    IMO generally the people who need to use such an exploit will normally struggle on the next bosses. I think a lot of progression needs to be about trust. As a game community we should expect that people complete the boss as it was intended. It is difficult sometimes to tell whether a method of killing is intended or not - so would be impossible to police.

     

    For example (as people have mentioned) Warlords fight in S&V NiM - Is the intended way to kill 3&4 at the same time thus eliminating the enraged + adds phase? Its unknown because everyone in progression killed it this way so far.

    It is certainly nice to see boss kill videos and rules out any questions of people killing them inappropriately however not everyone can stream / record. As a community we should be as inclusive as possible to this regard.

    Why thank you for watching. It's always good to have a fan ;) Did you watch the night b4 when Tu'chuk did crush us?

     

    Just to make the above point even more clear Suckafish got to Council first. I'm sure many strats were tried prior to the strat used by another guild being made available via stream. It is always a trade off when streaming if there is something you discover and you are public then it is going to be seen (maybe a delay would prevent this?)

     

    The benefit to it is that it gains publicity for the guild and involves members from around the community in content they may be unable to see via other means.

    This is something we definitely talked about as a part of this program. For now our goal is to launch the Class Representatives and see how it goes. If it is well received on both sides and people like the dialog it creates. If it works, we will talk about expanding it, like you suggested above.

     

    As you can see from this very thread some folks are hesitant about the concept. We too want to see how it goes before we roll it out too broadly!

     

    If I could make 1 suggestion.

     

    Don't have seperate reps for mirror classes. instead have a rep for each skill tree. i.e for Shadow/Sin have a Tanking rep and a dps rep.

     

    for Merc have a DPS rep and a healing rep etc...

     

    This would make way more sense then Shadow and Sin reps.

    I implore you to please add legacy 'knife' 'scattergun' 'shield' 'generator' and 'focus' with this event.

     

    Its quite a pain currently that only Mara/Sentinel can use both weapons legacy (discounting Mercs and Slingers due to the opposite factions class having a different weapon system.)

     

    + That gear looks great, nice to see some of the old set styles (columi etc..) coming back in along with some hopefully new ones.

    3 guilds on the swtor universe, i dont realy call it has multiple :D

    and if at the end of several months we have 5 guild that can clear TFB NiM, is too much.

     

     

    Edit: skiping DGs to gear up and then kill it, in my book is cheating the progression, and shouldnt count

     

    4 have cleared.

     

    There's one thing about 'cheating' progression i.e world first. Farming runs are another thing.

     

    IMO if you don't care about progression (its over now anyway) then just skip them. You will still have a fun raid and still kill some bosses / get some gear.

     

    If you want the challenge don't skip them or come back when your gear is higher level.

    Grats, Gl with the remaining 3!

     

    Had you completed 2nd boss in that screenshot too :eek:? For the next bosses I would suggest you use the usual clock rather the that one. It makes it easier to check timezones etc rather than using a clock which just compares the time and date you set it to against the time and date in the timezone you select.

     

    You should be able to find one in the original post I believe (Here is a copy)

    Not to try and diminish anyone's achievement, but I believe a true world first should go to the team that is able to down the entire operation, a 2nd time.

     

    Perhaps if they could prove they downed every boss twice. I'm guessing this could be a skipping DG issue again?

    It wouldn't be world first then though. Would be World first Progression - World First Farm run.
