  1. I read on the forums that you should remove expertise and i did that. How could I even guess of such a system where pre 55 you can get certain mods which were so good that it would negatively affect how you get bolstered. I mean seriously surely I cant be the only one that thinks this system is stupid as hell!?!?
  2. removed every mod / armoring and enhancement, i augmented everything but chest and legs
  3. no what im saying is i removed all mods with expertise, replaced it with mods from the makeb vendor, to find this actually gimps me as well. How the hell am i supposed to know what gear will or wont ruin my performance!??!?!!? The ppl in wz told me I have to get rid of the epic mods, they dont bolster well. But how am i supposed ot know that before i spend all my coms on them !?!?!?!?
  4. Ok first off i know I am gonna get criticism, stop qq etc.. thats fine im prepared for that. But regardless here is my rant, at this point my anger is at the extreme end of pi**ed off. So anyway, I returned to game, i could see in forums about bolster in pre 55 to remove expertise as it would hurt performance, ok that's pretty ridiculous right there. That to pvp i need to completely change every single damn slot. Wonderful really appreciate it thanks. So fortunately i see I have almost 200 planetary coms over the the current limit eve, great i can use these to get mods with no expertise to repalce my current mods. So i go through the long process of this and finally get my gear to something like it was before but with zero expertise. Then i go into wz and see find out that these mods actually *********** gimp the **** out of my performance, I have less hp than a sorc when i spent tons on my gear. Bioware can you understand how *********** furious i might be at the pure ******** a man has to go through just to play a *********** wazone and contribute????????? Why do you make it so *********** hard!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! FOR **** SAKE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS BLOSTER SYSTEM IF NOTHING ELSE JUST GIVE EVERY CLASS A SET AMOUNT OF STATS SO GEAR WISE YOU WOULD HAVE PREFECT BALANCE (FOR PRE 55). Ok im ready for the hate but i dont care, too *********** angry.

  6. Well that's the problem with patch that removed the knockdown, it doesnt matter if they 'make the dps more viable for pve' or whatever. They took away the fun. In this game swotor where you can be like vader saber throw, force push etc, a dual light saber wielding beast, throw rocks, lightning at your enemies, even be like boba hooking your enemies, turning on the flame etc.. what reason is their to play scoundrel/op? The knockdown was the fun part of the class the ability that gave you some satisfaction, some pleasure, sense that your class brings something unique to the table. Now we are literally a dude with stealth and a gun. Well great. I dont know about other servers, dont know the numbers but at least on my server there are even less scoundrels, and they all healers. Good job Biodisaster, you literally murdered a class. In the meantime im getting bored of my shadow cos in a wz theres so many feel like a fotm. When you affect the class pop balance, you actually hurt every other class because of the amount of people that re roll. Came back to this game for a month and already bored. When you kill a class in a game where you give incentives for re-rolling, the writings really on the wall.
  7. Am optimistic enough to ask that there might even be some dev feedback on this? Correcting this one aspect would be an extremely positive improvement for overall swtor pvp. Players already have the choice to exit a war zone to avoid ones they dislike, why not let us make that choice before we actually enter the warzone?
  8. Please no, I can't stand the new maps they have put out so far. I came back after few years and swear this game has made me into a pve'er because now when i queue I know im less likely to get Alderaan/original hutball so rather just level play fp's instead of queue.
  9. Agree with this post so much. I would happily pvp all day long on Alderaan/novare/original hutball map. Just cannot stand the new hutball/voidstar and that weird one with the pylons, its just an auto exit every time. Its such an obvious thing to give players choice in this regards. Just like they do queue finder where you choose which fp's your going for they can do the same for pvp maps. %100 am begging for this to be implemented.
  10. it really doesn't matter how strong snipers are, as long as they are under-represented they will not get nerfs. They will probably get another buff if anything
  11. tbh I think the OP actually makes some very reasonable points. I have read each of his posts and they are well constructed and give good advice. The conclusion to this is very simple and pretty obvious. its time to nerf operatives
  12. well the only reason I am still playing is because i made the decision to re-roll at a very early stage. I am very new to mmo's so not entirely sure of 'how its supposed to be' rolled my jugg to lvl 30 plus two other toons to around 20. When i was in fleet there were approx 40-50 at the very peak times. I remember spamming genrakl chat LG for literally over an hour without even getting a response, (it felt so deserted I almost longed for somone to tell me to **** and stop spamming just because it woudl represent some form of communciation at least). between the hours of 17.00 - 22.00 from being continuously in qeue for wz it woudl pop on average 3-4 times. Yes no exageration. Suffice it to say the problem of 'leaving warzones' didnt exist on that server asd most people were so happy to get a pop they stayed even if they got steamrolled. Anyways I knew this couldnt be right, and from having lots of fun initially suddenly I didnt feel like logging on anymore, the game that had me hooked became boring for me and i didnt feel like playing. So i had to choose unsubscribe or maybe try to find a server with more people. of course I chose to roll to another server, but i didnt have a lvl 50, just a few lobie toons. For someone with multiple level 50's etc.. I cant imagien havign to suddenly re-roll leavign behind such a big investment of time. but re the other points you make, tbh so far I am enjoying rolling new toons, i have 3 lvl 50's now and 1 of every other class most in the high 40's but yes I do find that suddenly when I get to 50 the game for some reason seems to really dry up for me. The point that really gets me is that thsi problem is so needless. atm there are lots of people who would/could enjoy in this game but are restricted by lack of ppl to enjoy it with.
  13. btw op ignore the trolls, they are most likely very young and havent learnt to look at situations from other peoples perspectives. Most people with some common sense can appreciate that this situation is a catastrophe. There are literally hundreds-thousands of players (who otherwise really enjoy this game) but are unable to because of biowares handlng of this mess, and they cannot even look forward to a possible resolution as bioware are silent on this subject. So the game loses players it otherwsie woudl keep, this really is madness.
  14. bioware silence on this is a disgrace, internally their management needs some serious attention. Their lack of communication on this is frankly amazing.
  15. lol i notice somehtign similiar when I was questing. Randomly my character woudl stop talking (i couldnt hear them say anything and they didnt appear to speak only make odd hand gestures. lol
  16. bottom line is bioware has handled this issue very badly indeed. Of all the cons of swtor this oen issue has probably cost them more subs then any other factor, as people who genuinely enjoy the game simply cannot tolerate dead servers for long. So people either re-roll to another server (for some this simply isnt an option) or they will un-sub. Maybe when they un-sub they plan on coming back when servers merge etc.. but by then they are probably into another game and just forget about swtor. Personally I think this game is fantastic, its not perfect and wont suit everyones taste but I love it. However their handlign of server population has been utterly woeful and hugely damging to the game and its reputation. I woudl rarely say such a thing but the management responsible for the handling of this needs some serious scrutiny.

    i said this in another thread before, i don't have a 50 merc but i think its silly that every class in the game has a specific interrupt ability except mercs. That really doesn't feel right

  20. well coming from the one who if i recall said something like %95 of republic play sentinels....... i will go against my better judgment and post a reply. 'Now, i have no problems with marauders/sentinels, i beat them on my operative, assassin, and sorc heal hybrid. ' so what exactly is your problem then? In group pvp, this means healers, marauder get out of jail free cards are OP. If i was about to die, i force camouflage which gives my healer plenty of time to catch up. When im about to die a second time i use Undying rage with a medpack... which gives my healer plenty of time.... when im about to die a 3rd ! time force camo is back up... which leaves me to die a 4th time (if you don't miss the window of oportunity till my cds come back up) any class getting spam healed will not die, if you are fighting teams that leave a healer to free cast with out shutting them down or at least disruptign them then they are clearly not very good and so dont provide a very good example to base a nerf thread on.
  21. well 'the huge influx of mara's in WZ's is not just coincidence', no I dont think it is a coincidence. I think it may be a result of a 'perception' that maras are overpowered. Alongside a sharp increase in mara numbers I notice sharp increase in jugernaught and powertech numbers also, like maras I dotn believe they are partcuarly Op either. I actually think a well played sniper is an incredibly effective class, but still they are an ultra rare breed in pvp (on my server) Well you may not be askign for nerfs but instead adjustments, but thats not what dominates these forums, instead it is more alogn the lines of maras are grossly op and need a huge nerf. Vast majority of these threads have somethign in common, and that is you can se very early the op is almost clueless and doesnt even understand the class they want to have nerfed.
  22. well honestly and objectively as I can be I disagree with 'support the fact something probably needs to be done' (if by fact you mean mara is OP). Simply because there is a perceived imbalance doesnt mean there is one. Like I say a lot, maras HARD counter casters, and whats the most popular class in the game? Also snipers HARD counter mara/sents and how many of those do you see kicking around?
  23. tbh yes that is a mjor shocker, as a lot of what you post tells me you dont know much about maras. e.g Ravage can stop a person from moving, yeah thats right, if a carnage mara specced into, rage and anni maras cannot root you with ravage.
  24. well highlighting that word means you miss the point i was making. Not whether mara/sent are op but does there really need to be so many threads about the same thing
