  1. No, not regular flashpoints. They come from either HM Flashpoints or from normal Operatons (i.e. raids). The last boss in a HM flashpoint drops them and every boss in an Operation drops two of them. You can run all the current Operations in about an hour and 20 minutes. HM flashpoints will take longer. That said, I wouldn't oppose them being available for something like 500-1000 Merc + warzone comms.
  2. Alts and PVP. Normal EV takes an hour for us. HM up to SOA (sorry, we don't feel like wading through his insane amount of bugs we ran into the first time) takes another two, tops. Maybe we'll try nightmare this next week.
  3. People get gear assigned to them sometimes in normal EV, nothing you can do about that. HMs appeared to have full masterloot capabilites, but we were on the basic need/greed system, so I can't confirm.
  4. Pylon bug is annoying (solved by always solving South first for us tonight on HM). Landing to your death is amusing, but gets old fast (we found it's usually the first escape pod on either side that makes you die). Don't forget the fact I killed Gharj on both hardmode and normal mode tonight and didn't get credit for it for the weekly quests. Half the raid gets credit, half don't. Go figure. Mindtrapped people on SOA when he dies have to teleport themselves out of the instance, then fall to their death and get b-rezed for loot. Yeah, one could say buggy end game is buggy.
  5. I would echo the post above mine. Leave area, come back, fall to your death and accept a B-Rez, collect loots. Make sure nobody in your raid has looted before you do this step. Our raid had this exact situation occur earlier tonight.
  6. I'd be ok with making a formal post and then permabanning the exploiters. If they can take away some of the credits, great, but other accounts getting caught in the crossfire for receiving gifts will just make more people unhappy. If they rollback the servers, I'd be more upset than if nothing else happened.
  7. Yes, they figured it out in the main thread.
  8. Baron Deathmark said cheating was encouraged, though I side on "clever use of game mechanics" myself. /shrug
  9. I'm almost positive it's self buffed only. During the operations I've been in, I didn't notice a drastic increase in damage while grouped with other mercs.
  10. Yep, I think it took me a couple attempts mostly because I wasn't paying attention to my debuffs (besides, I wasn't expecting a solo boss fight). Once I realized what was happening, kiting solved my issue.
  11. I honestly don't understand why people dislike "Republic's Most Wanted". Think about it, the Republic considers you more of a threat to them than any Sith. That's pretty boss.
  12. I also reported this and got the standard email response this afternoon.
  13. I don't think the game needs resuscitated, but I don't disagree with what you label as issues, either.
  14. Gear blizz as you would any other tank. Other than the obvious Aim/Endurance, look for things like Defense rating, absorption rating, etc which are his key secondary gear requirements. Don't worry so much about things like crit/surge/alacity.
  15. They're talking about HM Revan and the fact he gibs your tank at 30% unless you have an assassin.
  16. I'm using this build: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#300McZrIkMRrdokfzZc.1 It's a really strong PVE build with decent PVP support. Lowering the cooldown on your second CC and lowering the cooldown of a free ability is to good to pass. I also am a stickler about always having 100% accuracy and 3 points in that talent allows you to pick up more crit.
  17. I dunno, I like enrages, both hard and soft. As a DPS main, they tell me I need to do my job better. Though, I can understand that without a combat log and some of the other UI issues TOR has, hard enrages are a bit trickier.
  18. Off hardmode flashpoint end bosses and operation bosses.
  19. My personal position was that BioWare made a mistake allowing lockbox farming missions to begin with; a better tactic would allow the "wild" lockboxes, but substitute some other reward for the lockboxes (or simply make augments something worthwhile, as oppossed to the vendor trash they are right now) for the mission rewards. Having said that, of course I took my free money leveling up. I have a comfortable nest egg (but not the millions of credits others have who aggressively sliced). But truth be told, as 50 simply doing your Illum + PVP daily quests should reward you with over 100k credits a day. Add in grey items and you're probably pushing 125-150k a day. Granted, learning some hardmodes might cost you 25k credit repair bills, but you should be ok unless you're really failing hard (or learning hardmodes/nighmare modes, but that is to be expected). I still have 400 slicing to see if BW does something with it later, but sending out your companions on slicing missions instead of scav. missions would actually lose me credits in the long run.
  20. Crit/Surge is the answer (after you get to 100% accuracy at max level, not needed as much lower levels).
  21. Warzone Commendations cap at 1000. You can trade them for merc commendations at a 30-10 ratio, but they also cap at 1000. I don't really have an opinion on buying level 40 pvp armor; I didn't, but that's because I was (and still am) using mostly Orange armor I kept up to date with mods. edit: Merc commendations are required to buy Champion PVP bags at a price of 200 of each. champion PVP bags either give you champion pvp tokens or cash and commendations that allow you to buy other PVP gear at 50.
  22. Assuran, Republic's Most Wanted (The Nemesis Legacy)
  23. I looked for a new title and didn't see one. I was rushed for time, however, so I'll double check when I'm able to play again in the next few days.
  24. Yes, please. I look so funny bending over the majority of my existence. Or, another option, change Heatseeker and Tracer missle. That way the animation change is contained only in the Merc tree.
