  1. Dear OP, No MMO is set in stone until it has shut down. . . . or is called Vanguard lol All MMO's are in a constant state of change/improvement. Celebrating the achievement that is SWTOR is understandable. Your anger towards it is not. Sincerely, A very happy fan
  2. I hate end game and love leveling but unfortunately I am in the minority. /sigh
  3. My cousin is the exact same way. He will be with WoW until they shut the down all the servers because he hates leveling and lives for end game. I'm the exact opposite. When I get close to level cap I start thinking which character I am going to roll next. I absolutely hate the end game hampster wheels
  4. If today were opposite day, I would completely agree with the OP. Sadly it is not and I will have to disagree . . . Rift is extremely boring to me. It is fantasy, all over again. The story is horrible and I could care less about my characters motivations. For me that is the death sentence of any RPG, even MMORPG's. With WoW, I was charmed with its Disney feel and well written questlines (for its day). Since I am a long time RPG player it is natural that SWTOR is vastly superior to Rift for me. Its not even close.
  5. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! beat to the punch lol
  6. I completely agree - this would be a great addition to the game for those of us who want to explore all the story elements and have it be challenging. About the only complaint I have had yet is that I level too fast. Amazing that.
  7. /sigh . . . I need to proofread before hitting submit . . . I meant Jawas dang it! sorry to get anyones hopes up
  8. You would love the Sith then. I'm a total magoo type so I hated being that evil and had to reroll as a Jedi Knight. The Sith Warrior gives you the chance to be a complete homicidal maniac. Plus, you get to murder Ewoks on tatooine
  9. No mods as of yet - if ever. The Naga works fine. Just make sure to put the switch on the bottom your mouse to NUM. Then go into keybinds and manually assign all of your middle quick bar slots to number pad 1, number pad 2 etc . . . Then you can assign your regular numbers 1 - 0 to any quick bar slot you want and BAM, you have enough (barely) keybinds for all your abilities. Thats how I do it anyway. Good Luck!
  10. Thats easy. With the rise of (video) games. If you don't want to have direct interaction with your entertainment then watch a movie or participate in any number of passive activities. There is nothing wrong with that. Most of those who play any sort of game require challenge. Not all but most. Its what keeps the game from becoming a bore. Boredom is definately not synonymous with entertainment.
  11. I could not agree more with the OP. Bioware had the courage to make the game fairly challenging at launch, I hope they stay the course. Removing challenge (especially elites) from most of the gameworld in WoW ruined the leveling experience. If Bioware were to dumb down the leveling challenge in this game it would be even worse since leveling is so much of a foundation to swtor. A belated +1 to the OP.
  12. So, what about the tens of thousands of other people who are casual gamers who took slicing in good faith? Will you be the one to decide who loses money and who gets to keep theirs. Or should we just take all money away from those characters who have slicing as a skill. Better yet, we should track every single AH purchase made with slicing money and and confiscate that too. Also, I think you are confused about what an actual bug or design flaw is. Slicing worked exactly the way they wanted it to at the time of launch. It then became aparent that they had not balanced it properly so they then made the adjustment. It was not broken, a bug or an exploit. Other than that, I agreed with everything you said
  13. I disagree. For me it feels like I am conducting an intricate balet of death and destruction. It feels very fluid if you don't rush or spam your attacks. It takes timing and skill and after you have deactivated your light saber(s), the resulting body count is very gratifying. Auto attack is now obsolete for me.
  14. I play a Sith Warrior. I can honestly say that auto attack would kill the gameplay for me and force me to reroll. I feel your pain but hope you don't get your way. For me the class has been a breath of fresh air for an mmo. That isn't to say that improvements aren't needed. These are early days. In a year this game will change significantly.
  15. So who exactly is the ten year old troll here?
  16. Yeah - WoW has done a great job because it is so easy to do. They haven't been balancing classes, unsuccessfully, for 7 years have they? Wait . . .slimshady is that you? Man, I can't believe I fed a troll. Oh well, might as well hit the submit button. What harm could it do?
  17. Thanks for speaking for me. Even if what you said was the exact opposite of what I would. Are you a politician?
  18. I love space combat. For no other reason than I just have fun with it and it gives me something else to do in game. To those who want a more realistic space combat sim like the classic Tie fighter games, I don't think that will happen. That sort of game just isn't popular anymore. I personally would love it - but unfortunately that is the minority opinion.
  19. I agree he was rude and for a legitimate question that is uncalled for imo. Unfortunately he was right - the developers have stated that this was a design decision so they could control the atmosphere of each zone. This was not a decision they made lightly and the interviews I have seen and read on the subject indicate in no uncertain terms that this is permanent. I did not like the decision at first but I don't even notice it now.
  20. Hopefully bioware retains their smarts and never implements a dual-class system.
  21. Best swtor forum post EVER. Me and my unholy mouse style salute you!
  22. I read an article in which devs expressed their interest in adding gray (neutral) gear into the game at some point. I would look up the linke but am too lazy.
