  1. Guardian armorings, guardian hilt. The guardian mods are usually fairly even split of STR/End, whereas the armorings tend to be very high end/str, opposite of might. This is, of course, if you're going immortal. As others have posted above, relics will boost your end as well.
  2. Expanding on this post, in which Alarae is dead on. Once your accuracy hits 100%, you can pick up dreadnaught, for higher overall dmg, by dropping some/all points in accuracy. Decimate is pretty good for aoe threat. It still isn't nor will it ever be, charge, aoe, afk break, though. The hybrid specs are very "busy" to play, and the increase in survivability is marginal, unless you play it exceptionally.
  3. 1. LUL Scinald, well played. 2. OP, I've seen crits of 2500-3900 that happen regularly. I did crit a sage the other day for 4200ish, but I think he was in pve gear, or just had really low expertise. Usually 1100-1500 non-crits are the norm.
  4. Pretty sure the set bonus of the WH gear is like the Camp. gear. Set bonus is tied to the armoring. Basically you'll have the Eliminators' set skin, with the medic set bonuses. This is just my understanding of the notes.
  5. Multiple classes can do the same story quest, but only one advances his. This happens to the instance owner. First in finishes his mission, you guys all port out, and the next guy goes first. Rinse, repeat. Or, you can all solo your story missions after the first guy goes, and you know there's no combat.
  6. All of the reusables require biochem to use.
  7. That's it. I'm disappointed and have been hovering my mouse over the x next to artifice on the crew skills window for weeks, since I heard about the changes. It's not just enhancers, it's focii, sabers, shields, and hilts. You cannot learn anything from gear that was present before 1.2. I'd have already dropped artifice, if not for the fact that biochem has lost its draw for me, with the rakata stims/medpack/adrenal being the last of the endgame reusables that will ever exist. Synthweaving is looking better and better each day.
  8. I've fought with myself on this as well. Free chilling scream is always nice when you're rage starved trying to control 3-5 adds in Ops. My issue with it is backhand does so little threat now, it went from being a staple attack, to another filler threat attack, between crushing blows. This is at least for my own experience from a whopping 4 hours of tanking gameplay till the servers blew up. I'm sure we'll have tweaks to do here and there with the 1-2 points that can be floated in the 31/x/x builds, and individual play styles and group makeup will also add variables to the decisions.
  9. This. Dps classes, with high burst should expect to pull, always. If they don't, that's swell, if they do, they should reduce their threat, and pop a cooldown till the mob is taunted. This generally happens once. Either the dps dies, or the taunt launches the tank back to the top of the list, ahead of them. A repair bill is one of the best ways to instruct dps on threat management.
  10. I ran with the build you posted last night, with 2/2 decimate, 1/2 ravager (was a throwaway point for me) and had good results. My reasoning was that with the +50% threat on Crushing Blow, the extra 4% dmg and cooldown reduction on Ravage was a sidegrade. Since our aoe threat gen has always been on the "meh" side, I opted for the Sweeping Slash and Smash damage, since I keep it up on bosses anyway, so why not buff it. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the multi-packs stuck to me in EC. Our dps usually knee-jerks their AOE's, so with the usual rotation for aoe, I did much better than the pre-1.2 31-7-2 build I had.
  11. You can't transfer the columi set bonus over. It's tied to the shell, which you can't do anything with. New drops of columi will be exactly the same as the pre-1.2 version. Set bonus only transfers with the armorings in Campaign gear.
  12. Think i saw it in the patch notes, but you can't friends to your list if they are offline. I thought it was changed.
  13. Old endgame gear had the set bonus tied to the armor shell, not the armoring. It cannot be moved. The swappable set bonus is for the new tier of gear released this patch.
  14. the "coming soon" part of the legacy interface adds xp buffs (pvp, flashpoint, or quests?) that you can buy for legacy alts. As of right now, there's no xp buff, but the characters you level will gain presence, from previous maxed out companions on higher chars. Other than the performance upgrade for your companions on legacy alts, that's about all there is currently.
  15. no, NONE of the rakata is changing. period. ever. (from what they have posted on pts)
  16. They actually reverted the changes to the Rakata gear. It will be the same in 1.2 The upper tier is improved and itemized much much better for juggernaut tanks, at least. As far as pulling mods/enhancers out, you are correct, aside from the fact that until we have a set of the new tier gear, we won't have a set bonus without wearing rakata or columi--the armorings don't carry the set bonus, the shell does.
  17. Since you made this post, I think you'll be disappointed.
  18. I manage to pop on at least an hour or two every day, raid 2 days a week, and that's about it. My interest in pvp is nil, but leveling the other faction is quite fun. I'm not looking at 1.2 as the savior patch. I don't think 1.2 will fix much of anything that's wrong with the game, aside from adding a few more things to do, like the new WZ, FP, and OP. The game needs more fluff, and mid-game activities, to keep the more casual players playing. The game needs more stuff to challenge the unburdened players (no family, college age, etc) that prefer to be on the cutting-edge of gaming in pvp and pve. Until they catch up to that goal, which I'm sure they have already set for themselves, the game will still do well, but not have explosive sub numbers.
  19. Unless you mean the +10 presence buff per companion on subsequent characters you unlock, you're in error here. The permanent stat increases happen ONCE, and can be done on your main character, by finishing the different companion storyline conversations and missions. It's all in the tooltips you can pull up on google if you need confirmation.
  20. No, coming "soon" in 1.3.
  21. From what I've seen, and haven't really been paying attention, the c/d starts immediately.
