  1. Tune-Up Utilities ftw. Use the trial to clean up your machine. THEN, let us know if you have a problem.
  2. Thanks for keeping in touch. Nothing but confidence in your team from me. Keep up the good work.
  3. There's, unfortunately, always a SMALL group of KIDS whose imaginations only allow them to try to be KINGS of a forum. Unfortunately (again), this disorder also includes thinking that if they complain (and try to sound technical and all kinds of experienced when they do) they'll appear to be some sort of gaming experts, thus supposedly elevating their prestige (since status requires some sort of activity on their parts. They'll be a while trying to work that one out....anyhoo.) It's a digital form of putting YOU down to make it look like they're RAISED up...though one might question how they were raised. With regard to the OP. I have no doubt this will be Game of the Year, with no real competition. The game itself is solid enough at its base to allow many years of development, enhancement and elaboration. I'm looking forward to that, and I'm confident I won't be disappointed. Suffice to say if the majority of players posted on this forum, it'd crash continually. Also, it's well known that if people don't have a problem with something, they rarely say anything about it. SURPRISE! (Not to mention the player-wide awareness of the above mentioned ilk...lie down with dogs, wake up with fleas-like.) Oh wait! I have a high end machine with a gaming hook-up! I haven't lagged or crashed once! Fancy that!
  4. I referred this thread to a psychologist specializing in "over-inflated senses of self." He was very happy.
  5. You're recommending a 16-hop courier mission? Oh the cruelty!
  6. How much of this inconvenience would be assuaged if we could get our mail on our ships? Discuss...
  7. I was referring to you clicking your heels together and suddenly appearing where ever you want. OBVIOUSLY we all have ships. They're in the hangar...at the spaceport...ta da ta da
  8. I'm in agreement here. Being able to hop/bop planet to planet on a whim trivializes the terrain requirements, assumes a personal possession of technology that doesn't "exist", and just plain would make it all too easy. Proper prior planning prevents poor performance. Whimsy should be costly.
