  1. I think this would be the optimal solution to try and please everyone. In case BW isn't able to facilitate the option to transfer to two different servers at the same time do it like this: PvP for 2 days, then RP-PvE for 2 days, then PvP again, etc. as long as necessary. Obviously you should clearly let everyone know you are doing this.
  2. Just gonna say that I ain't paying BW another cent before I get transfer option to a high pop PvP server.
  3. Bit more info since using the dev tracker seems too hard for some:
  4. Yes they have. They've basically confirmed that LC won't be getting any transfer options anytime soon.
  5. Just open transfer to some high pop PvP server like ToFN, those who don't wanna leave can always stay on LC.
  6. What you say is only actually true for the most populated realms and even there probably only for doing random lvl 50 instances, ie. places where a queue actually forms in the first place. Even in those situations the queue is most likely so small that there will be a huge variation of different roles available at different times. So no it's not about roles at the levels of the tiny player pools this kind of single server LFD is going to have. To have the problem you say makes x-realm pointless requires a much larger pool of players at the first place. I play on of the largest EU servers and even we struggle to have more than 30-40 people in the fleet at peak these days. You don't generate the kind huge pools to draw from that what you say would require. I've been leveling alts recently and there were less than 20 players from 30-40. How the hell do you think that kind of population is going to able to support any kind of grouping while leveling? And I stress again this server is one the highest populated left EU side.
  7. This. If I had to choose between BioWare only using existing SW lore or only using lore they created I would choose the latter every time.
  8. Not x-server=close to useless even on the few server with people still playing.
  9. The thing that says most about the state of this game is that BW releases the first glimpse of next major patch and that thread doesn't even reach 30 pages in 24 hours. I still remember some pre-release beta invite threads reaching 100+ pages in couple hours but that kind of interest in this game is no more. A real dead game walking here.
  10. Completely agree with the OP. This game is supposed to be about making alts and forcing you to grind through same sidequests is enough to sap out any fun out of doing so.
  11. Double maintenance just show how hard BW is working on this game. I certainly don't wanna go to something like WoW where there is hardly any maintenance at all.
  12. This. In reality WoW actually has less real people playing that SWTOR does.
  13. At this rate there won't be anyone left to unsub!
  14. I think like fine wine this game will only get better the less subs it has. Only when it has like 200k subs left can you really taste that briary aftertaste on your tongue.
  15. Ding dong the witch is dead!
  16. I'm pretty happy with the UI now but there is always room for improvement of course! What I would like to see is ability to copy hotkeys from one character to another at least.
  17. I already replied to this earlier but having since seen the last 3 planets currently in the game I want to add something. Make more planets like Voss, Tatooine and Taris, ie. planets that have distinct charactheristics of their own. These planets feel unique, unlike pretty much all the rest in the game which are either grass planets with slighty different color scheme, or city planets which look and feel even more alike.
  18. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan so just the name of a planet doesn't really do much for me. What I would like to see is way more alien planets than we have now. I would like to see forest planets, water planets, hot infernos, and stuff even more alien planets like planets where life is based on silicon, diamond planets, planets where the other side is scorching hot and the other side is eternal darkness, etc. Just make it something else than endless plains with slightly different colored grass.
  19. Do you need official word that pressing the play button launches the game too? Seriously, they implement combat logs and you think they need to verify that you don't get banned for using that information?
  20. Pros: 1. The event made the game feel more than it has felt probably since launch. 2. I liked the mystery and discovery involved. It was good that there eg. wasn't a NPC in the fleet who would give you a quest to go to the crash site. 3. It encouraged player interaction in the form of world PvP. I hope the couple whine threads I have seen here dont discourage you from doing this in the future, if there are any PvE server specific issues fix those seperately. 4. The plague itself was a cool thing since it a dynamic element that players could use to make their own gameplay with. 5. Well obviously I liked the unique items and codex entries. 6. I liked that the event had a personal progression for you though I think all the dailies should have had codex entry associated with them to explain things bit better like the earlier ones. Cons: 1. I think the event might have been a tad bit too short. I would probably preferred if it had been about week longer. On the other hand at least this way it stayed rather fresh. 2. This game has made a big deal about voice acting and cutscenes and in that regard this event was pretty basebones. 3. I REALLY didn't like how the companion customi appearances where behind RNG, when you had very limited time to collect DNA samples and you couldn't trade them with other players. On the positive side at least they were legacy bound. 4. As casual player I didn't have lvl 50, and I'm not in a guild so finding raids for the world bosses felt too time consuming for me and I had to unfortunately skip that part of the event. 5. Would be nice if you could code the social items so that they were either light, medium or heavy as according to your class. I have about same number of pros and cons, but that doesn't mean I didn't like the event, one the whole it was a great experience and I hope you continue with these kinds of things in the future!
  21. Selling stuff cheaper than you is griefing? That word has lost all meaning by now.
  22. There is still over 40 hours to the deadline they gave so stop whining.
  23. I'm glad they are trying to strengthen the parts of the game that seperate them from the competitioners instead of adding new raids etc. which tiny part of the playerbase see.
