The more I think about it, the more I rather they do this over nerfing DC or nerfing the reduction in action cost it gives a deception spec. Could feel like a nerf in general, but in the long run I think things will balance out as they tweak.

With the things I like to use situationally but not all the time along with the things I use ALL the time, I finally broke down and got a Razer Naga at lunch. (Actually using it at work right now just to try to get used to the feel) Anyway. Curious on what some of you have on it, VS on your keyboard and in general how you like it.

Maybe I missed it but I though this "nerf" was only in the description and not in function yet? Only reason it bugs me is I was just learning how to handle something one way and now I will have to go back and change what I am doing. Not that big of a deal, really. But maybe by changing just the description; maybe they are still looking at why a pure build is not as desirable and thats why they haven't changed the function yet?

You don't need to go to fleet to set your legacy name. I did it right after Zash while still in the temple. I just opened my talent tree window and it popped up to enter legacy. It is pointless, but then it doesn't really bother me much

If they want to kill "hybrid" builds, I hope they at least leave the bottom parts of each tree that would be reachable by say, 10 points or less not so limited seeing as you are going to have a few leftover points after filling a tree and then maybe a little more so you are not limited to pretty much being COMPLETELY identical and just throwing away the extra points. I mean, why even bother having a talent tree if you don't want people to be creative? What makes the talents any different than choosing advanced classes if you can't customize a bit? I don't know. Its just making me not care for the talent system after already sitting there looking at something like Hollow on the Darkness line which you could get by level 26/27 yet can only make use of half of what it does for you since the other half relies on an ability you don't get until level 50.

This That said, I too am waiting for a little difference. Assasins of my level, don't quite look like me cause I have a Twi'lek, therefore they have hoods up. I do recognize other Twi'lek because they are the ones with masks on and no leku and no hoods up as well. The irony being we have all lost our leku (sp?)

This pretty much sums it up for me. You can play all the story and raids and quests and bleed the content out of this game, but from there; what stops you from just making the most of what you have on your own just as if it were a sandbox?

You could briefly give the wrong items when completing quests, just for lolz. For Example, early on Hutta and you are on your way to get the head of Nemras old accountant and you meat an old couple; the man which has been shot in the leg. I think it would be funny if you returned from the rust yards and: Man: "Ah you returned. I bet my wife you wouldn't make it. now I owe here a weeks worth of chores." Woman: "Thats my husband for you. Always looking on the bright side." Man: "Did you get those power units?" You: Right here. *pull out bag and drop it on the floor* *head rolls out* *couple screams* You: "Whoops! Wrong bag." *pick up head* *pull out power units* You: "Here you go."

Makes me wonder if maybe you were a darkness spec assassin and you pulled all the aggro, if he would be more usefull. Wouldn't be the fastest killing things but a self-heal tank along with a heal pet, I wonder how much abuse you could take.

My highest level is 22 and that is because I decided I needed to take one character up to unlock legacy before I went any further on the others. lol

Real gamers agree that this game is bad no matter how fun it is. If you think thats ok, you are a noob.

But I used to love UO. Back before there were ninjas or even paladins and necromancers. There was really "nothing to do" in that game either though unless you made something to do, but thats the beauty of UO. SWTRO is different than UO yet I can still see things being added to make it just as fun or more fun in a modern sense.

No. This isn't sarcastic at all! They are twisting peoples arms to have fun; making people just have fun despite bugs. The game IS fun, but we shouldn't allow it to be until these bugs are fixed and we should tell everyone else the same in repeated threads until they get it to.
