  1. Hold up don't put Guardians in the same class as Sentinels. DPS guardian is SUPER SQUISHY. Sentinel is a lot tougher in PvP due to several defensive abilities. Not to mention vanish.
  2. They are making the gear fully modable in some future patch.
  3. I watched that whole video closely and the first "4k" crit was when he had trinket+adrenal + expertise buff which means this video is prior to the big nerf on stacking. Plus if you watch the entire video it quickly becomes obvious he's cherry picking between several videos since he crits like 80% of his shots.
  4. You seem to just assume everyone with full champ gear got "lucky". A large amount of people have been 50 for more than 4 weeks now. Many of us just kept opening bags with horrible luck and are still missing one piece or something. The reality is you just want it easy and want a bunch of free commendations when the patch hits. Too bad put your work in like the rest of us did. You're already getting easy mode on gear.

    PvP Gear Nerf

Thanks a lot that does indeed make me happy.
  6. What people don't want is Arenas with special gear rewards. Also PvP balance should be about warzones.
  7. How are you going to compensate the people with full gear then?

    PvP Gear Nerf

I found no post saying that?
  9. You haven't provided a proper solution to your own argument then. What about the people with full champ gear? Will we be provided with battlemaster pieces to make up for you getting full champ gear easy? What about the people with full battlemaster gear then? Will they be provided a new tier of gear to make up for the above?

    PvP Gear Nerf

Now this doesn't state specifically that PvP gear is getting nerfed but I think this could use some clarification. Is champ/battlemaster gear going to face stat reductions? Or is easy to acquire level 50 gear going in? If champ/BM gear is getting nerfed I hope PvE gear will be getting a similar nerf yes? PvP players are already wearing PvE gear in many slots due to the crappy diminishing returns of expertise. If champ/bm is nerfed further then PvPers will feel forced to raid to be competitive. I'd far rather see a cheap level 50 blue set go in. I can't even fathom why it was taken out in the first place.
  11. Ilum is definitely broken on most pvp servers. The fact that valor doesn't split in any way leads to both factions zerging it up as much as possible. Since it's rare for sides to be remotely even this just leads to the losing side giving up on even going there. I have some faith in their ability to fix things but it seems like the devs are ignoring it now since they consider it difficult to fix. If that continues I'll be quitting till they fix it as well.
  12. Considering the mass ops zerging is leading to one faction becoming battlemaster easy you'd think they would worry about it a bit more. Those people are going to become bored and quit just as fast as the people getting zerged.
  13. On Hedarr Soongh we have one of the larger and more balanced populations. Republic semi often gets same faction Huttball in fact. It's afternoon on a saturday now and Ilum is essentially dead. There's a small group of empire running around ganking but even they aren't here in force. The reality is Republic stopped bothering to show up since the zone favors zerging and Empire always has enough to curb stomp whoever is there. That same favoritism towards zerging has led to Empire also overflowing with battlemasters who are probably going to grow bored soon with nothing left to do. I can only imagine how bad it is on less balanced servers. This is a huge problem that needs another hotfix. It's not easy to solve but it's going to destroy the game for PvPers. Most of them will be unsubscribing at this rate. Please don't think you solved the issues Bioware we need another update here.
  14. Right these people are already finished rerolling OP's. As for the L2P everyone is spouting. Blah blah I don't have any problem with them 1 on 1. I only see them as a problem when there are 2~3 per side in a war zone.
  15. What? The combat system doesn't need to be tied to animations. You won't lose any "variety" if abilities apply NUMBERS at the same time.
  16. It's starting to ruin high level PvP now. I don't play a scoundrel so all this time I've been willing to assume "grass is greener" syndrome or what have you. We're far enough in though that the more serious types have done a full reroll and geared up in large numbers. It's just not something that can be ignored any further. People will find it unfun and just stop playing. It's time to hotfix their damage plain and simple. EDIT: For everyone whining L2P I don't have any problem beating OP's 1v1. I'm talking specifically about large numbers of OP's here. It's when you get several of them that they become a problem. Everyone dies so fast that the door timers are suddenly the determining factor of PvP.
  17. Not really. Probably 50% of time is spent moving around or talking to stuff. An hp nerf to mobs you don't even see every pull isn't going to increase leveling speed very much. It's just going to make combat feel more fun.
  18. I didn't say anything about making the game faster or easier. I'm talking about combat length itself. There's no need to increase leveling speed or lower difficulty.
  19. Game feels fine on your first character but alts are getting a bit tedious/grindy due to combat pacing. I love the game and want to play every class. The time it takes to kill higher level mobs has me pulling out hair though. I spend far too long going between new bits of story due to how long it takes to go through some of this trash. How about a blanket 50% hp nerf on silver/gold mobs? Obviously not the ones in group content but for solo stuff I think this is warranted. Damage can be upped to keep the difficulty roughly the same.
  20. What grind? The amount of bags you get from dailies/weeklies is plenty. If you're actually grinding out the buyable bags you only have yourself to blame. Each day doing dailies will get you approx 3 bags (1 bought 2 from rewards). Doing the weeklies nets you 6 more. That's 27 bags per week from minimal pvp.
  21. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying the quest text implies some cut scene is supposed to happen to knock him off. The current method feels like an unfinished band aid. Knocking him off happens no matter what I assume.
  22. Vanguard. They have the pull that might count. So vanguard and 3 scoundrels and you have 1 pull and no knockback. It's a cool way to end the fight and is clearly legit but it seems like it's not intended as the main way. The quest guy talks about a ship crashing into the window and knocking him in or picking up his lightsaber etc etc. My point is it really seems like there's supposed to be some mechanic to toss him in without knockbacks.
  23. That's not what the quest text implies and it's possible to have a group that doesn't even have two knockbacks.
  24. We just did this and had no problem finishing Malgus off after looking up the knockback but that is clearly not the intended way to beat him. Even the dialog after the instance implies this. Is this just unfinished/bugged or is there a currently working proper method of killing him? Also how do you stop HK from assassinating a group memeber? We basically killed him fast enough that it didn't matter but cleansing/healing/interrupting didn't seem to work.
