  1. Good, so I'm not crazy. This was also the general response that I received from /1 this morning before heading out to work.
  2. Except that it's twice as big! Bigger is not always better.
  3. Great model, but it looks like the perfect lightsaber for a Jedi who is overcompensating for certain anatimomical deficiencies! Try it out on a body type 2 character and compare it to other models. This must be an unintentional coding/design flaw.
  4. If you don't already, get the 66 artifact quality crafted mods and enhancements. They have higher mitigation stats than the comm gear. The comm gear for tanks are poorly optimized.
  5. Sadly, it's the only way to motivate them to add new content.
  6. How many cartel coins would you be willing to pay to unlock additional companion roles (i.e., heals, tank, dps)?
  7. When cross-server queuing is operational, I would definitely support a restructuring of the brackets. Skills > Bolster
  8. Generally speaking, it appears that players will choose a comp based on their effectiveness and utility in performing tank, heal and dps roles despite their aesthetic and/or story preference. In a game that focuses around the 4th pillar (story), has EA implemented a flexible companion system to support this focus? Personally speaking, no. I would much rather use certain companions, but don't because they are less effective in the roles I choose for them to perform and that makes me a sad jawa.
  9. Why is the new system just as convoluted as the old? While we have eliminated the cumbersome individual planetary comms, we still have just as many end game comms to manage. Planetary Classic Basic Elite Ultimate This new system is unnecessarily complicated and poorly designed. It should be just as simple and user-friendly as PvP.
  10. That was incredibly lackluster compared to previous videos. How about investing some of those Free-to-Play profits in better expansion marketing? Edit: I tried to give this thread 2 stars and it wouldn't let me. Well played, EA.
  11. TOR is a consumer product not a person. Would you pay today's prices for 5 year old technology and/or features that cannot compete with current products on the market?
  12. In terms of Quality of Life innovations, EAWare developers failed to deliver. These developers should be forced to play GW2 for a couple of weeks. Fighting over resource nodes is so 1990.
  13. It would be nice to get an official statement from BioWare regarding the inclusion of sandbox elements in a future release? Personally, I enjoy both types of MMO design and feel that TOR could benefit greatly from adding sub-pillars to fill the gaps between content updates and repetitive daily activities.
  14. Sand. This game really something to help balance a player's time in between farming FPs, OPs, the GTN and/or 8-man instanced PvP.
  15. This game desperately needs a little sand and an alternate player hub.
  16. Great post, but I did not see any references to the inclusion of sandbox elements. Crafting, social interaction and open-world PvP could be greatly enhanced with the addition of sandbox elements. Hybrid MMOs are the future.
  17. ...or the option to get paid for playing the game in a manner that suits their playstyle.
  18. The OP does not speak for all Americans. I am happy to see other regions around the world receiving much needed attention.
  19. It was mentioned on the PTS form in at least two different threads. This is just another example of BioWare's failure to account for the difference in system design vs. performance.
  20. The Fleet will be one of the reasons that I move on to another game. It is an awful concept in practice.
  21. For some reason, Coruscant bores me to tears. Tatooine or bust.
  22. Given the option to reroll or unsub, I would unsub. The server loads and balancing is BW's folly and to expect player's to "start over" is simply unacceptable as a consumer. For the record, I was lucky and rolled on a high pop server (Jedi Covenant).
  23. Server loads and balancing is a much bigger issue that I don't even want to touch in this thread. I agree that Voss is a pretty cool planet, but I would prefer Alderaan. There is something about the mountains and snow that I like.
  24. I am all for Sandbox elements, which may help alleviate the empty planet syndrome, but I don't see that happening within 1-2 years.
