I got gold 306 gear on all my 16 characters playing story / solo content. Mod bonuses were nice. Was happy. Carried on playing story / solo content. Now I have to play content I hate to gear up again even though I was fine before? (Not that I will play it.) Mod bonuses gone. Gear trashed. Who decides what I should play? Not me it seems.

I can only assume they went through a car windshield at speed at some point.

The removal of armor and weapon mods, including the bonus stats they had at level 80 doesn't help. Level sync wasn't too bad until then. I hate level sync but I could put up with it until they trashed my gear. Low level stuff is still ok but later level stuff is just too grindy.

Glad you are in 330 gear. I'm sure as hell not on my main. My alts will take even longer. Then again, I don't play what you do. Slave to the grind I guess.

So as I am paying the same sub as you I should be entitled to less rewards because I don't play the same content as you? Yes this is an MMO but it has solo content I play constantly. Why should the gear I want affect you in any way? I won't be in your group or team because I have no interest in that content. I want the same gear to make my gaming experience better but it seems you don't want that even though it doesn't affect you at all. I geared all my characters to gold 306 playing solo / story content before update. Did that affect you? No because I don't play what you do, never will. Why do you even care what I'm doing in my game? Makes no difference to you.

I don't play them so don't care about them. That being said, for the people that do why remove them? Enough content has been taken out, why spoil it for others. So I don't get 12 points? So what? I'll get them from content I do play. May take longer but I'm in no rush.

Grindy trash mobs. Trash drops for time wasted. Really fun. No, really..... Just ran Black Talon (Story) again. Since patch I can predict which trash mob will crit me at least once. Simple answer? All of them. Even when on fire, if one of them fires a shot it's a crit. Bonus is now I miss more. Best day ever.

Same level gear should be available across all play styles. Regardless of what you play, gear should not be gated behind certain content. Everyone should have the same chance of gearing regardless of what they play. Whatever they play should not impact on the rewards for said players. That will only create a bigger divide in player base than there is already. Or ignore, whatever. Sorry, bit of a rant.

Level sync came in at a later date than I started playing. I hated it then, I hate it now. Other games I played did it and I ditched them. (Pandas didn't help) I carry on cos SW, that's all. Gearing up to max to only get chased across a planet by mobs of lower level trash is annoying. Also time consuming and pointless. Getting dismounted easily makes it worse. Gotta say, can't see it changing.

I started using a level influence 14 Z00M over a 50 Mako and did better. Probably not good, right? So, broken I reckon.

Same here. Lost GS rewards that apparently I had claimed. Reported bug. Glad it's not just me. Seems every fix for stuff I don't play breaks something I do play.

Yeah, all of the above. They were there from the start, why ruin them now? Oh and I know where my interrupt is, it just takes ages on the cooldown compared to whatever is spamming a skill on me. Known where it was from beta. Although I don't have as many now as I did since they screwed my skill trees in 7.0.

Only thing I noticed is that trash mobs and silvers, not to mention elites take three times longer to kill than just the two times longer from before. Makes upgrading my gear seemingly pointless. My upgraded Chars take just as long as those who aren't. Being hit with crits every two seconds from lower level trash mobs is cool. Especially now comps have been nerfed. Still...fun for everyone though, right?

Yeah, you need to complete the Yuun findsman quest first. I think you get it after the shared alliance quest.
