  1. /signed Or at the very least make classes able to assign sounds to proc's
  2. HM Flashpoints have interruptible bosses, Operations are something different.
  3. Should probably try photobucket, got his error when opening: "Warning! It seems that you are not allowed to download or view attachments on this board. Please login below or register an account with BiC Forums. "
  4. For me by far what has made this such an innovative jump? When I win that damn roll against all the light leaning folks in my group and get to FORCE CHOKE THE **** OUT OF THAT WHINY *** NPC while they watch helplessly....
  5. Uruare is pretty smart, its basically for the same reason there is a crap ton of different clothing manufacturers... why do you think most compete in the same market space? - I do agree that there should be more difficult content that a group of four friends can complete, more and more people are having less and less free time.
  6. Am I the only one getting 2004 de ja vu from the EQ/WOW release forums being damn near the same things? ... omg WoW wont last, there are only two raid instances and they are bugged to hell.... EQ has well established loot tables... my gear on WoW looks like garbage, everything looks the same... if they dont <insert thing that EQ does here> this game is going to tank... PvP is so imbalanced, too much CC/gear imbalance/class imbalance... edit: Point I'm trying to make is, SWTOR has some rough edges but the launch was solid. There are these three things that I find most valuable: Story driven - I actually really enjoy the storylines (at least the first time through) they have great writers and voice acting. I actually felt like I was actually working toward something. Companions - your never alone, if you gear them they are effective, they have their own stories. I'm sure they will do their best to cater to both casual and hardcore players. My hopes is that they will expand the character stories in addition to adding other content.
  7. Why enraged charge? Force charge - 4 rage DS - 1 rage BA - 7 rage Rupture - 5 rage Annihilate - 0 rage +1 refund Nice guaranteed opener edit: for refund
  8. Theorycrafting is fun but its just that "Theory". I do feel like PvP crowd are getting the short end of the stick here and PvE is going to be very very slightly 'buffed' If you are able to maintain Juyo stacks and do a Berserk rotation between dots on every second rotation (15 ticks on first rotation, 15 on second), best case scenario you will get a 1% dps increase on your dots (you are taking damage and have defensive forms). If you are unable to maintain Juyo stacks and miss Fury on a rotation you are looking at a definite loss. Based on an average crit rate of 30% which increases to 44% if you are able to pop Berserk on every second rotation. I didn't include the Juyo stack ramp up of 7 seconds and I used 15 ticks a rotation 6 for Rupture and nine on DS. I didnt include actual surge and instead did 0 and +30. It may technically be a nerf but think about it, they are just correcting a mistake they made and are at least trying to make up something for it. Edit: like a ******* put Ataru instead of Juyo... still got a soft spot for Carnage
  9. One of the reasons I never post here, I love the amazing contributions that are made by the community... so useful Edit: Didn't mean it as a personal attack, just my observations
  10. Yup, it's an instant ability with a 4.5s cooldown.
  11. To the OP, yes the Marauder is one of the harder to play classes. I think his point was that it takes more work to do the same (perceptive) amount of damage with the least amount of down time compared to say a BH. This is absolutely true, you can't just blindly run in and smack a mob in the face repeatedly until dead, in this regard yes Sorc or a BH will make the game feel much easier. There are some pretty basic rotations you need to get downpat, run an Annihilation spec and you will be sturdier, plus the rotations generally feel smoother when you get in the groove. When engaging something tough make sure you pop Cloak of Pain then Charge > Deadly Saber+Battering Assault > Rupture for a dead standard opener. You may want to throw in an obfuscate in the beginning there so you will have an hp advantage from the start. Don't forget you can effectively kite other melee sometimes. Drop some dots on the fool and cripple it. The cripple lasts for 12 seconds so you can get some your CD's back up while it chase you around. This doesn't always work if they root/snare/stun you every damn five seconds but it has gotten me out of a bind from time to time. If you start running into a deficit (CD's are all down and mob has more health than you) use Camo, make your companion tank for a bit until you get your **** in order. You need to use disruption to stop their abilities, make sure its bound to an easy to reach key, it will definitely save your *** in some fights. Make sure you always keep deadly saber up, pick up Short Fuse and Defensive Forms from Carnage, with those two you should be able to pop Berserk about every 15 seconds, this is crucial that you use this ability because of the guaranteed crits on six ticks of bleeds and you should have your 2% heal return. I'll admit the class feels amazing at times depending on the fight, against certain types of MOB's you will feel weak because they have abilities that severely detrimental to melee. I play the Marauder because its and engaging playstyle that feels very rewarding but I agree with the OP it can be so damn frustrating at times. I still love my BH but only really play him when I need a break from melee. TLDR; Yeah I love my Marauder, yeah it aint the easiest class to play
  12. Deadly saber will proc once per GCD on successful attacks, each proc refreshes the remaining for 15 seconds.
