  1. Because they realized the MMO mechanics are terrible (Shocker, they are a essential part of a MMORPG, especially when you play 60$ and 15$ every month to play it) and wanted to see closure of the story they were focusing on, which is single player.
  2. Is Hamburger Helper still writing for bioware? Still baffles me that basically a fan fic writer who hates video games and literally believes you should be able to skip combat to get to more cutscenes is working there.
  3. Hey now, clearly "LOL GUYS IM SO BUSY IF YOU DONT ENJOY THIS GAME YOU MUST CLEARLY HAVE NO LIFE" is a substantial argument! Along with "WHY ARE YOU LEVEL 50 IN A GAME THAT HAS BEEN OUT FOR 2 MONTHS AND YOU CAN HIT THE LEVEL CAP PLAYING VERY CASUALLY IN A MONTH"
  4. Yeah, a game that has been out for 2 months being level 50 sure is rushing, playing extremely casual to 50! Breaking news: Biodrone has no substantial argument. More at 11.
  5. You =/ everybody else. The population is steadily declining.
  6. Jealous of the aussies, the delayed launch unveiled how turrible the game is without having to commit to a purchase to try it. Forced smart consumerism.
  7. Why would ANYBODY want to pve in a <<MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER>> online roleplaying game? I mean come on, if you want to do PvE go play a singleplayer game that has actual RPG mechanics that aren't watered down and the roleplaying potential is greater.
  8. Pro's: Aesthetically pleasing Story is relevant Con's Engine is terribly unoptimized, and even worse on a dual core. Try playing it on one and having a slide show in a warzone Lack of any MMO feel. Zones are dead, phasing in a cartoony game engine is ridiculous. Phasing on top of already having excessive instancing and bad planet design is even worse Lack of PvP brackets Lack of world PvP
  9. Story is good Character models and terrain are aesthetically pleasing Cons: Broken engine with horrible optimization Lack of any serious MMO feel, worlds are static and lifeless. I guess the kind of bracket.
  10. 1) The engine not being completely broken and unoptimized. Biggest thing keeping me from playing this game when I get 33-50 fps out in the open world and warzones are COMPLETELY unplayable because of the broken engine 2) More emphasis on MMO and less story. Yes yes story is a essential pillar yadda yadda, this game is a internet rpg, not a MMO. Either put in way more MMO emphasis by redesigning planets, removing sharding and unnecessary instances, and add day and night cycles. That or keep everything the same and stop proclaiming its a MMO and remove the monthly fee 3) Population caps. Set a population cap for a faction at 65% of the servers capability.
  11. The graphics, animations and stories are all B+ in this game. I really loved tatooine and nar shaddar The biggest problem I have is the lack of any MMO feel outside of a warzone. I understand the emphasis on story, but they should have made it within reason. No world events, world pvp, hardly ever see anybody about questing if not never.
  12. The forums is more than enough evidence to attest to the broken engine. Or maybe you're one of those biodrones who believes it is a synchronized attack on the game by undercover blizzard staff. The ability delay is not a myth, sorry. Nor is the horrible optimization and performance. Awesome when my friend can achieve higher fps in BF3 @ ultra specs than he can running this game. Nor is the even worse optimization for dual cores. 30-50 fps in the open world, 10-15 in a warzone and looks absolutely terrible and is completely unplayable.
