 4k+, and i've seen my dot tick for almost 1k. with the added stock strike, this is more then 9k damage (hoping they crit). But adding into the level 50 vanguard skill called "battle focus", which gives me a 25% extra crit chance on top of everything else for 15 seconds, I am always criting. I can kill someone... anyone.. without question, once every 2 minutes. There is nothing they can do about it. It doesn't matter what class or what spec. They will die. As long as I have my tenacity and battle focus off cooldown, someone will die.
  6. There is no competitive pvp in this game atm. Ilum is annoying at best. I'm rank 63 and I 'earned' it through warzones. Now im full battlemaster gear + 2 piece rakata for bonus on my commando. I say more power to these people that are kill swapping. I'm so bored with the lack of any pvp goals in this game. These people kill swapping bothers you? why? How does it hurt you? You can lose your way to battlemaster in warzones anyways. So what if they do it in ilum instead of warzones? Everyone's going to be battlemaster and fully geared. So let them do it faster. At least then they will realize that after they hit that mark, they are going to stop and look around and say "now what?". Rated is comming in. But it's not comming in soon enough. Swtor is feeling very small atm. The only places I see now are Ilum, Republic Fleet. Nothing more. I'm leaving raiding out as that's PVE and not pertinent to this discussion. I do like the raids although I wish more of the bosses had soa's difficulty on hardmode/nightmare. But world stuff and PVP... pfft.. Trade your kills. Then you can qq in these forums and hope the devs listen for something to actually do.
  7. 9 times out of 10, when I attempt to do this, the ball carrier is sporting full resolve and I'm unable to pull him. For someone 'attempting' to talk about natural selection, please use complete sentences, and understand that more people crossing to the finish line usually have a full resolve bar. I'm glad this move is legal. It's the only way for me to counter a juggernaught/jedi knight from single handedly winning huttball.
  8. I cannot find the option anywhere to cancel or change my 6 month subscription before I am billed. I'm looking to change it to a 1 month but there is no link anywhere. Anyone know where I go for this? thanks.
  9. Wrong. My commando with full buffs, half battlemaster gear and half champion gear, sitting over 11% expertise, using warzone powerup rakata stim, adrenal, and rakata power relic can hit my demolition round for 7k. This is AFTER I hit my target with 3 Gravrounds to get the 25% more powerful demolition round. 10k is impossible. 9k is impossible. and 8k is impossible. I can't imagine the 4 remaining champion pieces I have after upgrading them to battlemaster would make a 7k crit (when all stars align) turn into a 10k crit. The champion upgrade to battlemaster is a lot smaller then centurion to champion. Also, my 7k crit (when all stars align) has to be setup. I can't do it from stealth. i have to channel 3 1.5 second case attacks that anyone of them can be interrupted. The enemy has many oppertunities to get out of line of sight or interrupt and engage me to stop me setting up my big hit. I personally can kill OP's as long as I have my Tenacity (pvp trinket) up because of the autofacing gravround (and charged bolts when they interrupt gravround). But if I don't have full health, pvp trinket, and rakata medpack off cooldown, I'm dead. There is nothing I can do if I don't have those 2 abilities and full health available to me when an OP does his stealth knockdown. I recommend everyone roll an OP/scoundral (scrapper) as an alt to protest this ridiculous burst damage. Yes gunnery commando's are a strong class, But we are weak to 2 things. We cannot kill GOOD healers (no interrupt), and we are stationary for everyone to see and kill and be interrupted. Our 'interrupts' (our 2 knockbacks which have to be melee and 10 meter range) start filling up resolve bar. So interrupting 2 times and then stunning for the kill (which they will trinket) now makes them immune to everything and they can just spam heal our damage.
  10. Good Gunnery commando's kill good Imperial Operatives. Imperial Operatives can kill many classes easily. But a good gunnery commando will destroy an OP. The only time one kills me is if my pvp trinket is on CD, and my stun is on CD, and I have other people hitting me. Other then that.. gravround/charge bolts (whichever they interrupt, I use the other), and demo round. with your 15 sec and 9 sec knockbacks. All you have to do is stand perfectly still and dps him down. You will win everytime. The secrete really.. is this.... Biochem.
  11. I hit people with my demolition round on my commando with 0 expertise at level 50. If you can't figure out how, I can't help you. Expertise isn't the problem. The 50's are not sitting in level 20 gear with the stats of level 20 gear. They have 500+ tech power and force power on their weapons. We have 16k+ HP as a non-tank. These are the issues. We hit like trucks and can take a beating because of the stats on our gear. Lowbies have no chance. I wanted to level an alt through pvp. No way am I putting my self through what I have put others through on my commando.
  12. But 25% of the classes in the game can instantly pop him out of stealth again.
  13. 1v1 on my commando that get's knocked down (level 50 and both geared), I win the fight with about 35-40% of my health. I played the scrapper (Operative equiv) and understand how they work. Commando's can totally burst them down. You can also tricket the knockdown instantly and use your aoe talented knockback before their GDC is up for another attack. I do it all the time. I love hearing the 'swish' noise of operatives in warzones because I love making them think twice about popping out of stealth. Of course, I did get owned by operatives at first because I didn't understand how to beat it. Merc/commando > OP.
  14. Because if the operative doesn't have all his cd's ready as well, he won't kill you. If you both have your cd's ready, the better player will win.
  15. Commando's would like to say hi. As a 50 PVP geared commando I kill 50 geared Imp Op's without trouble if I have my trinket available. They can't backstab while I channel gravround. Autoface FTW. I out dps them everytime. So if a commando/merc can kill a god, what does that make them?
  16. My 50 geared commando has no problem killing 50 geared imp op's. They can't backstab while I autoturn spamming gravrounds. I out dps them everytime as long as my back isn't given to them. Rock < Paper < Scissors my friend. I used to think they were op as I would try to kite and kill them and I would die everytime. Then decided to just stand my ground and take their front damage. Spamming gravround keeps me facing them. Save my break free for when they do their stun. Use medpack after the knockdown. Aoe knockback, stockstrike knockback, they have nothing left as I just pump gravrounds into them. Then they run away and stealth, and I pop my stealth scan on them. Maybe not all classes can survive their stealth knockdown combo, but commando's can. And my healing sage friend has no problem surviving their initial burst. So there's at least a couple AC's that can deal with scrapper/Imp Op's. If that's the case, they are not OP. Also not balanced on 1v1. If an imp op pops out and ganks a friend in a warzone, call it out in vent. Be prepared for it. Have peeler's and stuns ready.
  17. I'm level 50 and my group that queue for warzones are all 50. It's a steamroll everytime. How can a lowbie enjoy it? I certainly don't. I have had some good matches where there was another 50 premade on the other side but those are few and far between. I'm lucky to get 2 a day. I usually see only 1 match out of maybe 20 matches where there is a 50 premade against ours. We need cross server warzones with brackets. Screw faction rivalry. All it's going to do is make all the imps on my server go republic because we dominate the warzones. It's so one sided on the number of 50's on republic side compared with imp side. Boring as hell. Give us our own bracket.
  18. On my server republic with 98% of the time. I kinda feel bad for the poor sith. I'm not going to tell you which server because I don't want a bunch of nubs reading about it and wanting to come to our server. poor poor imps...
  19. 50's are not ruining pvp. Bioware is ruining pvp. 50's want to pvp just like everyone else. We just need cross-server brackets. It's the only answer.
  20. I'm a rank 45 level 50 with 15k hp. I kill non-50's with ease. I feel bad when my group of 50's queue up and there isn't even 1 50 on the other team. It's a slaughter to say the least. A complete joke. Once a day maybe, we will go up against another 50 premade but it is rare. Bioware you broke your system. You want to keep everything on one server and don't want queue times so you throw everyone into the same pit. It's the worst implementation I have ever seen. Put in brackets and cross server warzones. There is no server rivalry that you so quoted. It's us 50's looking at level 10s-40's pathetically try to win. They can only throw themselves against us like marshmellows on a brick wall. I can literally stand still and press 1 button over and over again and anyone under level 50 will die. A level 49 might take me to 40% health. A level 20 will get me to 90% health. It's just so broken. Fix this.
  21. I was pugged into a guild group for 8 man Eternity vault on nightmare mode. We one shot 4/5 so easily. It's basically a loot farm. WOW normal modes are 100 times harder and that's not saying much. Last boss we wiped 2 times and they wanted to try with a third healer so I was sit out for a guildy healer (i was a dps), and at this moment they are attempting him. So far every boss is so easy. I can't comment on last one really as I only got 2 attempts on it and from what I experienced it was still easy. This is so dissapointing. I do not mind at all if normal mode is easy. I'm fine with that. Nightmare should really be a nightmare. Not me standing still on 4th boss pressing 1 button (explosive round) and then 1 other button (gravround)... that's it. I literally pressed these buttons maybe 20 times combined on nightmare mode. The other boss where everyone fights their own person was also a joke. They hit you for like 1% of your health. And you just stand still spamming your dps rotation. We didn't even come close to the enrage. I'm sitting in T1 PVP gear and some blues. This is not nightmare mode.
  22. 1 medal = 1 warzone commendation and 50 valor (pvp rank xp) Winning gives 15 more commendations and more valor. It's not viable to farm medals if it costs you a win.
  23. The only melee that gives me trouble is the juggernaught. But with smart play, I can beat them half the time (level 50 pvp). I use to have trouble with Imperial Ops. They could kill me in literally 6 seconds. I have 15k HP in my PVP gear. Then I just decided to say WTH and just stood my ground and stopped trying to kite those insane damage imperial Ops. Next thing I know, their damage is garbage if you just stand and spam gravrounds. Your body autoturns to face them during the cast so they can't get any backstabs (works well against shadow as well) Kiting them is bad because you give up your back. Just spam it over and over and that poor imp op will die. Sure he will try and stun and you use your trinket for that. Having biochem with reusable medpack will get you back to full after he does his knockdown. After that he will run away before he dies. Use your stealth scan to pop him out, and finish him off. Oh.. and knockbacks. You have two with gunnery. One on a 15 second cd with talents and pvp bonus set. And another on a 9 second cd, also with talents. Melee are not that scary since you can pretty much outdamage them. Save your knockbacks for when they interrupt. That's when you use full auto while they are coming back to you because you will be locked out of gravrounds for a few seconds. I know it's tempting to use demolition round. But if you do against an op or a shadow, you will stop autofacing them since you are not casting anything for the global. They will get your back. Only use demo round when they are at range after a knockback. You have to take the damage. Don't kite. Stand and cast. Don't knockback a juggernaught when you see a shield icon over his body. It won't work. Use it after his immunity wears off.
  24. I have no idea what percent of people don't like huttball. However, the 7 regular people I PVP with at Max level hate huttball.
