  1. To heck with that! Go to the top! Add in 1 v. 1 PVP battles that other people can watch. And not just duels with random people in the station, add in a separate PVP map for it.
  2. Buddy... you're missing the whole point... Nobody needs to play SWTOR. Nobody has a chronic illness with SWTOR being the treatment. We play it because we want to. And we want to have fun. So if SWTOR becomes a need for you, you need help.
  3. Amen with that. Seriously guys... I get that SWTOR has a lot of potential and therefore needs a lot of work... but give them some slack. They're working they're a***s off trying to get the game right. Just cut them some slack.
  4. I agree with a almost everything you said. Some counterpoints though: 1) They are actually working on a lot of things for guilds now: guild ships, logos, etc. 2) I understand why SWTOR (and this applies to WoW too) doesn't have houses. It only really works in smaller MMOs because they amount of extra instances that would be created for houses would be catastrophic for the servers! They just can't take another 2,000 extra instances and textures. It's just too much. At least, I think so. Though I'm no expert. 3) The things you mention will take time and they may have been planning to do that anyway, just not right away. They can't do everything by launch and so you have to give it some time. I like this post very much and I think that any hate posts should be removed. I hope BioWare reads and takes serious consideration in this.
  5. I like just about everything... I would also add: Guild Ships (I know they're working on them, but I am a bit anxious) The ability to possibly win trophies from bosses when doing raids with guildies and then maybe showing them off to other guild or to fellow guildies by adding, maybe a trophy room on your guild ships. The ability to purchase cooler and better ships later throughout the game. I keep saying it because I now BioWare needs to hear it: You Need A Render Distance Dropbox! That would demolish the issues with lag and bad render quality that so many people have been complaining about. Cooler legendary armor that stands out more in public (currently, if you're a trooper, you look mostly the same that whole game; still boss though). Need minigames. I totally agree with that.
  6. I'm just saying that there's some stuff in that video that BioWare will most likely want to at least give a second thought. I'm not saying that everything he says is valuable, just some things.
  7. Quite to the contrary... I actually think that it's a very good sign. It means that they're preparing to wow us with a bunch of new content that nobody could have before hoped they would release... or something like that. This might just be wishful thinking, but I'm hoping that it's because they're silent that means they're planing something big.
  8. YES!!! A mature and sensical sounding advice thread. Do you have any idea how hard these are to find?
  9. It is a little bit trollish. ...trollish (?). It's a word! Add it to your dictionary!
  10. They also ought to have some sort of database Interface where you can search up guilds, get their leaders' names, and read up on guilds. It should also allow you to display a message for a player that you invite to your guild. But that's just me.
  11. I was surfing YouTube one day when I found this video. Now, I love SWTOR (my friends make fun of me for it) but I do believe that it has its flaws. I saw this video and thought that the guy brought up some really interesting points. he has some comments that all of you from BioWare will DEFINITELY want to see. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnKYF_ZZQDE
  12. Recently, patch 1.2 came out and I was very impressed. But, obviously, it didn't have everything that I wished it had. I wished it had implemented a few more changes and additions. But what do you want to see happen? Please feel free to name anything from houses to pets to new attacks and abilities. What do you want to see? Personally, I think they should give you a starter ship and allow you to purchase more and better ships later throughout the game. I also think there should be more customization of the ships too so that they can become personal. I also want to see the ability to change render distance. Many people have had complaints (including myself) about the bad lag that SWTOR presents, and I think that by adding a "render distance" dropbox or slider in the graphics page, that could almost entirely wipe out the lag issue. But that's just me. What about you?
  13. Considering how long it took them to do patch 1.2, I doubt if they will have it out by May. I actually hope not because that would mean that they aren't really putting forth full effort. Just take your time BioWare, there's no rush. Just ignore the impatient idiots who say otherwise.
  14. So... Just ignore them... They are just whiny people who want to pick a fight... Has anyone heard the "Do you have a bullhorn?" speach?
  15. Oh, wait... I understand how storageworks, but all my other ideas stand.
