  1. Huh? I've done "maaaaaaaybe" 5 HM's ever, and I rock at pvp. I've done 2 flashpoints. On the contrary, if you DO pvp in the gear you get from pve dailies/hm's you get your butt handed to you, lol. The PvE stuff stinks compared to the pvp gear for pvp. Z
  2. This happened to us several times yesterday too... we'd have the boss near death and he'd reset. It makes one want to scream. Z
  3. Also be wise about who (if anyone) you guard. If your healer (or main tank if you are the off tank) is dying regardless of the reason, put your guard on them. However, if you're the MT and YOU are dying, don't guard anyone. Z
  4. Is it possible the items they "RE" into are a bit different? Z
  5. This is pretty common, and the reason I've never bought a collectors edition in any game... the items are all eithe rpurely cosmetic and can't be used in combat without lowering your skill, or they're only good for 10-15 levels. Z
  6. You can't drop aim and pickup endurance, any item that has end will also have aim... but some items have a little more aim, a little less end and a damage mod, and others have a little less aim, a little more end, then a tanking mod. Use the former for dps, the latter for tanking. Z
  7. I have an orange blaster that I modded on my own. It's a combo of items taken out of Champion pvp gear (with all def attributes, no accuracy or alac, I think from a supercommando item? ) and a couple I grabbed from AH. It has all aim/end/shield and abs. Z
  8. I don't think he's trolling, he's just naive'. Z
  9. If you can't make Implants yet, level up, you will be able to soon. I've made millions selling them. I make the best buck selling level 21, 29, 39 and 45 purples... mostly because hardly anyone else sells them. I agree with most of the above, but would list everything for two days. A LOT of the stuff will sell the 2nd day and you're wasting a LOT of time replacing them every day. Finally, you only have to hover your mouse on the selling price of a stack of items on the AH and it tells you the average price per piece, no need to count and divide, etc.. Z
  10. Enhancements and crystals (L 49-50)sell for 70,000-90,000 credits on my server, and "the good ones" are always sold out. Lower level purples sell for $30,000 or so... there's wealthy art's here. Of course the people supplying them with mats do even better. Z
  11. ZNICK

    New Hutthack hack

There's also lag and latency differences between what players do and see. Z
  12. I think a combo of the two, once you're nearing diminishing rewards of Expertise... Z
  13. It's called PRACTICE... and is the basis for almost anyone successful in most any of life's endeavors. You put in more time, you get better skilled and get better stuff. That's life, deal with it. Z
  14. PT's are great in PvP, lol! They do plenty of damage if specced DPS, can soak up damage and be hard as hell to kill if specced Tank, and when specced hybrid can be one of the meanest classes there is. Incredible mobility, the ability to guard others... has the OP even PLAYED one? It doesn't sound like it, heh. Z
  15. I'm pretty sure the one dev post saying "it's not working as intended, we'll fix it in a patch" was posted a couple weeks ago and they've already fixed it, lol. Stop making problems when there ARE NONE! I RE'd blues to purple as well as greens to blues YESTERDAY. They didn't say they'd make every 3rd one a success... just "not as intended". I'm pretty sure now it's fine. (based upon my own successes and the posts above) The sky is not falling Chicken Little! Z
  16. I sell 3-5 of these a day on the GTN... easily. I average from 29 to 50k each. I guess it's all those non-intelligent people buying them, lol. People spend the comms on armor pieces long before implants, and many of what we make is really high quality as well. If you get lucky and "crit" one (giving it an extra augment slot) you can easily get 100k-150k credits on the GTN. Each green can be RE'd to make 3 different blues. Each blue can be RE'd to make 5 purples. That's a lot of implants. I suggest you also consider learning the lower levels, I can get 20k for almost any of them, since nobody else makes the lower lev purples. I am aiming for 2-3 different ones (some with aim, cunning, str, etc) at around levels 21, 29, 39, 45 and of course 49. Z PS- it also doesn't take all that many tries if you get a tad lucky, but it can be frustrating on dry spells. The lower lev ones seem much easier.
  17. OP, you talk a lot about "full Cent gear", keep in mind the Champion gear is better. (for most pieces) I say "for most pieces" because there's one or two that the Champ piece loads up on Acc, while the Cent doesn't, you may choose to wear the Cent piece instead, or at least swap out the Champ mod that has 40+ accuracy. Defense and Absorption, while king in PvE doesn't do much in PvP. You're better off putting the stats into DPS or End. Endurance is almost never wasted in PvP. While the Eliminator set is very good (IMO the best set) for the PT build, you still should stand back and see how you play. If you're guarding and always running the ball and not doing as much attacking, OR you find you're just not using RS like you could be, or you use Rocket Punch a lot more, then maybe the +5% damage to all or the RP boost may be better for you. You also only need 4 pieces for the +15% bonus to RS, so you may want o go a different route with the other two, depending on playstyle. Like I said above, a few pieces of Champ gear REALLY load up on the accuracy. (I believe it's the chest and boots?) I usually replace that piece with a new mod that has no accuracy and more crit and/or power and surge. Also, I prefer not to use the Eliminator blaster. I don't remember if it's the Combat Medic or Tech one, but it'll give you more crit or surge rather than the power the Eliminator provides. I like crit/surge better myself. I also don't use the Eliminator set gloves or belt, I found/made better. Z
  18. And since the whole population will be looking for re-usables we can make a FORTUNE selling them.! Z
  19. Shotguns? Where did you get them? If you crafted them then you should be able to. Are you making them? Buying them? Z
  20. I think the main reason (or one of them) the items are BoP is so we don't have level 11 characters making top tier items. Many games force you to be a certain character level to create certain tiers of goods. There's no level restrictions here, but it forces the top level crafters to level to 50 if they want to complete. Z
  21. LOL... if you don't PvP you don't need any medpacks so where's the beef? Going back to WoW is like... like... um. Eww. Z
  22. PVE or PVP? (EDIT: doh, didn't see "pvp" in title) Z
  23. Same reasoning why "some people" on these forums are jerks... they don't have certain life skills. Z
  24. If you're not able to solo it wait a while and come back with better gear. When I was lev 46-47 or so I tried it and couldn't scratch them. (well I could, but nowhere near winning) I died 8-9 times and gave up. I forgot about it and kept playing, leveled a bit, got some pvp gear, some better mods, weapons, etc., and yesterday went back and tore them apart. I didn't "do" anythng different, I was just geared better. I'm guessing the people here dying are too low lev or just need to gear up. The ones saying "it was easy" likely had better stuff. Z
  25. I think the real answer to the OP is "those things are available and craftable, but most crafters won't/don't waste their time, credits and mats to craft the high-end low level items". Why bother wasting resources RE'ing low level blues over and over to get a low lev epic that will be used for 4-5 levels? (2-3 days) Who would buy them if they did? Until level 50 it doesn't really matter what gear you have anyway, you can EASILY level to 50 in all greens, so why bother? Level up, there's plenty of what you want at level 50. Z PS- I TOTALLY disagree that crafting can't make you money/profits, or that crafting is a money sink. If so, you're doing it terribly wrong. I have have millions of credits banked from crafting and selling things on the AH. (but that's another discussion) I've also never spent more than 8,000 to repair, but meh.
