Type 4 is by no means fat. Still, type 2 is anorexic? Not even close. Type 2 is more of an athlete's build. Type 1 definitely is anorexic though.

Any game that flushed my hundreds of hours of work on a fort down the tube because of the actions of some gamers who happened to be better than me is a game I wouldn't be playing much longer. I'm pretty positive I'm not alone in this.

I'll preface this by stating that I am a raider and that I was a raider before "casuals" started the nerf cycle in WoW. That being said, WoW was able to get away with making content hard enough that a good portion of the playerbase wouldn't get to see it because they basically had no competition from other games. There was EQ, but their poor implementation of the launch of EQ2 destroyed their market share for a good long time. These days, there are so many mmos out there that if a game attempts to make content as hard as those who decry casuals would like it to be, they would see a majority of their playerbase jump ship, because a majority of the playerbase are casual players. It's not feasible anymore. Either adapt to the times and stop whining, or go find another genre to be elite at.

Anybody know of a site like this for the Republic? It seems every guide site I find is Empire only.

I would just like to humbly request that Bioware make MORE female gear with bare midriffs.

I play both male and female characters. One big thing I've noticed is when playing a female character I tend to get treated nicer, by both men and women. Maybe the reason people who play female characters aren't jerks is because they haven't been made quite as cynical by people being jerks to them.

I'm in the no cross-server LFG camp, but I really don't see why a compromise can't be made between the two camps and implement a same-server LFG tool. Not true. My trooper is a tank, and once I hit Taris I found it pretty much impossible to find Heroic groups.

Between Force Stun, Force Lift, and Low Slash, I can keep a mob out of a fight while my teammates take care of other mobs or until the tank can pick it up off the healer I pulled it from. Very useful when the fight has already started and you get an add.

This is why I like playing a shadow. When someone tries that with me, I force cloak, mob aggroes on them, and I take the chest/node while they fight the mob. Turnabout is fair play!

Has anyone got a screenshot of the upper robe that drops in Maelstrom Prison? I got the lower robe which looks really cool and I'm trying to find out if it's worth farming for the upper robe. That would be the Shadow Strider's Robe. I keep hearing that it was removed, which seems lame as the lower robe still exists and is very "shadowy."

Metacritic always has low scores. Look at the other sites like Gamespot and IGN and such for their user scores and you'll see them much higher. It's too easy to create dummy accounts and troll vote down games on Metacritic.

So, let me get this straight. You, and 27 people from your guild, cancelled your subscriptions based on something that MIGHT happen? Not only that, but based on something that ebbs and flows in every single MMO? Methinks you were just looking for a reason to go already.

Learned from gaming? I learned a lot, and I do mean A LOT, about history from playing the various Civilization games over the years. I learned so much I think Civ IV would be a valuable addition to a middle school history curriculum. Civ V sucked though, don't do that one.
