  1. I buy CCs maybe once or twice a month, if at all. I usually do fine with my monthly stipend. I'd be interested to know exactly how much the OP bought and how often he did it. Obviously a lot, if it triggered Bioware safeguards against rampant purchases.
  2. *uses important-sounding voice* Thank you for supporting Bioware's product, Star Wars: The Old Republic. Your business is important to us. We are currently looking into your problem, and will contact you with a solution. Until then, please continue enjoying Star Wars: The Old Republic as you normally would. *snickers*
  3. Someone else has access to your account. That's the ONLY possible way this could happen. Change your password immediately, and consider buying a security key. STRONGLY consider.
  4. PvP never "works" in an MMORPG. Which is why I don't play it. Getting better gear in PvP just makes you a more lazy player as you butt-stomp everyone not as well geared as you. There is NOTHING in SW:TOR PvP that encourages players to learn to play their class better, its all about the gear. Grinding for gear is a trap , cleverly designed to keep PvP players subscribing. PvP balance is a pipe dream that will NEVER be realized. But, that won't stop Bioware from continually changing aspects of it, and mucking up others.
  5. I hope you didn't hurt yourself in that HUGE leap of logic you made. If you don't show up at Bioware's Cantina Tour, does that mean you're going to unsub?
  6. PvPers are second-class citizens, everyone knows that! You must be a PvPer if you don't know that.
  7. What did you expect, that augments should be handed out free? Those guys in the warzones stomping your sorry butt had to grind for their gear as well. Whether they bought it, or made it, they had to grind for creds or resources to get/make them. If you feel like you've done enough grinding, then get used to the current state of things for your toon. Other than that, there isn't much else you can do.
  8. This is your problem that you must learn to deal with. Expecting others to change things to accommodate your dysfunctions is ridiculous. Seek professional help. Asking Bioware to control your actions will not help you. Learn to control yourself, or else you'll always find things in life out of your control.
  9. Augments will make a big difference. Yes, it is pricey, but that's why you buy a few at a time, make some more creds for awhile, buy a few more, etc. I did it myself with my Jedi Shadow, focusing on defense. Got it over 26% so far, and not done upgrading yet, saving up for all purple augments, hoping to get my defense up to 30% or more. But yes, it is well worth it. You just need to be patient and make some creds for it. Creds are not hard to make if you grind some lvl 55 dailies.

  12. Well, at least the OP isn't trying to "educate" people on proper MMO economics in a lame attempt to boost in-game profits for himself. I always laugh SO hard when I see those posts.
  13. Remember, two weeks for some kids is almost a lifetime commitment. Remember when you were 13, and used to celebrate one-week anniversaries with whomever it was you were dating? Or how being grounded for a week was the end of the world? Yup, OP must feel like EAware has completely abandoned us, and we are now MMO orphans. Two. Whole. Weeks. How can you stand the anticipation? Oh, wait, you made this post. I see what you did there.
  14. No, but Zarchon isn't such an uncommon name among RP circles.
  15. My wife couldn't roleplay to save her life, so no worries. At the very least, you know another couple on your server who is more than willing to help you and your wife get ALL your group content done. The game is more fun when shared, we don't care if its content we've run before. I hope to hear from you in-game.

  17. I look forward to our meeting. Weekly Wisdom from the Master: "It is far easier to make enemies, than it is to make friends."
  18. Well, this is a loaded question. You'll find the majority of Roleplayers are VERY clique-ish, but like every other group of people, there's a few good ones out there. Be prepared for some outrageous, or silly RP, such as players RPing pseudo-vampires, children of the Force, etc., etc. There are those RPers who stick closely to game lore, and lots who just throw game lore right out the window and RP characters with influences from outside Star Wars. Don't let the bad RPers ruin it for you. Bad RPers are usually those whose roleplay is FAR more important than cooperating with others in roleplay. Just ignore them and move on. Other than that, check out these two websites, they are the main hubs for Begeren Colony RPers, and events will be listed there: BegerenColony.org SW:ToR - roleplay Good luck to you. Be sure to add Zarchon (Republic) & Xardox (Imperial) to your friend's list, perhaps you and your wife will RP sometime with myself and my wife.
  19. Yes. This. QFT!!! I will sometimes offer players help to run a Flashpoint. I don't expect them to skip convos just because I've done it before. Try better communication. Obviously DON'T use the LFG tool if you want to skip convos. Advert in general chat that you want an Esseles run, convo skip. Or something. Brain. Use. Go.
  20. PvPers on a PvE server always make me laugh. Especially when they try to talk big about their l33t skills. Of course, should cross-server PvP ever be introduced, they'll all rage quit because they'll have to compete against REAL PvPers.
  21. 25 years old. You got trolled AND they were successful at it. They were probably 10 - 12 yrs. old themselves, and you let it get under your skin? You do know using /ignore takes less time and energy than posting here about it, right?
  22. .....like I finally found the MMO for me after 10 years of searching. I love how players rush to end-game, grind for their elite gear, then realize they have nothing left to do but the same grind they've been doing for the past months. I have my 2 lvl 55s. I'm currently grinding planetary comms for my two toons and two each of their companions before finally moving on to Illum. Yup, you read that right, I haven't even touched Illum yet. I've had these toons since last March. I play almost every day, 4 to 6 hours each time. I'm just taking my time, as I'm in no hurry to reach end-game. I hope by the time I reach Makeb (some months away, still), the next expansion planet will be coming out. If not, maybe I'll finally start those two other toons I've been thinking about. Point is, SW:TOR keeps me well-entertained, I've played MUCH worse MMOs, and I am quite content with this game.
  23. Too tedious. Highest lvl missions are WAY too difficult. Hence, I don't play them much. Maybe once every month or so, for something different. But they are not worth regular play in any way, shape, or form.
