  1. OK, so if a terrorist is killing babies outside my apartment I shouldn't quit the warzone to save the babies? Why, because it affects your game? Sorry but if it's between saving babies or playing a MMO I am saving the babies. You can take your keyboard warrior mentality somewhere else.
  2. Would anyone be able to tell me what the stats look like on a standard War Hero Stalker gear set? I realize the augs matter but whatever you use is fine for comparison. End WP Crit Pwr Srg Armor Acc I originally had that gear but never wrote it down.
  3. Ok this is really ridiculous. There is a PVP feature that must be fixed. As you all know, Bioware gave us a great function to leave FAIL warzones. You have a button to press and you are instantly removed from playing in FAIL warzones. So if you get stuck with a team down 1-0 or loses 2 nodes in CW/NC or a quick plant in VS you just leave and boom you get a fresh team. Why OH why do they sometimes make me go back to the fail group that I left. What if I get stuck in the WZ and get a loss? Do they not realize that some of us non-noobs actually have 100% winning percentage? When you leave a WZ you should have that same WZ blocked when you requeue!!!!!!!! Also, I don't play in WZ with a team with more than one 15K HP guy, and even then it's only if I have two 20K hp guys to balance out the fail. This further prevents loses and increases my fun, imagine if I get put back with the new (recruit gear) players, lol, no thank you. /Boggle
  4. OK, Ever since I converted to being a quitter something has been bothering me. When I determine that I should quit a FAIL warzone because: My teammates are bad My teammates are not wearing good enough gear My teammates are medal farming My teammates don't concentrate on objectives My opponents are over geared My opponents are a premade Someone didn't call inc Someone didn't listen to directions Etc Etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc I have to deal with NOT getting prorated commendations, I get none, zero. Why can't my teammates who I deserted have the opportunity to vote for me for MVP. Clearly I was the best in the group, that is why i quit, I was the only non-noob. Also, since I started quitting warzones I have NEVER EVER LOST. Do you understand how good I am, I never lose anymore. Meanwhile I have a 100% winning percetage and the people in my ex-group are getting a loss. Who is the MVP the guy with the losses or the guy with the 100% win%. So my question is, why does Biofail take away the opportunity to vote for me because I had the good sense to hit the [leave warzone] button, that they gave me, instead of being a fool and taking a loss? PS If two or more quit MVP should go to the guy who quit first
  5. If we had four separate queues then the wait would be too long. When people ask these types questions, such as why cant we separate premades, or separate gear levels it is the same answer. It's also like vegetables, they are good for you. If you played one WZ over and over you would get sick of it. So you may think you hate it but it serves a greater good. The people who leave the warzone can leave the 7 other players shorthanded, not that they care.
  6. It could be interpreted to mean that the spec does not need a team, it's so awesome on it's own. I think he was saying that it's a similar role to concealment operative. I kind of look at that class (Co-Op) as a solo class in a team game. You can basically assign that class a role, like kill the healer in Voidstar, or the Jugg in Hutball or to solo capture a lightly guarded point. I personally don't think the infiltration shadow really has that role, simply because of the cool down on stealth and the fact (as said before) that stealth makes you waste your cleanse and force speed and is still not close to 100% successful. Or the ability to "run" more than 5 times per Warzone max. Is my math wrong, the cooldown is 180 seconds (three minutes) in a War Zone that lasts at most 15 minutes.
  7. I am not saying there is not hacking, I am sure there is. But I have not seen it. However, I have seen teammates complain about the DPS hack, the Leap to no one (stealth teammate) hack, the Marauder speed hack, The quick cap hack. Also, every ninja cap in Voidstar is apparently a hack and not because someone got ninja'ed. I would say the false accusations outweigh hacking by about 19 to 1.

  9. I liked most of your post. the only thing I disagreed with was.. "There is currently no reason to bring a Deception Sin over a Sniper or Marauder who have the same or better straight DPS plus group utility (armor pen, trauma debuff, bloodthirst, etc.) " In my opinion, the shadow class, has some great utility that sniper/marauder does not. Real stealth and we have 3 or 4 real CC, slow, taunt and knockbacks. (I know they each have some of those) There are drawbacks and advantages to every class. I don't like when people directly compare classes because they leave out major things like a sniper (some AC's) having to be bound by the cover mechanic and so much more. The part I quoted though I have said hundreds of times because it is true and such a such a simple fix. Lowering the cooldown would accomplish a secondary function besides survivability. It would also be a big boon to force management with Shadows Respite/Dark Embrace. They need to fix vanish/bail so that it stops dots on its own as well. Its ridiculous that to use vanish you need to blow the cooldown of cleanse AND forcespeed in most circumstances. The other great thing about this fix is its so easy to adjust if it is "over fixed." In znother'x words, if we could vanish too often and became a terror for the opposition the developer could just raise it..... tinker with it untill it works. I speak from a PvP perspective only.
  10. Please, no critique of infiltration, I played KC, it's better I know, but I still like infiltration. I have finished WH so I am now getting additional WH pieces and messing with switching in mods & enhancements for my PvP Infiltration specced Shadow. So, I do a great deal of modding to increase survivability and it still bursts very hard. Currently all of my augs are willpower and I assume my willpower hit diminishing returns. What augs would you reccomend? 14 Willpower Augs gives me a lot of room. I was assuming I should replace all of them with 50% Pwr and 50% Srg? Should I keep some Willpower?   11. I would rather they keep it squishy. Instead, lower the cooldown on stealth. This will make them survive more and give them more force regeneration because of the "increased force regeneration after stealth" talent. It irks me that developers have so many metrics and don't notice an AC is incredibly underplayed. As an aside, the quick burst is way more useful than AoE damage. Nothing against AoE damage, it is useful, but single target is better. The only way you will ever put up big numbers is with a healer who concentrates on you. Rare.
  12. I would retitle the thread "The Player Disconnect." They (Devs) have heard this complaint over and over and have responded. If a team of eight focuses you, you will die. If a team of eight chain roots you, then you are stuck. Saying 8 v 1 causes chain roots is not valid. Adding root to resolve will kill the ranged classes.
  13. It is not 1v8 either. It is 8v8. The root ability is on a cool down and everyone has a breaker. If everyone on a team is chain rooting one guy then the one guy is stuck, similar to how if one guy is focus fired on he dies. In my opinion. Ranged classes would be gimped out of the game without this ability.
  14. 22K HP is more than 22% increase from 14K HP. I am not sure if there is a heal bonus or if it is a healer bonus. I wish people would test it out. Put someone 1v1 vs Rakata. I don't know.

  16. It depends if you are a pro quitter. If you wait around and try and "comeback" like a noob then the math does not work. If you quickly identify your team as bads and drop it works perfect.   17. ^^^^^^^^ This And also, if Bioware FORCES me to play better geared or more skilled people or a team with better class makeup or a WarZone I don't like or play with "bads" who don't call incoming, I will quit. I cant worry about the other people in my WarZone until they pay my subscription. Essentially if I am losing it is for one of these reason.
  18. Jeez, you are a nice guy. My limit is 3. If you leave whenever you see 3 people in 15.5K HP or less, you will dramatically increase your win chances. Why should I have to group with these bads? Let some other shlub group with these guys. I pay $15 a month not to get rolled. I pay to play competive matches that I win, NOT LOSE. Why would I pay real money to lose? If you stay in these matches to lose you need to get your head examined. No one should lose because of bads. As I said, since adopting the quitting approach I win 100% of my matches.

  20. So I used to be against quitting, but now I started doing it and it is awesome. I have not lost a match in a week. Instructions All you do is quit when you go down 1-0 in huttball, when the opposition gets 2 caps first in CW or NC and if after 1.5 minutes in VS you do not cap a door or if the opponents cap a door. You will generally finish dailys on three characters in the time it takes to normally finish on one. (If it is taking a long time to finish a match, ie you are only up 1-0 after 5 minutes, it may be advisable to quit here too) Pro Quitter Trick - Inspect your team at spawn and if they are not geared up to the T, just quit and let them start out shorthanded, lol, they should have geared up. Warning I know what you are thinking, it's not fair to your teammates. LOL It's their fault, not mine, that we are losing. They are bad and don't call "Inc" or they are all medal farming, why else would we lose? OR it's Bioware's fault, if I lose it's because I am playing against premades. It is 100% not MY fault, ever, I am really good. What about the poor guy who fills in for you? Too bad on him, it's Biowares fault, not mine. Some of your ex-teammates (after you quit the "bads" team,) will send you whispers, just call them "kids" and then add them to your ignore list. The future of PvP If everyone follows this method PVP will be awesome and instead of competing and winning and losing we will all finish our dailys faster.   22. Yes you will. The others teammates that you win with are probably doing more than "trying" for you. Kansas "_______ on my wayward son" Wow That is great. If everyone left 1 in every 12 matches that would ruin PvP. There are 16 players per match so every match would essentially be decided by who has more quitters. This is my point, I dislike when people quit on the opposition team as well. We blow through one door in a wz and all of sudden its like we are playing against a team of 5 people. Not fun. If you were in 25 matches and won 1/2 that means you lose 12 matches and and stay for 10. 5 out of 6 you will stick out. Considering most quitters exaggerate the ones they are staying for well.....
  23. Yes we agree that you only care about your game-play and not your teammates game-play. Your teammates can't dictate what you do but you certainly have no problem forcing them to play short which can be huge in WZ's like Voidstar/NC. This is typical quitter mentality/hippocracy. They are so offended someone is in level 49 gear and will hurt their chance of winning they force the other 6 guys to play short and hurt all 6 of their chances to win. Lol at trying to turn it on me. This is typical quitter mentality as well. As I said before, if I win 10 and lose 1 there will be quitters in the one I lose and it's poor sportsmanship. But great job implying I am bad without ever seeing me play, Ironically, this is what most quitters do when they are in a losing a match, they blame someone and quit. They are not "fine" with people in level 47 gear or fine with people not calling inc etc etc etc They just deal with it without quitting on the "other" people and the "other" guy who will eventually fill the spot. It is called consideration.
  24. So you make the other 7 people play short handed because you feel the guy in level 47 gear is being unfair to you. This seems hypocritical. Translation - If we are losing I leave Didn't call inc, didn't come to help fast enough, didn't heal me, etc etc etc. People make mistakes, deal with it. If one person on your team doesnt call "inc" you make it worse for the other 6 teammates by abandoning them. When you queue for a random WZ you get a random WZ with random players.
  25. The other people in the WZ will get stuck playing with 7, 6 if the quitting spreads. You can play a one player game however you want, you should not be able to ruin the game for others. This is an MMO and you are dealing with other people. That is why most quitters blame the other people or Bioware, to justify the selfish behavior. They won't say "I hate losing so I quit" Even if that is more accurate. What about the guy who has to fill your spot? Is he not paying?
