  1. It pretty much goes unnoticble especially since it doesnt stack w/ sprint ot trancendence. I wish Zen instead of reducing focus cost of Blade rush slash(when Shi-cho puts slash at no cost) would increase accuracy or damage for direct damage made from the increased accuracy
  2. Um yes they should do better DPS especially when they have offhand gear that enables them advantages that DPS who duel weilds dont have access two. because of gear restriction. Off hand does do damage. Thing is. it only does around what. 30% percent of the mainhand lightsaber AFTER you put 3 skill points in Duel Weild Master at. The shield generators and stealth generators boost and buff up defense with their stat increases. And lets them able to create a energy sheild to absorb damage. That combined with heavier armor. And having the capability to do the same amount if not more damage is a unfair advantage. Which was something being complained about before Launch. Why should Sents who sacrafice survivbility to be pure DPS not have higher DPS outputs. It doesnt make sense. Look at the gunslinger class and its mirror class. Their offhand weapon damage ration is alot closer than the sents is. Which for range vs Melee doesnt really make sense. cuz they would end up putting out more damage. And how was the other stuff wrong. Ataru form does increase accuracy by 3%. Zen doesnt compliment what Ataru doesnt like how Zen compliments Shi-cho and Juyo form. It gives a decrease in focus cost for practically the same move that shi-cho has at no cost what so ever. Zen for Ataru should have further increase what Ataru was going with for the accuracy points for direct damage. Combat form should of had nothing but direct damage skills.
  3. OFF HAND LIGHTSABER. iT DOES AROUND 36 PERCENT OF THE OFFHAND. damage yet you increase it by 36 max in the skill tree. It doesnt make sense if your ask me. Also Make zen actually do something to aid Ataru form. Give us greater accuracy so we can do more direct damage

  6. Issue 1# Damage Scaling They purposly gimp our damage in our offhand weapon for other classes two compete with us in DPS. But they fail to realize that other classes get Shield generators and Stealth generators as an added bonus. For greater protection and greater stealth ability than we have. With the Guadian if they go they DPS route they still get a Sheild Generator for added defense yet able to compete with us in DMG. Why because our offhand light saber does around 28-36 damage from our Main hand light saber while Guadians and other single weapon classes have meatier damage in their single weapon. BUT they have added bonus of stealth and and shield generators for protection. Combine that with our low survibility and you have class that can't do their job as it was originaly planed to be done. (Just tossing out numbers right now) Juggs vs Sents Dmg capabilities and offhand gear. Lets say a Jugg can do around 600 Dmg (Pri) while a Sent can do 500 (Pri) with 150(Sec) on the damage scale. ( may be wrong but this is from hours of looking at what dmg pops up when what light saber hits. It seems the 450ish hits from the main while the off hand does 150. So if the juggs swipes his single light saber once. he will do around 550 Damage. If the Sent swipes his light saber both he woll do around 600 damage. Jugg 550 Sent (600) while we do end up doing "more" damage its not by alot or any good range that makes much of a different. Now here is the kicker. Sheild Generator for extra padding docking away a good percentage of what our damage does and have to fight through. Now top that off with the heavy armor padding it shows that we are quite obsolete. While we do have our Defensive CDs so do juggs and other classes to further boost their defense. Quick fixes. Dont jsut Increase our Dmg out put. Actually Scale our offhand weapon to be that. An offhand weapon that does actual damage to be able to compete with other classes offhand gear. If sents damage scaling was like 450 (pri) w/a 350(sec) For when the jugg does a 600 strike for when we strike for a total of around 800. When we do fight through their generators and heavy armor the damage can actually be competitive. in which the skill in applying CD's roots,stuns, knock backs, and gap closers can come into play. While we are going to do about a more of damage. That will be filtered out through their heavy armor and their generators. Not to mention their CD's and beefier endurance. Same thing can be applied with stealth classes and their better mobility. It seems most classes by observation has some type of healing ability that they can apply to themselves along with longer stealth. With our lack of ability to heal ourself. They can easily pop in their stealth heal up right quick and do some major burst damage out of thier cloak w/ some prep while we have to sit around and look stupid waiting to give out some more medicore damage. Combat vs Watchmen. It turning out for Combat to be more of a Pvp class while Watchmen to be the PVE class. As time moves on its seeming more apparent that watchmen is outclassing in both. Reason being is we rely on duel weilding with the damage coming from our offhand saber more than Watchmen. If your look at the beginning tier of Combat spec There is a little something called Duel weilding mastery. Which buffs up our off hand lightsaber. A spec more so made for combat spec. We have to burst our damage out. Really hard when our 2nd weapon does very little damage. The reason why Watchmen excells is because they have sustained damage that doesnt rely on the offhand weapon that much. It comes from burns and the ability to heal themselves. They hit you once theymget their base burst plus their DOTS. We only get our medicore burst due to our 2nd hand weapon doing squat even once we popped in our 3 skill points in Duel weild mastery( I have no idea what type of damage the offhand would do if we didnt have this in the first place.) If they boosted the offhand damage overrall we would be able to compete better with the damage from the watchmen tree. Now you can make the argument that a watchmen can as easily get their duel weild master in from that tree. But so can combat gett their talents frm their tree as well. Equal trade. Further more in the Combat vs Watchmen scheme. is Ataru vs Juyo They both gain added damage in a way. Juyo gets an extra 2% damage increase with the ability to stack. Ataru gets the accuracy increase. Now with Juyo the damage increase goes along with their DOTS and they get further burst for their dots being able to be sustain. It floats all over their skill tree as a watchmen. With Combat not many of our specs allow us to capitalize on the accuracy bonus. Just percision strike which has a pretty beefy cool down with a short span to use the technique. Zen further and better assist the juyo form by increasing crits and granting heal for the party. Zen on the other hand decreases focus count for blade rush and slash along with a .5 gbc. If your ask me it kind of goes in the opposite direction of what Ataru form does. Especially if Shi-cho does it better with no cost for slash being able to spam it for the duration. With Slash. While you get a -1 on focus cost on the same ability. If you ask me. Zen for ataru form should have further boosted the accuracy of the attacks so we could gain even more direct damage and increase the chance for another ataru strike for the energy dmg dealing actual damage as well. Having those abilities coincinde with one another. That is real burst damage that can compete with Sustained. As you can see where this is all going. How do you expect for the Sentinel class to be balanced with other classes when the balance inside the class is lopsided in itself. Especially with Ataru form. Ataru form needs more accuracy bonus to boost direct damage And the best way I see it done is in possibly using Zen and combat trance. While in Zen you accuracy is increase. Combat trance can do what it already does but increase direct damage would be nice as well. If combat and ataru form trully suppose to be knitted together. I beleive the centering buffs should indeed buff up what ataru actually does. (I know not the best grammar and spelling is used. been off of work and sick all week and the only thing I can do is talk star wars) So lets discuss this. issue.
  7. Hey I know what they can do. Fix our offhand lightsaber. I been going around asking people that have offhand weapon what is their pri and sec dmg. And theirs seem to be alot closer than sents. Why does the Pri light saber does like 550-600 dmg while Sec does around 150-175. It doesnt make sense to me.They definetly need to boost it up. When I see the buff on the skill tree. I have it maxed at 36 percent damage. Which makes me think if I didnt have it maxed out what kind of damage will it be doing. Cuz right now it does about 36 percent damage. It t did about 75 percent damage of our Main hand that would boost it to what (Pri Dmg) 600 (Sec DMG) 450 It would be pretty vible as a Pure DPS class. When i look at our abilities. It said Leadership...and group buffs.. and im like this is not what I signed up for as a Pure DPS. Class.

  9. The force is not strong with you? Doc kira. Doc Kira. Kira for smaller mobs. Kira for elites Take aggro from Doc when your about to die. force camo and wait til doc heals your then go back in ad finish them off
  10. I dont get it. Since when did have a lightsaber stop a jedi from using Force push or pull. We should have got force pull though. to close gaps better. Now supposdly for Guards your force push is going to clear the CD for force Leap. Sounds amazing for you. Also for Guard who wants to be a viable DPS class. Maybe they should pull out another lightsaber and put away that sheild generator
  11. I have another question. Dont wanna make another thread for it. If you decide to drop a crafting skill to pick up another one will it start back from the beginning if you decide to switch back. Im still not sure why we have two resource collecting but only one craft skill.
  12. Will it be possible to ever make gear thats better or on par w/ The EPic gear. Cuz if we cant. I really dont see the point in crafing other than making money on lowbies. I think it would also help the asethetics department. If you dont like the endgame gear. Make your own.

  14. No dumb down. Just satisfaction. BUFF OUR DANG OFFHAND SABER. It damage is crap. It makes no sense for a class with an offhand gear being focus, sheild generator or stealth. to do just as much if not more damage than a class utilizing two weapons to deal out DPS. Its like they purposly cut down the damage so other classes to be viable as us in hat degree. When really it kills us cuz thats the only thing we can do. Even hybrids. We can only deal damage. The stat in our offhand weapon can even exceed or mainhand and guess what Mian hand still does more damage easily. Its a big gimp in my eyes. Give us another gap closer. Long range classes should have two of them while we have one. Give us force pull back. Longer Force Camo. It would make it easier to not be seen till we get into range and set our selves up for success. Also cut down our CD times for breakers. We have to stay skillful and mobile.
  15. The bolster stat does help you out quite abit. So being 10 lvls below doesnt really mean much. When stats arent bolster in world pvp. Thats when true skill comes into play when fighting a higher lvl. Getting your Damage outhealed while having doc heal you. Be set for being in for a long fight. 2 on 1 fight and it still took me forever to kill a sorc who was 1 lvl higher than me cuz of his healing. and popping out of stealth.. Finaly stacked up my focus interupt his healing applied cauterize and cripple throw and force stasis to reinterupt and took a huge chunk out of his life with master strike. when he started to run with his leg between his tails all across tatooine where I chased him down whooping his *** till i finaly killed him. thinsg that will fix our class and have us do our roles correctly as a Melee PURE DPS class. 1. Our offhand weapon being scaled correctly. It does crap dmg in all honesty. 2. We should get a better speed boost. 3. Force Camo to be extended cuz it useless at 4 seconds. 4. Have our stuns work on elites pvp. 5. And give us another gap closer. We should have gotten a force pull 6. Shorter cool downs for defense and CC breaks. 2.

Is our offhand weapon scaled horribly compared to other classes.(Yes) 4.Does it make since that other classes have a Sheild generator or stealth generation as their offhand gear to do Just as much dmg as us and even more plus have a defense boost(No) 5. Does it make since for us two have one gap closer when other classes have two when we are the melee class.(No) 6. Does it make sense for other classes to have more stuns and roots to keep a person in place when they are a ranged class over melee(No) 7. Does it make sense for our Combat animation to stutter when we are a underdamage DPS class where every second count cuz were melee.(No) 8. Does it make sense that since we are melee that we have to perform multiple steps compared to the few steps other classes have to perform to max out damage.(no) Im sorry. But Sentinel is quite broken as it stands. Manageble only with someone who knows how to do their job as a healer and you are amazing at the broken class while the opponent sucks. The fact that I was a lvl 45 Sent going against a 46 Sorc in world pvp. And they were able to outheal my dmg says alot. Only reason I survived is because for some reason they didnt have their companion out while I had Doc out. Finaly out dmg the person with leaps cripple throws choppng down their healing. Leg slash interrupts. DOTS as a combat to negate their Stealth. And using my stealth to throw them off. I literally had to use EVERYTHING In the book. Now im not going to lie. Im not the best MMO person considering this is my first. But i learn quite quickly and have an amazing insight on things. But this should not happen.I shouldnt have to use every skill twice to kill someone who is one lvl ahead of me and is mainly healing after their lightning tricks couldnt kill me cuz i had doc and im no longer a noob.

  19. Harder to play and being more complex has nothing to do with our long our CDs are and for how long they last. How badly scaled are offhand DPS weapon is compared to other duel weilding glasses. Our lack off Pvp Elite stuns. The fact two of our hard hitting abilities are not useble against elite or pvp characters. The fact that the reason we dont get force pull is because other classes will have "Difficulty kiting us" yet they retain all their gap closers. The fact that we remain USELess when rooted as other classes who are long range can stilll manage yet our breakers have rediculous CD's. We are a DPS class with an offhand weapon. Not a sheild generator to increase defence or stealth. A offhand weapon lightsaber. Where the Damage is quite horrible. If it was scaled correctly like the other duel weapon classes we could do our job Correctly. But its far from that. If we could have another gap closer like every other class happens. everything that we call op would be manageble. Other classes have too many ways to keep us stationary and get away from us.
  20. For a DPS class. Let me say it. Damage Per Second Class. Thats right. DPS. Why in the world would you not correct Animation stutters. Like every second counts. So when my skill stutters around. It counts against me. Thanks for making or offhand saber for show. Thank you for giving us useless abilities that cant even be used in pvp or elite enemies. Thank you for our stunless stuns that work only on weak mobs thank you for taking away our capitalization for our immobles and stuns. I feel almost like an idiot for standing up for this game how everyone saying it is rushed its going to fail. And all the bad mouthing for it. But the more I play the more that I feel that they were right and this game should have came out a few months later. So you can clean up these bugs and animation stutters.(Balance issues aside from stat and damaging and OP classes) The last thing we need is simple reoccuring bugs to further hinder classes in this game. I can hold off on the balancing but please fix the bugs abit more quickly epsecially the ones that were quite noticble at launch.
  21. lvl 43 and I will say I have just about as much trouble killing lower levels that i do with higher levels. It seems to easy for everyone else who can just one shot me for 2-3k damage. I have to build up to the damage. I can kill people one on one higher levels present more difficulty with skill and gear. If its 3 on 1 I can kill one of them if i dont get stun and root *****. Now with my gunslinger. I can pretty much take out anyone one on one and down 2 if not all 3 of the group with some difficulty. Now id alot happier if the buffed our off handlightsaber damage. Other duel weilding classes dont seem to have that issue with their offhand weapon
  22. Correction. Bioware did it wrong. Precision slash is the only way I can really kill anything quickly which is what sents were suppose to do. Force Leap. Leg slash, Zealous slash. Blade Rush, then Blade Storm. IS the best combo to kill anything. BUT. You have With stealth. knock back sttuns and roots. Not to mention if they stealth up. Then goodbuy to any chance of landing that mess. All classes outclass JK and SW when it comes to killing someone easily.
  23. They should have put the gear in the progression trailer. ATLEAST ATLEAST we would have been repared. They could have even warmed us up to it. The little headbands wear cool. I was able to deal but now we have to wear that dumb helmet thing. for stats. If its not changed soon. I will start going into war zones clothless
