  1. You've never seen people leave a game due to inherent faction imbalance with 2 faction systems? Really? You guys lie to yourselves so well while repubs unsub left and right
  2. Either you didn't play EQ or don't understand what aa 2 faction MMO is a 2 faction MMO is one with hard sides that cannot group, socialize, etc with eachother. Similar to two teams in Counter-Strike. EQ did not have such a system, it is not a '2 faction' MMO except on a special rules PVP server in addition to FFA PVP servers. The 2 faction MMO is a design philosophy that is proven to be a failure in MMOs. You have to go back before WoW to realize that MMOs flourished without it and that it's nothing more than a process of simplifying everything. Split a server, split the load, split the problems, etc. It's lazy MMO design. The best MMO games did not have hard factions, like EQ, Asheron's Call, etc. People complain that things like LFD erode communities, while they play MMOs where you cannot interact whatsoever with half (or 3/4 if you chose repub) of the people on their server. It's ridiculous. 2 faction is awful for MMOs
  3. It's the biggest mistake an MMO can make, and it's not easy to miss why. Every 2 faction MMO suffers from faction imbalance. No one has come out with a solution, yet people keep making 2 faction MMOs, ensuring larger imbalances every time. If I play a FPS game and get on an uneven team it sucks, but it only lasts that one round if there isn't auto balance. With a 2 faction MMO you are asking people to willingly join an uneven side for the months to years that MMOs are supposed to be enjoyed. Why would anyone do that? That's why every new MMO we see bigger faction imbalances. That is pure, utter, short sighted failure in game design. It happens in every game. So intent to copy WoW and therefore every MMO out there, Bioware made the exact same mistake. It's the equivalent of copying someone else's homework right down to their name. You done goofed.
  4. Because the stock is being shorted. Demand just went up because people are picking up the stock on margin because it is destined to fall in the coming months, where they sell and cover their position This is actually a bad sign if you know anything about how the market works
  5. One thing it has going for it is that it's poised to be the most catastrophic MMO failure in the history of gaming. It's history in the making in that respect.
  6. Back before launch? They had it in their sigs, they were so proud of themselves to have picked up a CE. I wonder how they feel now. I haven't seen any "Remorseful CE owner" sigs around but they can't be as proud to flaunt their expensive box anymore
  7. 75% of players are Imp You think they'll rollback for the insignificant number of repubs? Fat chance
  8. You can't find it cause they remove the threads for some reason. It's really a strange situation, it's like they are trying to look guilty
  9. Bioware sold out to EA, they are just a name they stick on games because people will buy them. It's their "Blizzard" only they've run it into the ground in remarkable time
  10. You are the 99% if you canceled your sub
  11. If it was such a generous act we would get it for buying the game during the launch month not for subscribing for another month of crap
  12. I unfortunately expected the game to be good, thus I was disappointed.
  13. It looks like the real thing from a distance, but then you realize everything is poorly crafted and just kind of glued on. The inner workings are just cheap versions of the real thing, the UI, the engine, etc. As if more time went into making it look authentic rather than feel authentic. Anyone else get that vibe?
  14. Nar Shadda was when I realized this is actually not a bad MMO, it's the worst MMO i've bought
