  1. Hi. I played Rage jugg, right from lvl 10 up. I've messed around with vengance some. I quit last april. At the time I was doing well with gear, was battlemaster with a couple champ pieces that had power instead of crit. Now I get back and I'm getting owned and not hurting anyone. Is rage still viable? How much expertise should I have? Some of the WH gear has stats that don't look very good for smash build- should I get them anyway?
  2. I hate this spec. No interceptor??? Stagger over improved sunder? A point in Unyielding? @ OP. Stick to the cookie cutter Rage spec, 5/2/31 I guess now with the training dummies maybe people could prove that Dreadnaught is too good to pass up, but I've never had it with rage before.
  3. I tried to edit it to correct the spelling. ah well. How come pooled hatred doesn't work? It works on impale and shatter and ravage though, right? Do you play with pooled hatred dracosz?

  6. I thought the new battle master gear was supposed to be really sweet? To me, seems like each piece is still an incremental upgrade from Champion and many pieces reduce power or reduce crit? I'm rage spec, so I'm chasing power, but to me it looks like the same game of swapping mods to increase power? Only now, the mods come with tons of expertise or strength on them... What are people doing as they gear up? I thought 1.2 was supposed to change our BM gear to come with more power without mod swapping? And why are poeple complaining about gear gaps?? Everything seems like it was before, each piece is like a 3-4 stat upgrade, except expertise?
  7. You guys sound like baddingtons. Which is realistic because I beat every juggernaut I fight usually so no wonder.
  8. If you're rage it's easy to make them run away, hard to kill them. For a mara, I'd start out with a sunder then force crush > obliterate > smash/scream > choke > push > force leap > smash You will want to be popping trinkets or something and if you start seeing numbers like "45" when you hit him, save your smash/scream for later because he has a cooldown that keeps your damage low like that. They are easy enough other than their defensive cool downs.
  9. Is the 4 rage taking into account the Rage spec talent that reduces activation cost? So it heals you for 450, that doesn't seem too bad. Since I'm rage spec I often check Highest Hits to see how I stacked up and many guys never even get the 2.5k medal, so to my eyes thats a pretty good % of damage reduced coming in. Maybe I'll even get heal medals with it over the course of a match. How long is the Cooldown on it? Is the buff removed if you reach 0 rage and it tries to heal you? Or does it stay on full 10 seconds regardless and you just don't get any health if you have 0 rage? Can you right click the buff to remove it if you want? In all honesty I am unconcerned with PVE so I may be biased against maximizing damage per second. To me adding 3 seconds on to my smash/scream combo is pretty minor, I'll probably start using Viscous slash in there now. I can now use my smash/scream combo far more often because of the buff to Enrage. The 10% reduction to Decimate is pretty gay. Maybe will be harder to get the 5k medal now.
  10. I think the removal of Force Alacrity is pretty sad but the buff to Enrage and the new self heal I think are great Lets wait and see how the self heal works?

  13. Are you *********** kidding me? Our stun isn't the same as there stun because of what level you get it before you're 50? AND HEROIC MOMENT? *** does that have to do with anything????? We're sith warrior tanks, like Darth Malgus, the RP *********** talent is because of the RP ability to take a beating. You're reasoning is bad. You're seriously saying our 1minute stun isn't like their 1 minute stun because of levelling and a gimmick role playing skill that has nothing to do with pvp. Well boo *********** hoo it's channeled. It also puts a damage DOT (does the other guys) that does decent damage for a stun on them and for tanks (which you're talking about) it's not channelled... And we're not talking about 1.2 because who knows how good/bad the self heal is going to work out. We may become super durable because of it. *edit, I insulted your intelligence not to make me feel better (how would it) I did it because you're the guy saying 2+2=3.
  14. You are a fool if you think a assassin is just as good if not better. They can get across the final ramps and the finish line nicely but how do the carry it across the map? They dont have good mitigation. And I regularily get across the finish line for free because an enemy lets me leap to them. A jugg + a sorc is amazing at getting the ball to the finish line. And *** you mean about marauders killing everything? Lol. They kill as well as anything sure. I'm tired out hearing about supposedly godlike marauders. Assassins are more of a problem by far than marauders.
