  1. In my opinion sage/sorc TTK is fine. I sprint behind things (try and line up so you are breaking LOS for those attacking/jumping but keeping LOS to any other healers) and that's all the sprint I need.
  2. Could you make it so that in the UI settings we have the ability to control the size, shape, color of the target markers for the current target and the next target in cycle? Right now its a red arrow that is filled for current target. In a heavy combat situation where I have my camera panned back I find telling which is which to be annoying. If I could set it a different color then it would be clear to me.

Is it me or did the supposed fix to shifting of people when cc'd not only not get fixed, but now its much worse and you randomly just appear places with no travel to your new location? Sometimes I use the vent and I teleport to some random location, no flying in the air or anything.
  4. I love these posts. Your effort and the amount of work it is would have been appreciated if it happened 1-2 months ago. Any long time player of MMOs knew mergers/transfers were coming the moment the game released, so one can only assume that people that work in the industry would also have that level of insight. Instead you waited way too long and now your all 'we are going as fast as we can, look how hard we are working'. Well tough, my sympathy lies with the people that have stood around for days waiting for a que pop and for BW to address the problem.
  5. So has there been any new information post-maintenance in regards to transfers for today?
  6. Is there actually something worthwhile to buy with daily commendations now that makes it worth grinding them out? I do it for the cash, have over 600 commendations and nothing there even remotely interests me. I was thinking I would get the legacy set, but then I noticed the crappy items you can buy only let you trade for the non-modable version. Who the hell is spending 200 daily tokens for an unmodable piece of armor?
  7. If a lot of people interpret what was said in a different way then it was a failure to communicate. Why cant you fanbois get it through your flag waving that the term 'gradual' can mean a lot of things to a lot of people and I doubt any pre-transfer poll would have predicted that gradual meant starting with 4 NA servers.
  8. That's 9 NA servers, given an average day time load of around 20 people, that's 180 people doing transfers. Lets not move so fast.
  9. To sum up the last 1000 posts: Angry customer: ***, this isnt what I thought gradual meant Happy fanboy: this is totally what I thought gradual meant, you guys should learn to read Bioware: let us clarify with more subjective, vague statements on what gradual might mean while we defend our right to be gradual and subjective and provide as little information as possible
  10. That's the same as saying fortune tellers are always right because if they say enough bland, vague, subjective statements they cant possibly be wrong. Same goes for transfer, regardless of what they did it would have been what they said, because their description was vague, and subjective.
  11. What they should have said was 'we plan to do 4 NA servers on the first day'. Not gradual, not phased, not some other subjective word that people will take to mean what it means to them. To me 4 NA servers is 'doing almost nothing and creeping along from there', by subjective definitions.
  12. Simply put they are freaking out because it should have happened 1-2 months ago and by the looks of things its going to take another month.
  13. Ultimately the problem comes down to using subjective terms like 'gradual' to describe your process. Rather then come out and say 'we plan to do 4 servers the first day' they say vague comments like 'gradual' and then be surprised that someone's view of what 'gradual' means is different then their own. By my definition 4 servers is more like 'we plan to do almost nothing and will creep along from there'.
  14. I think there is a difference between gradual and barely moving forward. All the fanboys seem to forget we needed transfers a month or more ago and Bioware should have been prepared for server transfers/mergers on release. Making excuses for them does not change the fact that they were not prepared and now they are moving at a pace that pisses people off. If it is going to take a month to get everyone transferred, it should have started two months ago imo. Folks are tired of playing on empty servers, tired and increasingly angry.
  15. I must say I am absolutely amazed at the volume of folks defending Bioware. Transfers were needed a month or more ago, the fact that we are just getting them now is stupid enough, starting with just 4 servers for NA and picking the servers they did.... is just undescribable using PG language. 4 NA servers to start.... great we should all get out transfers sometime in the next 2 months... is that gradual enough for you fanboys?
  16. I think ultimately the changes to sin are fine for PvP, though I do not think they went far enough with harnessed darkness and its mirror. Really needs to be interuptable at the very least, damage reduced to go along with the healing reduction might be a good idea as well. The change to armor bonus from dark charge will hurt sin tanks in PvE unnecessarily in my opinion. Hard enough to tank as a sin, the nerf to armor in my opinion will remove us from being a viable option for anything but emergency/off tanking.
  17. I really enjoy how Bioware makes server transfers out to be this huge deal, so much effort, blah blah blah. Makes me want to break out a violin and play them a sad song. Every major recent game has had to do mergers/transfers. There is no reason they shouldn't have expected this and had something in place long before it is needed, not a month after it would have been nice to have. Due to your complete lack of foresight and proper planning folks got tired of hanging out on dead servers and created toons elsewhere. Your system does not allow them to move their toons to the same server in a timely fashion, likely not even for free. Overall I give your efforts a thumbs down. Transfers needed, glad to have them, but like everything else you have done since release its to little, to late.
  18. Why are you making excuses for them? This is not the players fault he just played the game and turned in his quest like he always would. The weekly PvP quest resets every Tuesday at the exact same time, the fact that they didn't tell the player base they planned to triple the rewards the very next day is just plain stupid, lazy or uncaring, or maybe a bit of all three. All they had to say was 'do not turn in your quests as we are patching it on Wednesday', but they simply could not be bothered.
  19. Every major game in recent memory has had this issue, and thus it is hardly one that should be a surprise to someone developing an MMO. What is a surprise is that the game company didn't have transfer code written/tested/in place before the release of the game. .
  20. Are you sure, I saw a screenshot with them in someone's gear, I assumed they were drops from HM/NM of the latest OPs.
  21. Where do the schematics drop for the Armor/mod/enhancement 27 items? Are they BOP when you make them? Thanks, Cul
  22. I am with many others that have posted. I could care less about official numbers of subs and whatever jaz you want to measure it by, what matters to me is game play. When 1.2 hit the game my guild was running 16 man hardmodes, we had a full 8 man ready for rated warzones. Now, a month and a bit later my guild is empty, no one left, they run nothing. I can spend all day looking for a FP or HM to run without luck. There are no guilds even running stuff for me to join. It is 7 pm est and I have been in a warzone que for over an hour, isnt this peak hours? As much as I enjoy the game and want to play it, I am not sure I would consider me not being able to play/enjoy the game is a success, would you? Sure 'transfers' are coming, but my view is they should have been in place before they were needed. Anyone that has played MMOs knew it would be necessary, so I would assume anyone that makes MMOs should also have known and yet here we are sitting around on dead servers waiting for them to get ready what GW2 will have ready before the game is released.
  23. I am not sure a game that is suffering massively from 'it should have been done a month ago' is in a position where they can lay off a lot of people. Before 1.2 my guild was running 16 man HM's, we had a rated warzone team ready and practicing. Within a week of 1.2 we lost so many people that we could no longer run anything but a flashpoint and we no longer had the people for PvP groups. SWTOR cannot afford another dismal flop like 1.2 and I am not sure how they can avoid it with fewer people.
  24. The only major patch so far has been 1.2 and frankly if I was to give that patch a name it would be 'the halfas_ patch. I cant think of a single thing that was implemented in a way I thought 'wow this is great', nothing. UI changes are fine, but what is important to my was the fly text being fixed to actually do what the settings indicate it should do. How about the ability to move my buff bar to a different location then my portrait or the ability to customize it and separate debuffs from buffs? Changes to gear so you can move all the mods and we wont all run around looking exactly the same, great change... oh wait, it only applies to set bonuses of the top tier set, nothing below and we screwed around with champion/battlemaster anyways, as if it mattered. Class balance, fix one break two, stuff that everyone was posting about saying was going to be a problem... do it anyways and surprise, its a problem. I could go on, but you get the point. Everything they changed in 1.2 was as you said 'catch-up' and they did such a bad job of it I really question why anyone would get exited about 1.3, 1.4, or 1.5. I play games to enjoy the company of friends.... they all left after 1.2. The rated warzone team we had put together, almost all gone. Friends list is empty 90% of the time. A big content boost coming in 1.4, which will be who knows when, does what when there is so few left to enjoy it? And frankly at this point given the Legacy focus of 1.2... the content will all be for our alts, big whoop.
  25. I personally do not care what the number is, or how it stacks up with other games. What I do know is that que times for warzones are way longer, finding groups takes way longer, my friends list rarely shows anyone logged in, my guild list is way shorter, etc. Anyone that thinks that does not have a negative impact on those of us left playing the game is just plain foolish. They needed cross server queing a month ago, it's getting to the point of to late.
